 Just how far Akshay Kumar will bank on the 'K' factor is now obvious. For his first home production De Dhana Dhan, the Khiladi wasn't taking any chances and insisted that Katrina Kaif be cast as his leading lady in the film. Nobody else. Several names were being considered, but Akshay wanted only Katrina, said a source. And though the actress had other prior commitments, she juggled her dates to be part of Akshay's first home production, added the source.When BT spoke to Akshay who was shooting in Bangkok, he confirmed, "Yes, we have zeroed in on Katrina. The film is special to me and Katrina has been a lucky mascot. Moreover, I feel audiences like seeing us together on screen." The film will go on the floor in November with the hit starcast of Hera Pheri — Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal and director Priyadarshan calling the shots. "It's a hilarious film and will be completely shot abroad," said Akshay. |
