I think the factor that worked in the girls' favour is that this was not a solo performance. If Narayani were performing alone may be she would have been disqualified too but she was not and disqualifying this performace would have been unfair to others in the group especially when the others continued dancing and did not stop for her! Plus Narayani completed her act which cannot be overlooked! With Amit, it happened in the middle of his performance but Narayani was unwell before itself yet she took tablets and came to perform on stage (read this article which says the same http://starone.indya.com/specials/znd/news/newsdetails.aspx?xfile=2008/September/znd_20080908_8) and did not stop performing-its more like a malfunction she paused but nevertheless she continued!! Amit on the other hand could not get up which was very sad and I feel bad for him.

👏👏👏I agree.. amit didn't even complete half of this performance...and that was his solo performance...when Narayani blanks out, that was a group. not a solo...

but there shouldn't even BE a comparison between Amit and Narayani's performances.

Firstly Amit blanked out a little bit before his performance, and yes that may be due to his injury and then he really hurt his ankle, so he just couldn't dance. It wasn't possible for him. I myself think he should not have been disqualified because as a performer I also know the pressures and strains of something like that occurring and you just can't do anything against your body's will.

Next the question of Narayani being disqualified doesn't even arise. She did not stop performing and continued. I'm pretty sure if it was a point based performance, points would have surely been taken off...but since it was a challenge round it was either the performance was better or not.

Anyways yes hats off to Narayani for continuing on. And I'm looking forward to Amit's comeback in Tashan round next week! I like the dramatic precap they gave on his part!😆

I also wanted to add that if both the acts were compared side by side..actully no..their is no comparison on this..gurls tussi GREAT HO!!!!!!!! Gurls you rocked it bottom line... but but but....Ali in the Ka_las round ...Hats of to him...he was great..so they were equally great today...

even narayani got hurt on her toes and she told that she got blank as she couldnt tolerate that pain knowing that she danced but amit didnt

i don't think amit and narayani should be compared because amit's performance was solo and i think he tried so much to continue but it seemed like the pain was hurting him so much...they had to carry him off of stage bec. he couldn't walk...i felt very very bad when he was given zero but i personally felt in this it was not amit's fault and boys team should have been given another chance but i am not sure what are rules for ZNKD...

For narayani situation was diff....it was group performance and she did blank out for bit but then started again doing danceing...and also other 2 participant n group continued dancing and did not stop...i think if this was solo performance of narayani she would probably have gotten zero...hats off to her for the corage to continue the dance with all the pain...
