Very critical situation help if you can !!

Well, Its not my problem for which I am concerned right now. But of my Best friend. He really loves a girl, but to some reasons they got broke off. & now it is very difficult for him to forget her. He says that he cannot forget her (as every one says). I know this too, it is hard to forget a person whom you love a lot. But atleast with the time passing by & change in situations, one has to move on. I have tried to make him understand this number of times, but he is not understanding. He even cries & tells me that it is getting difficult for him to bear this. I dont know what to do in this situation. I can't see him like this.

it will take time for him to move on.. its hard for u to see him like this but the best u can do is just be there with him... try to keep him busy

Umm..cnt u make ur friend..n tth girl patch up..??Does the girl luv him too??..N if yes..den plz try..to bring dem together.. N if the girl jst used him..den tell ur friend..tht dese things hppens..n we shud hv equal measures of sorrows n joys in our lyf..n jst make him understnd tht..we shud move on in lyf..

first, tell him not to forget.
second try to get together

if not possible,
he should respect the decision now.

but he is free to keep loving her in his heart, and can stay single if he wants. and if being like this giving him pain, he didnt understand meaning of love yet.
but let the girl live happily.

Actually I did try my best, but she has run off with someone else and even her parents donot know where she is. I can only do what ever I could. Its him and he has become unbearable. He has broken off with everyone else even his parents.

Hmmm.... Well, in that case she was not faithful to the relationship and that's more of a reason to forget about her. Maker him understand that he cannot be so selfish to just think about him. He has to think about how awful his parents and friends feel when they look at him. It makes them miserable too and he has no right to do that.

Tell him that you understand that it's awfully hard to forget a person you love but life has to go on with or without the people we love. Just because she left him, doesn't mean that there isn't anyone else in the world who loves him because obviously there are. If he doesn't want to live happily for himself then he has to do that for his family and friends. A little bit of emotional blackmailing sometimes does wonders especially in cases like this when people are torn by the end of a relationship.

But, you also need to give him some time. Time does heal all the wounds, so I am sure it'll help your friend too.

Very Nice reply and advice Mahi my dear friend. I will pass on this message to him, and see what happens !! I have told him that he is a lucky man to be honest, what would had happened if she had run away after him getting married or relation gone to seriousness. This is not the end of the world. He works with me in the same place and thats how I know him, and tried to help.

The best thing that you can do is to give your friend moral support and a shoulder to cry on. It's never easy to forget someone you love but tell your friend that things will get better with time. Time is a good healer, he just needs to hang in there. And if the girl has ran off with someone else then clearly she is not worth it. Tell your friend not to waste his tears on her and to move ahead. It's easier said than done- I know but it's not impossible. Just try your best to keep your friend happy and try to distract him from depressing thoughts. Hope things work out for him soon.
