Just finished watching the Sept 8th epi, and here we go with my random comments again.....If you have the patience, read on😆😆
Mouni's performance: Beautiful👏.....As always, her ethereal grace is an absolute pleasure to watch on screen! A different sort of song choice as well...so it uplifted the performance from the mundane....really well done! The only thought I had as I watched the performance was that I wish the veil wasn't there on top of her head😆.....it kind of covered her face a little clumsily at times I thought...but I guess that couldn't be helped....she was a christian bride...the veil was bound to be there. But her Saiyyaan was better I thought....don't know if it's all cuz that was a better song or if the choreography was also better that time.
Gaurav's performance: It was a good performance, but I didn't personally think that it deserved a 10. A nine probably. There have been more enjoyable performances than that in the past.
Chaitu-Karishma: Suuuuuuuuuuuuuper cute!!😆😆.....This song is rarely done justice in stage performances....since it's so amazingly iconic in the movie. But I think they both totally rocked it big time!👏👏👏.....I had initially wondered how they would look together....briefly wondered if maybe Karishma would look too tall for him😆....but they looked really good together! And completented each other's dancing styles wonderfully! Especially with the energy and rythmn! Was especially very impressed with the lift as well as that rotating on the floor bit followed by K jumping into C's arms....it was really nice!
Girl's JBJ performance: A very good performance this time👍🏼....much better co-ordinated than last time....and very well performed by them! The only thought that briefly crossed my mind was that they could have made the performance a little more lively by using some more props....and they could have moved around the stage more also I thought instead of just making Swini sit there and bringing her in multiple times....a few more props or gimmicks would have been good...especially with the kind of song that it is....and the way it was done in the movie....full on bindaas....needed slightly more chutzpah I thought...if it makes any sense....but it was pretty good overall!
Boys's JBJ: Firstly, WHAT the heck was that?😆😆😆.....They so did NOT give a damn about that performance! And for the most part were grinning away at the judges's comments😕😆😆.....that scripting theory raises its head once again!😉😆......It was all like one big giant improv fest for the most part....as if they had a brief discussion....tu wahaan khada ho lena, yeh do step hain....mix and match...hop around...in the end go ballistic with the swords🤣.....which was the only part that cracked me up a bit....senseless stuff seriously😆😆.....This did not at all look like a team that has solidified its reputation in the JBJ rounds.....I'm hoping they're preparing for the finals and come up with a good one next time!
General thoughts:
Chaitu had a 1000 watt grin on his face throughout....I think yeh Hum Tum woh zindagi bhar cherish karne waala hai....Kyun guys?😉😆....even when the judges were criticizing the last act, he was just grinning away....😆😆
Ladkon ka new catchphrase 'hui hui'.....hilarious!🤣....Where does Ali pull this stuff from???🤣
