Ekta Mai is not going to let go of Shabir that easily. She has realized that she has a potential gold mine in this guy! So...the articles I have read that she intends to launch Shabir in a big way may very well be true. As somebody mentioned...bollywood works on nepotism. Either you have to be born in a bollywood family or you need a sugar daddy/mummy to launch you. And Shabbo is a true Ekta loyalist. He is never going to 'bite the hand that feeds him'.
I just hope that Ekta finds some good meaty films for him to do with good and meaningful storylines which can will show his versatility as an actor. Not to be rude...but her brother Tushars' films are so bad (not that I have seen any of them) that I even cringe at the item numbers which are promoted on various other channels. And most of these films have been funded by her. I don't know if this is lack of judgement on her part or a case of keeping Tushar out of her hair.
