Cricket sends movies for a toss

With the Indo-Pak cricket matches beginning in March, a number of film releases will be re-scheduled in days to come.
To start with, Deepak Tijori has shifted the release of KHAMOSHH - KHAUFF KI RAAT to 25th March/1st April [initially, it was supposed to release on March 11]. "The Indo-Pak cricket matches are too big an opposition," Tijori, who just wrapped up a meeting with his distributors, informed this writer of the decision.
Another producer, who has planned the release of his film in early March, is also likely to postpone the film to a latter date. In fact, a few more producers are likely to follow suit!
PS: While on release dates, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's PARINEETA, directed by Pradeep Sarkar and starring Sanjay Dutt and Saif Ali Khan, has been shifted to May 20. The film was scheduled to hit the screens in April initially.
