THIS REPLY WAS FROM SIMILAR TOPIC, BUT STILL RELEVANT, I HOPE....
Rajdeep is SO NOT meant for Trishna. The only person who can handle him is his mom or Yuv. I can never bring myself to believe that he could be a strong, independent type.
What is sad for me is that Trishna and Yuv did and do love each other. Fate and a seriously flawed mother said something else.
Tanya is nice, I'm happy for her. But I prefer the energy and power of Trishna and Yuv's relationship. Tanya was a simple character with suspect judgment, in short, I thought she was a bit stupid in her decision-making. She was horribly tortured and raped, and Yuv married her to protect her and her family, a consolation prize or sacrifice.
BTW, I hate martyrs like Yuv who make weird decisions to resolve problems that have other solutions and which do not require them to sacrifice the person they love and are loved by. In my mind, his ultimatum was hurt Trish or hurt Tanya and the whole family. He chose the latter. WINNER!!!! Now cry yourself to sleep every night thinking about Trish.
I feel very bad for Tanya and her situation, but I would have stopped Yuv from marrying. She knows Yuv loves Trishna and Trishna loves Yuv. So why hurt your sister??? Why allow him to hurt himself? Being stalked and raped does not mean marrying the next guy you see on the street. I so do not get her. What did she think? Everyone would accept it? That it's ok? Would come around and understand?
And being pregnant, oh so predictable with these serials. It takes many people 3 months to a year to conceive. Tanya and Kanaiya - 1 terrible encounter. He must have some super-sperm.
Tanya needs a husband to help raise the child--too bad it is the man her sister loves, and I hope Trish and Yuv will love each other for a long time. This is because I am so opposed to what is happening on principle. What kind of sh*t storytelling is this??
And to those who think Tanya and Yuv should be together, why is that so? I really would like to understand because I did not come up with the same conclusion. Is it because both are nice. Because Tanya suffered so much. Because they're "cute", whatever that means because they cringe when they accidently touch each other. Because of their "cute" scenes? Because you do not like Trish's attitude? Don't forget that she is a victim here too, like Tanya was, albeit of something much SLIGHTLY LESS traumatic.
I'd like to see one show that dares to show the reality of emotions and relationships. Emotions, like those of Trish and Yuv, don't fly away never to return, married or not. And let's face is Rajdeep, aside from his wealth (and I don't mean his demonic family), is hardly a GEM. He's a big YAWN, and no amount of therapeutic shopping or traveling could erase that.
Girl loves boy. Boy loves girl. Want to marry but girl's mother is a crazed gold-digga (a la Kanye West).
Girl's sister gets raped. Boy feels bad for girl's family and marries sister. Also influencing his decision---his friend.
Girl is broken-hearted, marries Boy's friend out of shock and default. Girl and Boy suffer, as do others around them. WAY TO GO!!!! BEING NOBLE HAS SUCH A PAY OFF! WOO-HOO!
