Shweta Tiwari is ready to play a bad girl. After winning everybody's heart as the holier-than-thou character Prerna in Ekta Kapoor's Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Shweta will now be seen in a new show in which she plays a superstar who is out to destroy someone.
The show titled Ajeeb is produced by Bonnie Jain and directed by Nandkumar Kale.
When contacted, producer Bonnie Jain said, "Shweta plays a superstar who has a failed relationship with a billionaire. Contrary to her image, she goes all out to destroy the man who has ditched her. Shweta Tiwari in a still from Ajeeb
She manipulates everything and sees to it that she gets even with the man. We are not revealing the identity of the man right now as he will come on the show at a later stage."
Ajeeb deals with various incidents that take place in one of India's premium medical institutes. The entire storyline is told through Aarti Thakur who plays Anjali in the show.
There is a parallel track in which Shweta Tiwari plays a pivotal role. Ajeeb also stars Varun Badola, Tanaaz and Bhaktiyar Irani, and Saakshi Tanwar.
Ajeeb will be aired twice a week and will go on air this Wednesday.
Shweta Tiwari was unavailable for comment as she was out of the country.
