Salman Khan has shot a song for his forthcoming venture Veer, which cost Rs 3.5 crores. The song also featured Sohail Khan, Mithun Chakraborty and a lead girl opposite Salman. The song comprised 650-700 junior artistes with most of them in a gypsy style getup and it took around 11 days to complete the shoot. Confirming the news director Anil Sharma informed us, 'The cost of the song is around Rs 3.5 crores. It included the massive sets, expensive costumes from artistes to junior artistes. Trust me, this number is going to be the biggest highlight of the film. I will not deny Salman's immense contribution to this song overall. He has been an extremely cooperative person and I am feeling really lucky to be a part of such an ambitious project.' Sharma refused to divulge the name of the heroine, whom our source claims, is a model-turned-actress and resembles Katrina Kaif. When coaxed Sharma informs, 'We are still planning to give her screen name so there's no point in telling you who she is. Right now Salman has kept everything under wraps.' After the completion of this schedule, Sharma plans the next schedule in England in the month of November. |
