The verbal battle between Nirmal's mother and Sanjay's family was gr8 to watch.😉 K's mami was the battleaxe to the forefront. When Sanjay's mother made derogatory remarks about Nirmal's family background, N's mother does not mince words and let her have it. Wow! the two ladies were going thro a wrestling match. What I don't understand is , -- hadn't S's parents approved of Nirmal before? After all they had allowed S to go and visit her with marriage in mind. So why the turnabout suddenly?😲 Poor S! A strong stubborn mother and a shrew mother-n-law to be!! And Nirmal is so docile!

Another point - why had Mamiji taken K with her? Was K acting as her bodyguard? 😆 K is not a senior member of the family for this type of a showdown. Mami could have taken her husband.

I am actually appalled to hear time and again thro various serials, this thing about status distinction.👎🏼 Dialogues like 'Do takke ke log,------- 'in middle class log' etc make my ears burn. 😔 Most viewers I am sure loathe these words.

Totally agree with you Skeptical...... S's mother should have thouhgt about the class diff before when she sent S to look at NIrmal.... In a way Mamji was impressive in the showdown .... she let them have it wihtout mincing words.....

Then about Mamaji taking K with her..... I think Mamaji would never approve of going over to someone's house in this fashion... so she may have decided on K..

I find these class distinctions disgusting tooo...... But it's been happeing in our society for ages now.... it's going to take a long time to these lines to disappear......

Thay agreed first to this proposal......and S'mother was praising Nirmal without seeing...........wen Raj went there everything changed .I mean now they believe Raj more than sanjay.......I know Raj was da one who stayed wid them and all......since S saw N he went there to teach.......so S knows N's family more than Raj .why don't they believe him.....god knows wen difference wud b cleared in families.....honestly.Raj is acting like a jerk too

So tru .... Sari ... I think they should have faith in their son's choice... after all they consider themselves educated and are a modern family ..... Poor Sanjay .... they are not even allowing him to speak out what is in his mind....

And Raj ... ...... he is acting high and mighty tooo..... dismissing S feelings for N as a cursh ........ I'm certain its going to take all of Kranti's ingenuity to get Raj support SN ........
