The verbal battle between Nirmal's mother and Sanjay's family was gr8 to watch.đ K's mami was the battleaxe to the forefront. When Sanjay's mother made derogatory remarks about Nirmal's family background, N's mother does not mince words and let her have it. Wow! the two ladies were going thro a wrestling match. What I don't understand is , -- hadn't S's parents approved of Nirmal before? After all they had allowed S to go and visit her with marriage in mind. So why the turnabout suddenly?đ˛ Poor S! A strong stubborn mother and a shrew mother-n-law to be!! And Nirmal is so docile!
Another point - why had Mamiji taken K with her? Was K acting as her bodyguard? đ K is not a senior member of the family for this type of a showdown. Mami could have taken her husband.
I am actually appalled to hear time and again thro various serials, this thing about status distinction.đđź Dialogues like 'Do takke ke log,------- 'in middle class log' etc make my ears burn. đ Most viewers I am sure loathe these words.
