Just be grateful that MICHI are not going to fall prey to dirty affairs and one night stands and rapes and illegitimate children!!!!!!
However, it IS a long-running soap, and such separations are inevitable!
Guess I am just focussing on the good part, like my doll getting a makeover! hehe
Kitty it is this attitutde of ours that is getting these creatives brazen. Yes, you cant have the cake and eat it too. That applies to the creatives, not us. After all that is what they have been doing all these months - keeping Michi separated for long and still having Michians hooked to the show. This cannot go on forever. There would be a breaking point for the Michians too. Why should we be grateful that Michi don't fall prey to dirty affairs? If they had any intention of showing us that, we would have been long gone. So they are not showing such stupid things, not because of any great love for us or for Michi, but purely because they know which side their bread is buttered. So let us not give them more credit than is due. They are no masters who can keep pulling at our heart strings.
It is a long running soap but that does not mean it has to be about separation and reunion of Michi. This shows how devoid of ideas they are. For once let them take a track to its logical conclusion before throwing the next boulder at the Michians. There are so many incomplete tracks. Inder murder mystery, Alaap's plans to usurp Milsi's wealth, Ranvir's animosity towards Milind and the mystery behind it, Ranvir-Soumya love story, Suki-Saket relationship and future of Ritwik, a wasted opportunity to show a parallel Neesha track. The list can go on. These are only those ideas which the creatives themselves started but felt too lazy to finish. There are several others which can be thought of and explored. Michi can stay and fight things together. Misunderstandings can be shown as happens with any married couple but nothing that cant be sorted out in a few episodes - like they showed in the Milsi's attacker track. There have been examples of serials which have kept the lead together for years and still made the serial sufficiently dramatic to keep the viewer's interest - Kumkum and Saath Phere for instance.
Focusing only on Prachi's makeover leaving aside the heartaches that the separation of a 3 year old from his/her father and vice-versa is like missing the trees for the wood. Knowing BT I have not much faith in this makeover. Just having Prachi wear stylish clothing does not alone constitute a makeover. She needs to be shown bold enough to face and challenge that PPP if she is still around after the leap. She should be smart enough to beat her in her own game. I cant bear to see a gloating PPP post leap. There is only so much negativity this show can handle. There is no point blaming the forum for its negativity if that is what the viewers are forced to put up with in the show because of the laziness of the creatives.
