The premiere of Prakash Jha's Apaharan at the International Film Festival of India, recently underway in Goa, turned out to be a stormy affair. Bipasha Basu, Ajay Devgan and Prakash Jha were to be present at the premiere. But as usual, the stars took their sweet time and arrived 40 minutes late for the screening. The unforgiving festival audience did not take kindly to this Bollywood Standard Time appearance. As soon as Bipasha, Ajay Devgan and Prakash Jha entered the venue, the crowd started booing them. As a result, the presentation that was planned before the screening had to be cancelled. Ajay Devgan however, did manage to squeeze in an apology for the delay after which the screening started. But barely had the titles rolled when four people at the venue were caught capturing the film on their video cameras. Police had to intervene to sort out the matter and only then could the screening proceed. While the film had a bad start at the festival, here is hoping that the masses like the film when it releases on 2nd December.
