It's becoming a trend. First it was Hiten Tejwani and wife Gauri Pradhan and then Ram Kapoor and Gautami Gadgill. More and more TV actors are now keen to work with their spouses or love interests. Apart from the comfort and chemistry, it also gives them enough time to spend with their partners.

The buzz is that Nach Baliye winner Sanjeeda Sheikh has joined beau Aamir Ali for the Kya Dil Mein Hai on 9X. After her exit from Kayamath, Sanjeeda was asked to allot dates for yet another show. "That's when she requested the concerned people to cast her in the same show as Aamir," says a Bajali source.

"I'm playing Naina Oberoi in the show and trust me its very exciting," she chirps. However this excitement is also because she gets to share the screen with her off screen boyfriend. "That's icing on the cake," she laughs. The actor rebuffs the allegation about her asking for the role. "I don't have to do all that. I spend enough time with Aamir otherwise too. But I saw no reason to turn it down when the offer came my way," she smiles.

This is a case of having your cake and eating it too.
