John drops by to meet Abhi and wish him luck for his tour

Karan Johar has introduced a new 'couple' in B-Town — John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan. The two actors who've come together for Dostana have bonded big time. So much so that John dropped in to wish Abhishek luck before the New York show of the Unforgettables tour.
Friendly gesture
When John, who is in NY for a Yash Raj film, heard that Abhishek was performing there, he dropped in to meet him. Says a source, "John wished him luck. It was just a friendly gesture."
A filmwallah explains the bonding between the two stars, "Bipasha Basu and Abhishek became friends after working together in Zameen. When Bips walked out of The Unforgettables tour, the Bachchans were upset but Abhishek took the matter up with his 'pa' and sorted out the situation. Later, Abhishek and John broke the ice during the shooting of Dostana. First, Abhishek was joined by Ash on their first wedding anniversary and then Bipasha dropped in to keep John company as she got a break for three days. The two couples got along well and even partied together several times."
Abhishek Bachchan tells us from London, "John happened to be in New York so he came to wish us luck for the Unforgettable Tour. It's always good to know that you have the support of your friends from the industry and your efforts are being recognised."
