I don't think their personalities got swapped. They are still same people..Riddhima was always passionate about people she loved. Be it her family or friends. Before she wasn't so sure about her relationship with Armaan. She always questioned everything in their relationship and that's why she didn't want to tell anyone and now she is at the point that she doesn't doubt their relationship anymore and that shows in her actions. Before only Armaan invested everything in their relationship and now she is 100% with him.

I wouldn't blame Armaan for not wanting tell Shashank. He isn't in good books with Shashank and his relationship with Shashank isn't great lately, so as any other guy he also wants to get in good books with his future father in-law before disclosing their relationship.
