As soon as the guests leave Dadi-sa starts her screaming saying that all these words are of his wife. He has given her too much freedom and thats the reason she is interfering in all the decisions. And Bhairon (Jag's Dad) argues that being girl's mother she has full right to decide bout her future. They have an example of Jamuna infront of them and dont want Saguna to go thru the same thing. And requests Dadi-sa to give them full right to taking decision for their own kids as Dadi-sa is taking for them.

Here in Anandi's village some festival is going on wherein married women fast for their husband and Anandi and her best friend Phuli are also performing the same. Then comes the bad news that Phuli's husband is no more. and then what happens cannot be explained in words. Ladies get around phuli for removing the jewels and all and poor child was not even aware as what is happening to her. Her mom keeps cursing her that with what bad luck she was born. Phuli gets restless while the ladies break her bangles one-by-one, removing her sindoor.

Anandi's negative thinking mom visualizes her own daughter in this state and runs back to her home with Anandi and starts pressurizing her dad to send Anandi to her in-laws. He argues that she is just over-reacting on this whole issue and not to think bad bout her own daughter. But the lady was not ready to listen to any sort of explanations and just wanted to send Anandi to her in-laws so that they are free from their responsibilities. then whatever good or bad happens they are not concerned. And finally she puts a condition infront of him by saying that if he doesn't go to Anandi's in-laws to talk bout her Gauna, he wud see her dead face. And poor guy leave for Jag's house.

Jag's Dadi-sa gets aside from this discussion saying that she dont want to interfere in this matter as it is bout Bhairon's son. so its better they both decide on their own.
