Reportedly Salman doesn't want Katrina Kaif to work with Akshay Kumar. Will his wish stop the hit pair from going ahead? Buzz is Vipul Shah is already planning another Akshay-Kat film

It's a classic conflict between professional and personal commitment. Katrina's relationship with Salman Khan, already under a cloud because of his unpredictable ways, now gets another jolt. Reason? Her successful on-screen jodi with Akshay Kumar is giving Salman heartache and sleepless nights.

While Salman's own partnership with heroines like Preity Zinta and Priyanka Chopra have failed, the Akshay-Katrina pair has just delivered its third hit in a row.

Distributors now see them as the Dharmendra-Hema, Shah Rukh-Kajol kind of cracker-jack pair. Projects with them are being lapped up even before announcement.

And if the trade buzz is to be believed, Vipul Shah who's close friends with both Akshay and Katrina is already planning to cast the dhamaka jodi together again in a film to be made in early 2009.

There's just one problem in this perfect set-up. Salman Khan. According to sources Salman just can't bear to see Katrina being paired with Akshay.

Says a source, "The kind of blockbuster pairing that Katrina has formed with Akshay is just what Salman had hoped to establish with his girlfriend, so he could keep a check on her both professionally and personally.

But that didn't happen. Far from working with Salman, Katrina won't even be in the sequel to Partner.

On the other hand she's made public declarations of Akshay's fantastic script sense and how following him into projects almost blindly is not a bad idea at all."

With the box-office giving the Akshay-Katrina pair a warm and enduring welcome it's unlikely that she would want to sacrifice her career advantage (Akshay) for her personal life.

Doesn't give her much choice, does it?

i don't think Sallu is insecure, its just media spreading rumors.AkkiKat makes a gr888 pair and i wud love to see them again and again.SIK totally rocked.

hmmm in his interview Salman clearly said ...Kat can work wid anyone ...be it Akshay (he evn said dey look gud 2gether), John , SRK ...but he does not want her 2 work wid Vivek
