I'm sitting here, sniffing and coughing, my brain fuzzy after I stuffed myself with flu tablets in an effort to get out of bed and come to work……..stupid workload ……stupid month-end. So I don't have much hope of this making much sense. But none the less, I'm posting, because being online today, is the only sane thing in this madness……If I have to come to work while I'm ill, then I will darn well log onto I-F!!!!


As I'm not feeling my normal self, no deep analysis per say, just a rundown of what happened from my point of view. Just to get it out, over and done with, so I can get ready for tonight's episode.


Yesterday's episode, except for the last scene was in one word……Y-A-W-N!!!!!! What a miserable episode compared to the fireworks and bombshells that were revealed on Monday. Once again, the KYPH writers missed out on a grand opportunity to go a different way, sweeping the residual effects of Monday under their now famous carpet. Humph!!!! Why am I not surprised??


So we have Kripa walking the hallowed halls of the local jail, a point to note…….it was the same jail cell, the same section of the jail that she walked that faithful day, when she turned her back on an innocent Angad. Anyways, she comes up to Prithvi who has his best lost puppy dog look on his face, and apologies to all Prithvi fans, that ain't gonna cut it with me…..he can have all the "I have been wronged" speeches and all the woe-begotten looks down pat, but I will still come back to this one point: DUDE YOU KILLED JOSH!!! And was willing to send an innocent man to jail for your crime!!!.....but I digress.


We have Prithvi proclaiming his innocence…..YA RIGHT!!! and Kripa once again pledging her faith in him, telling him that she knows that she believes him, and that she knows that he is not capable of committing a crime……and that's when my throat lozenges had to work double overtime, because my poor already hoarse throat was put to use once again as I yelled: WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE THE SAME FAITH IN THE MAN YOU LOVED!!! YOU FOOLISH WOMAN!!!


WAKE UP LADY! HELLO!!!! ………..Kripa my dear, you are in for a very rude awakening!! Let's see what happens to your faith in your "Husband" then!!!


Carrying on, the jailer comes to release Prithvi and is told that his "well wisher" Mr Zaib---surprise surprise (I love how they say that…..Mr Zaib) has smoothened things over with the police to get Prithvi out of jail, which had Prithvi all but willing to fall at Zaib's feet in gratitude for his help……o.k, so this part I liked!!!! Anything where Prithvi has to grovel or be indebted to Angad, makes me a very happy woman.


Mishty and Damini are eternally grateful to Zaib, and Zaib being the perfect gentleman and gracious savior of the day, says that your family is my family and "I'll always be there for you"…..ummm……he does seem to be throwing those words around like they are candy……….I can only hope that he really meant it for Kripa and Kripa only. Kripa, who never seems to waste an opportunity to be close to her beloved Angad, decides to thank him personally for the boon he has bestowed upon her parivaar.


Zaib on the other hand, has gone soft on Kripa by instructing his co-conspirator to destroy all evidence that they forged in regards to Pritvi's criminal activities, while he does the same on his end……Zaib takes a lighter to the documents……what's with ZAngad and the fire fetish that he has going on???.......BTW, did you notice how Fuming he was, when burning those docs, heck, he was angry enough to fling them away in disgust, leaving in a huff, not even seeing that they didn't burn to ashes.……his well laid plans to send Prithvi up the river going up in flames (Pardon the pun)……….Awww, Hon, don't worry, there are criminal activities involving Prithvi that need no forged documents and those will surface soon enough.


Here's what I don't get though……….Angad was shrewd enough in his plans to become Zaib, and he did so successfully. He has all and sunder believing that he ain't Angad, yet when it comes to burning such incriminating evidence of his involvement in Prithvi being arrested, he does so in such a blas manner…….he doesn't even make an effort to see that all the evidence was properly destroyed!!!........Anyways, Kripa finds said documents, and they have her pondering as to why she thought that for once he did something good for someone else.


The ever grateful Prithvi arranges dinner at his club (HUH???)……since when does Prithvi own a club? I thought he was into event management. Oh well, the logic of Ekta's world,…….the guest of honor being Zaib. I just loved how Zaib oh-so-casually told Prithvi that he didn't want to help him out of this problem, only to cover all his bases by saying, as family, he wants to help Prithvi out of all problems and offers to sign a contract to do shows with Prithvi's company………Another point comes to mind………didn't Zaib already sign a contract with Kripa Management Company, I do remember him and Karthik discussing it, after Zaib roo-roo'ed with Mishty in Karthik's car, and Prithvi did have a "business" dinner with him to discuss the finer details, after all, isn't that what Prithvi told Karthik when he questioned Mishty for being out with Zaib: "She was at a business dinner"………now what possible reason is there for another contract to be signed when the guy is already contracted to perform for you??? Even through my drugged up brain could I think of this. GET IT RIGHT, PEOPLE!!!


This is where I went into dreamland, being slightly knocked out by the pills, and let me share my dream with you……while Mishty and Prithvi were playing the fawning twins with Zaib,.....Angad and Kripa, who were having their own silent conversations with their eyes, were busy playing footsies under the table……then my brother walked into the room and my eyes opened to see that nothing that interesting had even taken place….Sigh!!!......if only!!!


Kripa once again feels the need to feast her eyes on Angad, goes to his crib only to find him with his speech therapist, Zaib in a quandary as to what to do about his voice reverting back to the sexy Angad baritone, she confronts him after said therapist leaves, wishing him all the best for his shows, but like Nitu said, they were all saccharine sweet words on the surface, but bubbling with sarcasm. After another verbal battle, Kripa leaves vowing to get Angad to sing in his natural voice. I don't know about you guys, but to me, Angad's heart wasn't in it yesterday during this scene. He had gone a bit soft after the bombshell that Prithvi so unknowingly dropped and seeing her for the fist time after that night, caught him unprepared……though, not to say he didn't put up a fight, he retaliated to her sarcasm by leaving her once again staring at his back after telling her that he's going to call Mishty.


Umm…...I kinda like Angad's singing voice, if the Dumb Charades was any indication of Zaib's voice, then it's too squeaky and not manly enough for Angad…..so on this front, I stand with Kripa in getting Zaib to sing in his natural voice.


Angad and his consultant go for supper at the Bose house…….Before I carry on……………..Angad was looking mighty FIIIINNNEEEEE!!!!!!! In full black…………..Black jeans, black t-shirt…..YUMMY!!! He certainly gave my…..ahem…..muddled brain a wake up call in that outfit. Phew!!!


So anyways, it's suggested that Kripa do promotions with Angad to give the concerts more publicity and Kripa refuses, which gets Mishty started on her as to why she's so selfish, why can't she make an effort where they are all working so hard to make the show a success…..My, my………..did you see the look in Angad's eyes while Mishty was going on with her tirade!!!! The man was sure was getting irritated with her!!! Heck, if she had Kripa not left the room, I don't think he would have been able to stop himself from telling Mishty to shut-up!!! After all, he and only he has the exclusive rights to talk to Kripa that way, only he has the rights to taunt Kripa and do what he pleases with her, and rightly so, as he has sole ownership rights to her.


Anyways…….Prithvi tells Kripa that its alright, that he has 70% of the finance………which brings forth another point……….isn't Prithvi in partnership with Karthik??? So what has happened with this partnership??? Will Karthik be so forgiving as to easily move on with business as usual after being humiliated by Mishty and Zaib. He hates Zaib, so will he put aside his hatred to finance Zaib's concert??? So many questions and no-one in Ekta's team willing to answer them. Sigh!!!


Kripa reluctantly agrees to do the promo's. Mishty, being all sarcastic again by stating how grateful they are for her assistance, goes off to make coffee for Zaib……..haila, being engaged has sure made her domesticated…..I've never heard or seen her in the kitchen before this, Prithvi, like Taniya said, who cares where he slithered off to.


Skipping forward to the final scene which was the only worthy moment of the day. A final confrontation between Angad and Kripa. Kripa trying her best to ignore the self satisfied look on Angad's face moves away and Angad, gleefully runs behind the pillars to halt her on the other end. That smile on his face was so good to see, though fleeting, as he ran behind the pillar, he looked carefree and happy at the upcoming confrontation. He mocks her about doing anything for her husband, and as expected, she gets riled up like a porcupine on speed, and stand up to him for once (Yippeee!!! It's a bout time gurl), which leads him to challenge her by saying come hell or high water she WILL sing with him and that's that.

Hmmmm....I'm seem to have been over the place today, I do apologise.
