What if a guy proposes....he says he really loves you...he says that he truly cares for you...and he really means it... What if a girl doesn't feel love for him....and she only cares for him as a good friend and a co-worker...she is concentrating in her career right now...and just isn't in love....
Is anyone at fault? Is anyone REALLY wrong??
I've noticed that everyone sympathizes with Atul and his heartbreak...I also do feel for Atul, but I also COMPLETELY understand and agree with ANJALI...I think she gave one of the best answers for someone, who didn't feel the same way for the guy.
Why I say that...?
Anjali has never led Atul on....Anjali has never really liked or loved anyone else either. Just because a guy is completely in love with you doesn't mean you should also be in love with him...I think this has to be one of the BEST scenes/situations of DMG...it had so much depth and sense in it, which is just NEVER seen in DMG anymore. This situation didn't come out of nowhere...it was building up...yes we all thought AA would make a cute couple and were craving for more scenes between AA. For everyone, who thought that Anjali's character wasn't the same anymore this scene should've proven them wrong. Anjali's expressions and dialouge depicted her care for a friend and also utmost care for her main priority in life--her career.
I do feel deeply for Atul and am said that his first love turned him down...but I can completely understand Anjali...Anjali depicted the awkwardness that a girl not in love faces when a guy proposes to her...there was no scope for a hug or for anything else because that's not how Anjali is with Atul. She is polite and friendly, but not flirty. She said that Atul is a decent guy, but she just doesn't feel anything for him in that way. She told him he's a strong guy and she'll see him because she has to go to Delhi...I don't know if anything better than this could be said by her...such simple lines, which expressed care and awkwardness all at the same time!
I could go on and on...but I just want to point out that what Anjali did is what any sensible & kind-hearted girl, who is just not in love would do. 😳

thank you Hira!!! I'm certainly glad to see you understand Anjie...I also think they will end up together because she will probably fall in love with him later...but I agree with you that "everyone has their own way of living!"
Well said!

Hi Shweta,
Well Said and I completely agree.
The situation was handled very sensibly and softly. This is the best way to tackle with awkwardness I believe.
anjie did the right thing.

the scene was very realistic and i guess one of the best scenes of atul wich proved his talent as a serious actor too rather than jus a comedian...

I Agree Completely.. Though i do feel bad for Atul but Anjali has a point..
She cannot just Start Loving Atul bcoz he loves her. It shud be true love not Forced.. She really explained it sweetly to Atul.. She cares for him but as a Gud Friend but not more than tht!.. I Loved her way of making him understand.. She did feel awkward..anyone wud!

Agreed!

Though I felt bad for Atul, I understood Anjali completely...and am thankful to her that she didnt make a scene and was sympathetic too!

We cant blame Anjali...its just that Atul loved her but she only cared for him as a friend and was sympathetic and not horrible!

She rejected him very nicely and was not at all horrible....
