i really hope this movie shows sikhs in a good way instead of loud-mouthed doofuses....since i am form Punjab myself...i agree comedy is good once in a while but not everytime you have a punjabi character in a movie..
i am going to go see it soon soo i will decide then whether it was worth the watch...plus it looks very entertaining and i hope its a super-hit!

i saw the movie.....really it has nothing to do with the sikh community religion wise....even if it was on the tamil community, or chinese community...it wud be the same thing, just without turbans and the punjabiness....they are just punjabi characters and thas it....no hard core mention of religion or nething....itz just about making peace and being kind to everyone......which is in every single religion lolll

@ vishram--no offense or anything, but from my standpoint, the movie wasn't humorous at all..it was stupid and really stereotypical

Okay, you guys I just watched the movie and all I have to say is do watch it. Its a comedy, entertainer. And akshay and teh whole cast has done an awesome job!
Really, the whole theatre was clapping loudly. Andit was a 11 am show on sunday morning 😳 andthe theatres was more then half full. I was pretty surprised myself, cause I had to go somewhere in the evening bt i had to watch it
anyways refering to the article, these people need to stop and think of what they are doing. Seriously, sikhs have been protrayed so badly before, and this movie did try its best to move to the right direction
and I know some may be thinking that all the sardars dunt even have perfect dharieees(beards etc) however wait till the end
and in a interview Akshay had already stated that in the end you see the real meaning. I enjoyed the movie lots.
