I just watched the 7th Aug epi.....Atul's proposal to Anjali was one of the most beautifully done scenes in DMG after a long time. That scene was almost everything that AA scenes COULD have been till now in this show....instead of all the pathetic scenes of Atul running around like Anjali's lapdog....

The scene was top notch in every single department....from writing to the acting....and for a change, AA got new bg music which was very apt for the scene.

Just the way Atul looked at her throughout the scene....it truly was heartbreaking...for the very first time in their relationship, I could see a hint of depth...a lot of depth...their eyes spoke to each other in that scene....Atul's full of love, then hurt at the final realization that Angie doesn't love him....and Angie's eyes initially trying to laugh off the entire thing as a joke....then gradually...for the very first time...realizing the depth of Atul's feelings for her....oh it was so beautifully enacted by Sunaina👏👏👏....She is just luminous on the screen! Truly a wonderful actress whom I'm expecting to go a long way!

And 👏 for Pankit as well....The man has never really gotten his due on this show....but scenes like this prove time and again what he could truly do if given a good scene to enact....Atul's proposal was simple yet so heartfelt...just so perfectly done...they both finally get thru to each other for the very first time...Angie in realizing that he really DOES love her, and Atul in realizing that she DOESN'T....and that was just so heartbreaking to watch.

I don't know how the creatives intend to take the AA storyline from here, if anywhere at all....but this AA scene was landmark....I think the best scene between them, ever.

Personally .... I thought Pankit was EXCELLENT👏👏!!! He was exactly what he is as the sensitive and totally in love with Angie..Atul!!! Brilliant acting... Wish we can see more of him that way!!
Angie was good too....but Pankit took the cake away....definately (for me!)!!!!!!!!!!

@Veenz: Yeap, Atul took the cake away for me too.......I wish we get more of scenes like those between all couples...(Not Heartbreaking of course......HAPPY ONES)

@dmg07: Veena, right? Thanks for the reply!😊

I agree, Pankit was excellent in that scene👍🏼.....but I thought Sunaina enacted Angie's response very beautifully as well....they both matched each other very well in that scene....the heart would always go out to Pankit/Atul more cuz he was the one being rejected in that scene.

Anu,
My god, I love how you always tend to say exactly what I'm feeling when it comes to AA...
When I watched the scene for the first time (I've seen it countless times since then) I was literally frozen. I couldn't do anything except watch the expressions on both Pankit and Sunaina's faces...And that BG music was so beautiful. It only enhanced the scene further.
It just dawned on me today that Pankit didn't say anything once Sunaina started talking about how Anjali felt to have Atul as a good friend...He just nodded towards the end...The immense pain that Atul must have felt was clearly communicated through Pankit's expressions.
There was truly a connection in that moment when Anjali turned to him, looking skeptical, and then saw that he really truly meant what he was saying from the bottom of his heart...And from that point onward, she was a little less confident in her manner of speaking than she usually is.
But like you said, their eyes literally spoke to each other. And it's always been that way with PaNa - they've always managed to shine with those little subtle nuances that they've incorporated into Atul and Anjali's characters. It's just so so sad that such amazing actors playing unique characters haven't been given the storyline to go to new heights. That's something that I'll always regret...
IMMENSE applause to Pankit and Sunaina for giving us such a beautiful scene after so long! Individually and as a pair, they truly do light up the screen.

Thanks, Shal😊......AA have only had a handful of truly good scenes which can be cherished, and this was the best out of all.....Atul was not a champu, he mainained his dignity while talking to her and still managed to be the simple sweet guy he is....the original Atul if I may say.....

pankit is a very gud actor n so r the other interns too. if given sum scenes were they can show their prowess dmg wil rock. the king hopes pankit wil not leave the show n atleast now the writers ake up frm AR trance n give AA n RM sum worthy scenes. off late the king juzz feels like fast forwarding the AR scenes but alas if he does tht there wont b anything 2 watch.

as the king said earlier the premise of the story has changed frm whn it started. it started off as a story of 5 interns but later it changed 2 luv story of AR. now the logical conclusion 4 dmg is AR marriage. u may ask if marriage is th end cant they show AR as a married couple. but thn they wud b forced 2 bring a saas-bahu angle in2 it. which wud ruin it.

due to this bleak premise the writers r forced 2 go round n round in circles Ar patch-up then break-up agn patch-up n break-up. if the other stories r also developed it wil not make viewers monotonous wid a fixed formula s shown now. atleast 1 song n dance every week, a picnic eevry 2nd week. 1 loooooooooooooooog stare every epi. if focus shifts on other jodis too wid scenes like anu said it wud b more interesting.

Anu, Bornaaaaaaaaaaa🤗🤗 Would you believe it?? I was just thinking of you when I finished watching that scene....and what you must have thought about it too!!

My god, I love how you always tend to say exactly what I'm feeling when it comes to AA...That's cuz there's so few of us die hard AA fans left yaar!😉😆 We have our own little telepathy going here😉😆

Totally agree....goes to show how much good bg music can enhance a scene!

I know!!!! It just broke my heart yaar! And THAT is where this scene truly scaled new heights....just the way they showed Atul's reaction to her saying no.....just brilliantly done!
There was truly a connection in that moment when Anjali turned to him, looking skeptical, and then saw that he really truly meant what he was saying from the bottom of his heart...And from that point onward, she was a little less confident in her manner of speaking than she usually is. Exactly!! Anjali realized for the very first time how MUCH he truly cared....she had never taken this seriously before..

Someone just posted pics....and I swear, they break my heart even more...Look at where it goes from....

I saved all those pics! 😊 😳 And once again, the way you can read their emotions is simply mindblowing! I can understand what Pankit meant soooo much better now! That transition I mentioned earlier...It was paralleled by a change in Anjali's expressions, too. It was like an off-the-cuff reaction. She was trying so hard to stay indifferent, but by the end of the scene, she looked like she was nervous, like she knew she'd hurt him and didn't want to risk wounding him even more... 😕 (Am I reading too much into her expressions again, Anu? I tend to do that, as you know!)
