Doesnt matter if she is dark or not but why she always live in tht dirty dressing n style tht irritate me a lott

I cant believe that it matters what colour someone is ... i mean surely there are other things in life that are more important. I seriously dont understand why being dark is an issue, its obviously something that the media has sensationalised, but doesnt mean because she is dark she isnt pretty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I appreciate its a tv serial, and most probably a reflection on life in certain subcontinents, but really upsets me, to see someone suffer just because of their outer appearances.

Saloni is not that dark but like others have said they just apply a darker brown colour to her skin to make her look dark. Now they have started to apply makeup to her and she looks really pretty. Producers just use this trick to make people think she is ugly. They did the same thing for Jassi Jaisi koi nahin. Jassi was not very pretty in the first few episodes but later on they started applying makeup, etc and she didn't look bad.

u coulda atleast said they applied a bronzer to her face, I don't think they applied black to her face though.

well although Saloni is darker than everyone else in her house..she isn't that dark if you look...i really don't why everyone in that show makes a big deal about it...i have many friends who are very dark than me...but that's not what we talk about..there is more than just the color of your skin...
sry if i said too much or offened any one..
