Mumbai, Aug 05: He might be spoiled for choice as he romances three hot chicks in 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', but there is just one lady that holds a special place in Ranbir's life and it's not Deepika Padukone.

Well don't go far, it's the actors' first onscreen love, Sonam Kapoor. Contrary to popular reports and speculations, that the two have fallen apart and are not even in talking terms we are told otherwise.

According to our sources, Ranbir and Sonam's relationship is very much live and kicking and the two often catch up. Although, they are not as close as they use to be, and Deepika is not the reason behind their 'supposed cold war'.

The fact of the matter is that post 'Saawariya' their careers have picked up a fast pace, busy with their respective projects they find less little time to spend together.

In case you are still unconvinced, here is what the actor said in an interview to a news daily, "Sonam will be always special to me. I can't tell you the degree of love I have for her. I have shared my initial days of acting with her. We have shared our fears, our sad and happy moments. There will never be any friction between us. There was a time when we were a part of each other's daily lives. But then you move on, do different films."

So there you have it, right from the horse's mouth. Hopefully that should end the endless gossip doing rounds about the two's supposed enmity
