He is similar to JV in the sense that it seemed like JV ran the country whilst AV didn't even have a clue whats happening in his own kingdom. By constantly putting his own ideas on how to run the royal matters, isn't Dharam gradually stepping into JV shoes?

I agree with u that dharam has grey shades but who hasn't.Nivriti,pari,sakshi,aryavardan,even shera too hv grey shades so can u call all of them the villains of the show. 😕 That's why this show is different frm d saas bahu shows.
And yes,dharam has tried to put his life in danger to save his father.U forgot,when dharam was accused of killing agni,av decided to quit his job as a king then dharam admitted he killed agni even if he didn't kill him.He was going to be hanged for this.That was the biggest sacrifice he had done for his father.
How can u compare him with jv yaar?JV hated AV all his life b'coz the rajya sabha chose him as the king instead of jv.He tried to kill av twice.Not only that what fault has nivriti done,he even tried to kill her too.U know how much he hates dv.Do u think will dharam do such wicked things?Dharam gave his throne(which was his birth right)to veer b"coz he felt veer deserves to be the king more than himself.By doing this,he proved that he is not selfish and is a king and just person.
JV can never do those things which dharam has done and dharam can never do those things which jv has done.
