5^th August Written Update

Ganga is at Shakuntala's house and is giving her medicine, and then gives her a juice! She tells the servant that there should be nothing missing in her caring! She gives her some instructions – give medicine at 7.00 and then juice and then breakfast, the same should be done in the afternoon and evening, and it should be light food! Shakuntala says she doesn't need Radhabai's (the servant) caring for her, she tells Ganga that sees her in the morning and she fells alright, seeing one glance of her is the real medicine! Ganga says not to worry you will get that medicine (points at the tablets) and this medicine (and points to herself)! Ganga says she has to go as it's really late and leaves! Shakuntala thinks to herself that once Rahul comes he will get him to talk to Jhanvi and then he will make them one for life!

At Bhatiya house!

All are sitting on the sofa! Bua tells a pandit to get a date quickly for the wedding quickly they cannot wait anymore (Saagar shocked, while everyone else smiles) the pandit is working something out and tells them that it looks like the planets want you to wait (everyone looks worried) the pandit says that according to the planets in both their horoscopes there is no chance for a long time! (everyone shocked) Bua says what are you saying, she goes to Shubodh that this is all considered blind faith, if you believe then it's God, if you don't believe it's rock! Puttan agrees with Bua! Shubodh asks the pandit with he thinks! The Pandit says if this is what you all want then we can do a puja for the peace of the planets, then you can have the wedding when you want (Saagar looks worried, while everyone else looks pleased) Shubodh says to the pandit that if you think this that we shouldn't delay! (Kaveri is smiling at Saagar) Shubodh says we will do the sagaai (engagement) tomorrow and 3 days later Saagar's wedding on Sunday! (Saagar is shocked and clasps his hands together, Bua and Puttan grinning, Kaveri is happy) Shubodh asks Shanta is this is oay she nods! Shubodh tells the pandit we will make the arrangements and then inform you! The pandit says definitely and leaves! Bua says ramji bhala kare the engagement will be done tomorrow and the wedding in the same week! (Saagar shocked) Bua keeps rubbing her nose in and Puttan joins her! Shanta asks Kaveri is its okay, Kaveri says that what you lot think right, she continues that after Papa has gone the wedding should be done with simplicity, what is the need for an engagement! Shubdoh says so what is Papa isn't there, we are here, and Khurana uncle would want his darling daughter's wedding to be done with dhoom dhaam, and it's our brother-in-law's wedding we don't want anything to be missing (Saagar gives a faint smile and Kaveri also smiles)

Ganga comes home (Saagar is shocked and everyone looks over at her) Shanta goes up to her and says that I have some good news for you, Saagar and Kaveri's wedding has been set, the engagement tomorrow and 3 days later the wedding (Ganga looks at Saagar and both look worried) Shanta takes Ganga to the sofa area, Ganga hugs Kaveri (Saagar shocked) and says that she is very happy for her, truly, your world is going to be settled (and she looks over at Saagar)! They sit and Shubodh says you would be happy she is you sister, but it won't do with you being just happy, we have little time and we have to a lot of work, we are from the girl's side! Shanta says the girl's side? Shubodh says that my relation with Jhanvi is also with Kaveri, I will give her away with my own hands, the happiness you get from your mother's house we will give to you, by being her brother! (Saagar and Ganga look at each other)! Shubodh asks Shanta if she made the arrangements for sweets, Shanta says she will order some now, Shubodh says order some now? He says we will sweeten our mouth with halwa made by Jhanvi, and asks her if that's okay! Shanta says why are you troubling her!

The video went a bit dodgy from here – I think Ganga says that its no trouble and she makes her way to the kitchen and Saagar must follow her!

Ganga's in the kitchen making the halwa, when Saagar comes, he looks behind him to see if anyone is there!

Saagar: did you hear? Tomorrow is my engagement with Kaveri and three days later our wedding!

Ganga: I heard! And I saw the happiness that was flowing out of everyone's eyes when they heard this news! (She is avoiding eye contact and mixing something)

Saagar: but tears were flowing out of your eyes, which no one saw but I felt! Ganga are you happy with this wedding? Speak Ganga! For how long will you pretend to be happy Ganga!

Ganga: (still mixing and avoids eye contact, she gives a forced smile) it not like that, I am really actually happy (Saagar shocked, he grabs her arm and turns her around to face her)

Saagar: if you are really happy, then look in to my eyes once and tell me you are happy! (Ganga just stares at him) No Ganga, you are not happy (Ganga lowers her eyes) you are staying away from the arrangements for the wedding, (Ganga looks back up) by making the excuse of Shakuntala aunty's illness, you are trying to stay away from me! (Ganga lowers her eyes) it's not easy to sacrifice you happiness, it is very difficult (Ganga is looking around, with her eyes lowered, Saagar holds her by her arms) will you be able to stay happy by seeing me with Kaveri, will you be able to see your love in someone else's arms, will you be able to tolerate it?

Ganga: (still with lowered eyes) yes! (Saagar shocked, Ganga looks at him) I will tolerate it, I will tolerate everything (Saagar shocked) you know why? Because this house will always be mine, (Saagar slowly lets go of Ganga's grip) but if I give me love its result, then Kaveri did's house, her family, will be taken away from her forever (Saagar shocked) and you think I will let this happen? Did you see how happy Kaveri didi was today, and any sacrifice for her happiness cannot be wrong! And by seeing Kaveri get her love, her family, her happiness I will live each moment with happiness (Saagar shocked) that's why you will have to go far away from me (Saagar shocked) I am Kaveri didi's sister (Saagar shocked) that is my relation (Saagar shocked) and my truth (Saagar shocked)

Ganga walks away; Saagar is standing there looking worried!

Shubodh, Bua, Puttan, Ganga, Shanta and Kaveri are sitting! Shubodh says that consider the list to be done, but it isn't completed when we remember people we will add them to the list! (Everyone smiles, Saagar is coming down the stairs) Shanta says that we should get the cards printed really quickly, we don't have time! Saagar comes down, Shubodh tells him to sit down! Shubodh asks Saagar what he is thinking about, (Ganga looks uncomfortable) Shubodh says look at how he is lost in thoughts of the wedding (Kaveri smiles) Saagar says its nothing like that! (Bua looks at Puttan and signs something to him they both look at Saagar) Puttan says that he has a thought, he says that Saagar is getting worried about the things that need to be done! Bua says there is no need to worry Saagar beta, she says that Puttan is here he will handle everything! Puttan says yes that's why I came here to handle everything (everyone is shocked) He says to Saagar and Shubodh that you two don't need to worry, I will handle everything, don't worry! Shubodh says that there's all the work Saale (Puttan shocked) Saab! Puttan says very funny! Shubodh says the work has to be shared amongst everyone and done carefully! Puttan says yes they will definitely do that, whether it's the decoration, the sweets, the dishes, or the books I will look after everything! Shubodh says you are new here in the city, how will you look after everything! Bua says my son always does this stuff when it's the weddings or our relatives, he has a habit and no one can do a better job than him in those four areas!

Shubodh says if you are insisting then let him do it! (Everyone is shocked) Puttan says I will do everything; I will even look after the sums (and he looks at Bua!

Puttan and Bua are in his room and are counting money! Puttan says to Bua that she done a good job by giving her this job! He tells her that some of the money will go towards the things and the other 10,000 will go towards me for commission! Bua and Puttan are laughing! Bua says that you must remember that our actual mission is to get the wealth of this property! She tells him to carry his small stunts but no one should find out about this! Puttan says that he will consider these stunts that even an accountant's child won't be able to figure out what's wrong in the sums! Bua says you carry on these stunts and I will go and see if Shanta has got my juice! She goes away! Alka appears at the door! Puttan is on the bed counting! Alka walks in the room and tells him she wants to say something! Puttan says what, Alka is stuttering and Puttan says rudely to say what it is! Alka says that we are guests in this house and to do these mistakes in the accounts… Puttan is shocked and says that now you will tell us what is right and wrong! You eavesdrop and then try to teach, I need to show your place (he goes to slap her) …. Stop bhaiya! (Puttan shocked) Ganga is at the door and stops him! Ganga asks what he is doing! Puttan says that this is a husband-wife private matter! Ganga says until you raised you hand it was a private matter but once you raised your hand it is my responsibility to stop you! Ganga says she will have to say sorry! Puttan says has your mind gone……. And stops! He says that Alka made a mistake so y should I apologise! Ganga asks Alka what mistake she made! Alka says jeee… and is stuttering, Puttan is shaking his head at her! Ganga walks over to her ans says don't be scared, no one will say anything to you, tell me! Puttan thinks that what if this stupid wife told her everything! Ganga is asking Alka, Puttan says Jhanvi bhaujai, you are saying right, it was my mistake, I ask for forgiveness from both of you! Ganga smiles at Alka and walks off! Puttan thinks that you have assaulted me in front of Alka, Jhanvi bhaujai, but now its your turn and I will definitely stand you up, I will revenge this embarrassment, and I will do it to any extent and at any cost! The episode ends on his determined face!

Saagar and Kaveri's wedding has been decided, i wonder if Saagar lets it go ahead! today was also a emotional episode, especially the scene in the kitchen between Saagar and Ganga! Bua and Puttan have started their chaal, so more trouble has started for Ganga! the relationship between Ganga and Alka has also seemed to make a start, since Ganga stood up for Alka, it sems like in the next few days Alka will start opening up to her! i dont think i can bare to see Saagar and Kaveri's wedding, and i'm so not looking forward to Rahul Mehra returning, looks like by the end of the week there will be talk of Jhanvi-Rahul marriage!!
