Here Is The Update For 5th August, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
The Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
The scene picks up from Gunny and S D. S D says that Gunny looked under pressure and Gunny replies that no problems as far as he is concerned. S D side steps Gunny, to move away, pauses to say " Good Night" and gets the reciprocal response from Gunny.
Scene changes. Now all the Cadets and the faculty of three get dressed, pinning the stars, putting on the belts. All in all the few minutes are spent on showing the dressing up of those involved.
Next we have the Major General addressing Major Vaibhavi and the two Captains and announcing the short listed names of Vidya, Akrithi And Markhand for the award of Excellence in the name of Naveen Singh Alluwalliah.
Vidya and Gunny ; Akrithi and Abhimanyu; Markhand and Major Vaibhavi are shown alternately.
Gunny notices the foot injury of Vidya and enquires Vidya with regards to the injury. Vidya simply says nothing much, that she stepped accidentally on glass pieces, Gunny still is not convinced, persists with whether he could trust her with that answer. Vidya reaffirms her answer.
From now onwards the debriefing starts, from Gunny, Major Vaibhavi and Abhimanyu speaking few sentences each. Gist is that. Whatever S D had said or given them training for ought to be disregarded, forgotten, and in future they are to report any matter they feel uncomfortable with, that is S D asking them to do. Although the three Cadets feel strange they listen in as appropriate explanations are given.
Addressing the Assembled Audience Of The Cadets, Major General recalls the traditions and good record of K M A and the part played by Naveen Singh and Rajveer Singh Shekhawat in being the symbols for being excellent soldiers. That a soldier is a fighter to his last breathe and sacrifices plenty to safeguard the Country from all eventualities.
Major General has the help of flash back of Captain Rajveer's visuals, few quotes of a soldier fighting till the last breathe, his fight to go on top of the bus, Naina's hostage scenario. And till the jeep going up in flames. Naveen Singh too is recalled in this manner.
Major General also adds that Captains Rajveer and Naveen made the country proud with their bravery and deed. Also in turn the Country was proud of them.
Wall of Fame is also mentioned and whomsoever gets the Award would be an inspiration for the Future Youths coming in for their training at K M A.
Finally Names of Vidya, Akrithi and Markhand are announced to their joy. Later Major Vaibhavi adds to Major General's talk, says that because of security reasons only the selected three will go and receive the award and that all the Cadets have put in great efforts in their trainings to score good marks. Flashback of the physical trainings, are shown.
After Major Vaibhavi Leaves, the chosen three are hugged and congratulated by the remaining three.
Later Major Vaibhavi alerts and tells the two Captains to be on their toes and be watchful of S D { Major Vaibhavi corrects herself from saying "Eagle" to S D} and of S D's behaviour towards the Cadets and make sure the Circus and Jokers do not take place. She gets the positive answer.
Later in the surveillance room Gunny and Abhimanyu watch or monitor the monitors. Abhimanyu is sceptical of watching the monitor as S D would be one up on them. Gunny agrees on that count but still he opines that he keep vigil. Gunny says he is also interested in knowing as to how S D would behave with other Cadets.
Abhimanyu says that he would take a look around the other side of the common room and nearby place. And physically check on the situation.
A few minutes later Gunny confirms with Abhimanyu, over the intercom, that things are fine.
Inside the activity room the Cadets and S D meet and are once more enjoying themselves. And congratulating each other. At this point Shona notices the bleeding of Vidya foot and Peter and Markhand accompany S D and Vidya. Markhand asks the rest to enjoy themselves.
In the Dormitory S D asks Peter and Markhand to leave as she would take care of Vidya.
Markhand recalls Major Vaibhavi's debriefing and asking him to be extra careful while being with S d. This recollection was in flashback.
Reluctantly Markhand, without much choice, leaves with Peter. Peter asks Markhand why he - Markhand - is looking back. Markhand says there is no problem and they leave.
At some point in the surveillance room Major Vaibhavi and the Captains are monitoring and tells something of S D should be watched more closely and could do anything. Major Vaibhavi says that although there is lull in the proceedings and S D, Major Vaibhavi says that she is sure that S D is upto something. Something to this effect.
S D after dressing Vidya up, administers Vidya a pill, on the sly, and tells Vidya that the pill will help her. Instead Vidya feels dizzy and drowse, says so. S D says that everything would be alright and then leads Vidya on to her painful past.
Vidya being weak and dizzy lets down her guard and speaks of her past, with her being engaged to Vamsh, and his subsequent death at the hands of the terrorists, and her being attacked by someone sent by "Eagle" during the minus mode drill.
These revealing of her painful past by Vidya are in the form of flashbacks.
At this point and the Mention of "Eagle" Vidya stops and perhaps bit on the alert side.
The Episode Ends On Vidya's Face, With A Sort Of Alert Look On Vidya's Face.
