Sorry for the delay. Here is the update for Aug 1.

Aug 1 (Fri):

Episode 15

Custom's officer Rajagopal is watering his garden while his daughter sits watching and fidgeting. Rajagopal tells his daughter, she should have tried harder to get good merit points for college admission. His daughter says merit points alone are not enough as there are more things like donation. His wife to comes there and tells Rajagopal that it is their daughter's ambition to become an IPS officer and he should help her achieve it. Rajagopal tells his wife that he can easily ask a favor and will receive it, but when the person comes to collect for this favor his position as a customs officer will be jeorpadised. HE tells his daughter to hold on as there is still time for college admission. Mother also tells daughter not to worry as she will speak to her father again.

It is morning at the "Vietnam" household (Sangeetha's household), Sangeetha is preparing food in the kitchen. Witch lady, Sangeetha's MIL is in the prayer room doings prayers. Vinod int he bath room and Uma getting ready for college. First call from Vinod who asks for towel and Sangeetha goes to get it for him and tells him to take the towel with him to the bathroom next time. Uma asks Vinod if he has seen her hairbrush and Vinod says he did not and adds that he has a comb that mum bought and need not use her hairbrush as she has lice. Sangeetha tells her son not to pick fight with Uma and goes back into the kitchen to cook. MIL comes out of the prayer room looking for nei vedhyam for prayers and complains that Sangeetha had not prepared anything for that day also and she has to offer only fruits and nuts for prayers and starts saying mantras while shooting dagger looks at Sangeetha and goes back into the prayer room. Uma comes out of her room and sees Vinod's shoes and kicks it and one she goes under a table. Sangeetha is checking Vinod's school work and tells him that he needs to improve his handwriting. Vinod then says he cannot find his shoes and Sangeetha finds it and tells him to get ready. Uma comes there and asks Vinod for pocket money and is told mom did not give him any. Uma then asks for her sports attire but Grandmother tells her it has been given for ironing. Uma starts whining about being late for college and how her mother had refused to get her a 2-wheeler. Uma then asks for 100 rupees for auto fare as she will be late and Sangeetha gives it to her. Grandmother packs and gives food for school and she leaves. Sangeetha back to the kitchen. Vinod goes to the able and takes some of the offering for prayers that witch had left on the table. Witch see Vinod eating it and plans to get him into trouble with Sangeetha before he leaves for school. Vinod tells his mother he cannot find his math homework book and witch tells him that he cannot even keep his books with him but can eat the offerings she has left for God. Sangeetha gets angry and starts hitting Vinod. Witch then brings the notebook and give to Vinod and he leaves. After everyone leaves, witch sits down to eat. Sangetha comes to the table and drinks a glass of wter and gets ready to leave for work. Witch asks why she has not eaten and not even taking food for lunch. Sangeetha tells with that what Vinod did (eating the food kept for offering) was a small matter but the punishment that witch gave him was too much. Witch just looks at her. Sangeetha tells witch had packed and given food for her grandaughter but she did not pack any food for her son and he wil be starving. She tells witch she is fasting together with her son and leaves. When she walks out a man from the school comes and tells her that the principal wants to see her and leaves.

The college correspondent (Devan) is surrounded by his man and he is thinking. Ranjini is travelling in an auto and while travelling, she sees school girl walking and a white car driving fast from behind the girl. Looks like a drunk driver. Sangeetha tells the auto driver to stop and saves the girl just in time. A few people gather around Ranjini and she tells the people about the incident. She asks the girl why she did not move away but is told the girl is dea. Ranjini then tells the girl to only go out with someon and to be careful. One of the man there offers to take the girl home as she leaves near his house. In the meantime, a few man go to the auto Ranjini was driving in and leave a bundle of money in her bag and run off. Ranjini and driver return to the auto and drive off. The white car comes to the place where the man are and a guy gets down and asks if they have left the money in Ranjini's bag and is told it has been done. One of the man then calls the vigilant office and reports that Ranjini is travelling in an auto after receiving a large amount of money as bribe and disconnects. He then takes the sim card and trashes it. Ranjini is travelling and is stopped bu some officers who say they are from the vigilant office and had received a call that she had received large amount of money as bribery. They ask her to cooperate by handing over her handbag. Rajini gives her handbag and the officers open it and finf the money. Ranjini is shocked. THODARUM.

Finally, I have updated the episode. I am trully sorry for the delay. My fister's family had just returned from a 2 month vacation in Malaysia and I had gone to spend time with them. I had no time to watch and update on time.

Monday Updates Episode 16

Ranjini is stopped by the officers. They inform Ranjini about the bribe money and they will have to check on her. Ranjini agrees and hands her handbag to them. There is no money found in it. The officers says sorry but they had to do their duty. Ranjini smiles and says its okay. The officers leave. Ranjini smiles and they show flashback.

Flashback : After saving the little girl, Ranjini got into the auto. While going she ask the Auto how much. Then she looks inside her handbag for money and is shock to see the bundles of cash. She thinks back the incident where few guys came to her house to give her money and left without saying anything. Ranjini suspect something fisshy and request the Auto to go to nearest temple. She puts the cash into the temple undil and leaves.

Back to reality : Ranjini smiles and leaves from there.

Sanggetha goes to mean her daughter's college principal. He tells Sanggetha about her daughter's absent from college. There are total 96 days of not attending school. Sanggetha is shock. She ask Principal why did not her give her a TC? Principal says he cannot do that as she is a smart girl and top rank student. Its Sanggetha to be blame for not giving full attention on her daughter. Sanggetha is hurt. Principal ask her if she knows the reason for all this but Sanggetha is unable to answer. Even is she ask her daughter, the reply will be "So what" or "don't care". Principal smiles. He praise Sanggetha as he knows she is a good teacher but just wondering how could she have not paid attention on her own daughter. Sanggetha then ask him if his going to take any action on this or as a mother, can she do what she thinks is right? Principal advice Sanggetha to make decision as a mother and not as a teacher. Sanggetha tells him she will ask her daughter tonight the reason for skipping class. If Sanggtha does not get the proper answers, she will hand in a letter to him and will get a TC for her. Sanggetha leaves.

One of Ranjini co-worker blames her for complaining about him to higher officers. Ranjini tells him to start living in a proper way and goes away from there. Her boss daughter comes there and begs her father to recommend her for a seat at a college but he refuse as he does not believe in recommendation and will never use his authority for personal use. The girl goes out and complains to Ranjini. Ranjini speaks to her boss and ask for his permission to let her get the seat for his daughter. He allows her but reminds her to to use authority. Ranjini says she has a friend working at that college and she will seek her help.

Ranjini and team are given instructions to inspect some passengers as they got information on some drug smuggling. All team members start doing their job at the airport. Plain lands and a new intro comes in. He looks good looking. Ranjini stops him and ask Mano to scan him. They will be a beep sound. The guy says his got metal in his leg. He had an operation. Ranjini ask Mano to get this man into the room and starts checking his things in the bag. The guy gets really mad at this. After searching, Ranjini tells him that he can leave. The man is really angry and tells her he will take revenge for this. Ranjini says okay thank you and ask him to leave. Thodarum.

Aug 5 (Tues)

Episode 17:

Vinod is revising his lesson while his mother marks test papers and grandmother makes garland. Sangeetha looks at the clock and it shows almost 9pm. She wonders why Uma is not back yet and sees her MIL not bothered about it. Uma walks in a hurry and stops near the trio. Sangeetha seeing Uma, immediately tells Vinod he does not need to revise anymore because he always comes first in class and is very smart. She tells him to go watch Chutty TV. Vinod leaves and Sangeetha continues with marking papers. Uma asks her mother is she had gone to the college to meet the principal and why. Sangeetha keep quiet. Uma gets irritated ans asks if he principal had asked her to goor she went to investigate. She asks her mother what the principal told her. Sangeetha tells Uma that she would not be allowed to do her exams without at least a 70% attendence and she has not gone to school for 96 days. Even MIL is shocked to hear this but keeps quiet. Uma says she will prduce medical chit and the principal would not be able to prevent her from taking her exams. She arrogantly tells her mother that she is a very smart student and always gets 90% or higher in all subjects and she can do it without goingto college. Sangeetha asks why she did not inform her earlier as she would have saved alot of money. Sangeetha gives example of PT Usha and SPD who had walked hard to achieve their ambition. For a person to come up in life they have to go thru certain process and school is one of it. Uma walks off in a huff Grandmother stops Uma and asks where she went without going to college. Uma shouts at grandmother telling her to mind her own business. Grandmother is shocked to hear this and Sangeetha thinks to herself her MIL deserves what she is getting.

Karthik and his friends are talking. At the same time the traveller, Shakti who was stop by Ranjini at the immigration is driving and he thinks about Ranjini and her investigation. A drunkard tries to cross the road and Shatkti honks. Shakti stops his car just in time, the drunkard falls backwards away from the car. A few man run towards Shakti and say he had hit the man and he is no hurt and unconcious. Shakti try to tell the men he did not hit hte man but they don't want to listen and deman $10,000. Shakti is shocked and argues. Karthik hearing the commotion, go over to the place and ask what is going on. The man tells Karthik that Shakti had hit the man and they want him to pay up for hospital bills. Karthik tells his friend to check if the man is really burt. When Rajesh checks, the drunk wakes up and it is clear that he is not hurt. Karthik tells the man to leave and that the man is not hurt. The man refuses saying that they are all from the same area and Shakti is not and reduces the amount to $1000 but Karthi tels them nothing doing and if they don't leave, he will call the police. After some wirds the man leave. Shakti thanks Karthik and his friends gives Karthik his business card and tells him to call and visit him.

Chandramathi and mother go to a jewellery store and starts looking at jewellery. Chandramathi sees her friend maragatham there and goes to her. Maragatham asks about Aishwarya. Both Chandramathi and her mother asks Maragatham to visit them as it has been a long time since she visited. Maragatham tells them she will visit them with her son Shakti (Shakti is Chandramathi's friend Maragatham's son). Maragatham then shows a necklace and asks if it is beautiful Chandramathi tells it is and immediately Maragatham tells the sales person to pack it for Aiswarya. Chandramathi asks why and her friend tells her it is for her future DIL. The sales person then brings the necklace that Maragatham had given to be checked and says there is a flaw. Maragatham tells Chandramathi that she will not have anything has a flaw and will have to give it away to someone. Chandramathi tells her friend that she had not changed from their college days. Both friends ask to see other designs and the sales person bring them two necklaces and both ladies are in awe of its beauty. Chandramathi tells the sales person to pack one for her and another for Maragathem but to be billed together. When Maragatham asks why, Chandramathi tells her she is buying for Maragatham her futher in law. The three ladies leave the store very happy.

Ranjni and her boss's daughter travel in a call taxi. The girl asks Ranjini if she will be able to get the recommendation. Ranjini tells her to think positive and everything will work out. Ranjini tells the girl if she had worked hard, she would have better marks and got the seat on merit instead of looking for recommendation. The girls tells her she did study hard but was not able to get the marks requires. She tells Ranjini that she wants to become an IPS and wants everyone including her father to salute her. While travelling Ranjini spots the man wanted by the customes and Uman's boyfriend having a drink at a roadside stall. Ranjini looks at him. THODARUM.

WEDNESDAY UPDATE

Ranjini notice the guy and ask the van to stop. But her boss daughter said they are already late and drags Ranjini back into the van. She miss the guy again. Later at office, her boss scolds her for neglecting her duties. Ranjini said his daughter was there or else things would have been different. Boss says his daughter is not important. She should have catch him first.

Sanggetha and Meena at temple praying. Sangetha meets a josiyar, and ask him to see a good mappilai for Ranjini. Meena is happy to hear this. Sangthea tells josiyar that Ranjini went through a hard time during her young age, at least let her be happy after marriage.

Meena and friends plan to go for a picnic and she needs some money. She ask karthi and Karthi ask her to ask Ranjini. But Meena does not dare to ask her if its for picnic. So Meena lies to Ranjini she needs to pay semester fee so she needs the money. Ranjini gives her the money.

Later evening, Karthik comes to know that Meena had lied to Ranjini. Karthik scolds her badly for lying to Ranjini and how hurt Ranjini will be if she knows the truth. Ranjini comes back from work and Meena returns back the money. Ranjini is confused. Karthik tells Ranjini about the lie. Ranjini gets angry but controls it and starts advising Meena. No matter how much of lies she and Karthik tells Ranjini, Ranjini will still believe them. Because she loves them so much. Even if Meena had told the truth that she needs the money for trip, Ranjini would not have given her as she will be very worried on sending Meena alone. Ranjini smiles and ask her siblings to join her for dinner. Meena says sorry and feels very guilty. Ranjini smiles. Thodarum

THURSDAY UPDATE 07.08.2008

Josiyar is telling Ranjini mother about a new varam. Mapilai has done engineering and has a establish company in Australia. Mother ask if Ranjini has to leave them and go to Australia after wedding. Josiyar says yes. Mother tells him Ranjini had always loved her job. She will leave it and she will never agree to leave the family behind as she feels she is responsible for her siblings. So mother ask josiyar to see a mappilai in their country itself. Josiyar suggest another mapilai doctor. Mother is happy and says she will check with Ranjini first. Josiyar ask her to give good answer soon and leaves.

Useless father is sitting and eating briyani in the hall. Ranjini walks pass to go kitchen but her father stops her. He says her mother is doing tosai and ask her to bring 4 thosai. Its good to eat thosai after eating briyani, then only briyani will digest fast 😡 (greedy pig, you want digestion, just sleep down and i will ask Kaven Laven to jump on you belly 😡😡). Ranjini goes to kitchen. Her sister reading book there. Ranjini ask her mother why doing thosai when appa is already eating briyani? She ask her mother to go and eat and she will do the thosai. Mother says its okay but she need to serve the thosai hot to her husband, or else he will make a big ragalai. Ramya scolds her mother "Avar yenna sonnalum appediya madde marri adikittei ire ... ". Her sister agrees with Ranjini. Karthik joins them in the kitchen.

Karthik tells Ranjini he got something important to talk to her. The whole family takes her behind and tells her about the marriage proposal. Ranjini ask if wedding is important now? Lots of things to be settle in this family first. But siblings ask her not to worry, they will manage but they want Ranjini to get married. Mother ask her to understand. Everyone is asking why Ranjini is not married yet? Its not nice if people talk bad. Siblings start forcing her. Father comes there to wash hand. Everyone keeps quite. Father ask what is going on and why is there a meeting going on here? They tell him Ranjini is going to banglore for office work soon, thats what they are discussing. Father also stays there and ask them to continue talking. Ranjini sister says all talkings are done, now left only for Ranjini to give gren signal. She ask everyone to leave. Before leaving, she ask Ranjini to decide. Everyone leaves. Ranjini is left thinking about it.

Sangetha praying in temple. She sees josiyar there and he tells her about the proposal. Sangetha is very much happy. She goes to Ranjini's house. Upon seing Ranjini she ask "yenna maa kalyana ponnu.." Ranjini is not happy about it. Sangetha bought a saree for them. She wants Ranjini to use this saree for ponne pakeraning. Sanggetha says she cares for Ranjini so much. Ranjini tells Sangetha only she can stop the wedding because she don't want to get married. Sanggtha says she cares to much for her siblings and not fair to postponed her marriage. Sangetha tells her don't worry about them. Everything is will be fine. Ranjini says lets wait till everything settle. This family depends on her salary. What will happen if her husband don't let her support her family? Sanggetha tells her nothing like that will happen. Everytime will be fine.

Chandramathi is talking to someone regarding some business stuff. (She looks much better without the make up and golds lol) She is asking them to destroy some building.As she is talking, Neelambari appears and Ranjini gets shock to see her. Neelambari ask her why need to break the building. Don't she know who build that building? Chandramathi tries to get up from the chair with lots of fear. Neelambari walks towards her, she is so scared and eyes wide open. Nellambari says "Yellam unnake teriyum dii, annal yarukum teriye kudathe nee adiyalame alikesollre. Yettana kaletheke unmai marikemudiyum?" Nelambari says she is back for revenge and to punish her. Neelambari says all the pavam that Chandramathi did, she will be punish for that soon.

😡😡 the video stop halfway. can someone update the last few please. Looks like she said something important 😡😡

Episode 20:

Chandramathi is in the hospital and her mother tells her to take it easy. Chandramathi tells her that Neelambari had visited her but her mother says that cannot be. Chandramathi starts telling her that it is true she killed and her mom killed Neelambari but now she had come back to haunt and torture her. The nurse comes in and asks the mother to come out and tells her that a doctor names Neelamegam is there to treat Chandramathi. Mother tells the nurse that no one with the name that starts with that name see Chandramathi as she will become more mad. Mother goes in and another doctor (Ranjini's mapilai) looks at Chandramathi and tells her that she is fine phisically but mentally stressed. Mother tells Chandramathi she will bring some juice and leaves. Neelamabari again appears and threatens Chandramathi. Chandramathi screams and turns to see her mother and tells her what she saw but mother does not believe.

Meena is sitting quietly and KArthik goes to her and asks what is wrong. Meena says the doctor maapilai and family are coming to see Ranjini and they need to get useless father out. Karthik asks if Meena has any money and she gives him $200. Karthik takes the money and takes his own $200 and puts $400 in a place where Rajagopal can see it and both hide. Rajagopal comes out and sees no one around and he gets mad as he wants to tell them he willbe staying in the house. He sees the money, takes it and disappears. Both Karthik and Meena are happy.

Sangeetha gets Ranjini ready and the groom and family arrive. In the meantime the broker goes to a store whre Rajagopal is sitting and tells him about the doctor maapilai and that they are in his house to see Ranjini and asks him to follow him. Rajagopal tells the broker to go first and he will follow.

At home, Ranjini serves drinks to the visitors and they talk. Ranjini goes inside and the elders start talking. Rajagopal enters and introduces himself to them. He then begins asking how much the groom has studied and where he works and insults him. Ranjini tells Sangeetha to go outside and try to stop her father before he goes further. SAngeetha goes outside and tells Rajagopal not to worry about anything but her tells her that she is only a visitor but he is the father and knows what needs to be done. Rajagopal then asks the groom's family how much they are willing to give his daughter as dowry. Everyone is shocked. THODARUM.

Sorr folks, this is going to be a brief one only since payya is missing and im not free to do a detailed update. Just a brief once so it wud be easy for Pat to continue the next episode.

MONDAY UPDATE EPISODE

Ranjini father ask them how much dowry are they going to give. The family is suprised with this question. Mapilai mother says you don't have to give any for you daughter, just send her to us. Ranjini father says Ranjini is working in a big position. So they can't stop her from work just like that. Mapilai father is annoyed with the way this man talks. He gets up and says they will let them know in 2 days. Ranjini father says its okay, take 2 3 months also no problem. But as long they have decided on dowry. Sanggetha tries to beg the family to wait but Ranjini father ask her not to say anything as this is his family matter. She is only a guest. Sanggetha is sad. Inside, Ranjini sits still, brother and sister are so much anger.

Maragatham visits Chandra at hospital. Chandra mother tells her about her vision seing Neelambari. Friend advice her and leaves.

Karthik is sitting looking sad and upset. Ranjini ask him what happen. Karthik ask Ranjini why do they have to tolerate a man who does nothing but irratate all their lives? Ranjini said we are not tolerating him for him but for amma sake. Ranjini ask him not to worry about the proposal. She herself was not interested. She wants her siblings to start earning and then she will decide getting married.

Ranjini goes to visit Chandramathi. Chandra welcomes her in warmly. Ranjini ask how is she and what happen. In comes Chandramathii mother and shock to see Ranjini. She keeps looking at Ranjini and also vision of Neelambari appears. Thodarum

Aug 12 (Tues):

Chandra's mom comes out with a glass of juice and sees Ranjini and s shocked. She keeps on staring ar Ranjini. Ranjini sees Chandra's mom and smiles at her. Chandra introduces Ranjini to her mother. Mother gives the juice to Chandra and she offers it to Ranjini. Ranjini takes it and drinks. Chandra then tells her mother that Ranjini is a customs officer and smugglers are afraid of her. Ranjini takes leave. After she leaves, Chandra tells her that at first she too was shocked but after finding out about her, she is now more relaxed to know that Ranjini is not Neelambari. Mother agrees.

Doctor's mother is cleaning vegetable and doctor goes to her and asks Ranjini. Mother is angry about the way Rajagopal insulted them. The phone rings and it is the broker. Mother shouts at him and hangs up. Doctor asks his mother if she likes Ranjini and mother says yest but her family is not good. Doctor tells his mother that he too likes Ranjini and wants to marry her but mother refuses saying she will find a nivce girl for him. She says that he likes Ranjini because she is the first girl he saw and doctor agrees and asks his mother again to talk to Ranjini's family but mother refuses and walks away.

Ranjini ironing her clothes, Saratha brings coffee and wants to talk to Ranjini and starts about the doctor maapilai. Ranjini tells her mother to forget about it as she has. Mother leaves the room and is stopped by her useless husband, Rajagopal. He asks her what she talked about to her daughter. Saradha tells Rajagopal they did not talk about anything. A courier comes there with a letter for Karthik. Rajagopal tells her to bring the letter to him but she calls Karhtik and gives the letter to Karthik. Karthik takes the letter inside and opens to find a DVD of the mivie 'Thimiru'. His cell rings an he answers. It is Chandra's daughter Aishwarya who tells him that she is the one who sent him the DVD and says she is like Eiswari's character in that movie and she wants him to come soon and marry her. Karthik tells her to shush it and to think about the movie charactor's death. Aishwarya laughs andhangs up. Karthik too thinks about it and smiles to himself.

Ranjini walks out of the room and Rajagopal stops her and asks if she is angry with him. Ranjini says she is not and praises him to be the best head of a household. Rajagopal explains that what he did was for the family's good and he said no to the doctor's family because he was not wealthy enough. He promises her to find a wealthy husband for her soon. Karthik intervenes and ask if that would be when Rajagopal has found enough money for himself. Ranjini tells her brother to keeps quiet and tells her father that she know that he will never let her get married and she is just a money making machine and she has accepted that and leaves. Rajagopal plans to rid of Karthik as he poses a threat to him.

Sangeetha meets Saradha at the temple and tells her that the dotor maapilai likes Ranjini and wants to marry her but his parents are still angry with them and are against it. She tells Saradha to meet with them and talk to them and for sure they will agree. Saradha is unwilling because of her husband's behavior but Sangeetha tells her to forget about that incident. She tells her to go ahead and talk to them and everything will be allright.

Unknown to them Rajagopal hides behind a pillar and hears the ladies talk. He says that no matter what anyone plan about Ranjini's wedding, he will make sure it will never happen. THODARUM

Aug 13 (Wed)

Episode 23:

Chitra asks Ranjini if she will get the seat the the college. Ranjini assures her she will as she knows someone who will help. Ranjini asks why Chitra wants to study only in that college. Chitra says it is because all her friends are there. When Ranjini asks if she is only coming to the college to see her friend. Chitra says it is not so but because the professors there are very student oriented. Ranjini meets with an officer at the college and asks about the seat but the man says the seat had been given to a VIP's daughter who had given a lot of donation. He tells her that he will let her know if any seats are availabl at other colleges. Ranjini and Chitra leave disappointed. A car stops and Chandra get out and is surprised to see Ranjini there and she enquires the reason Ranjini is there. Ranjini explains that she came there to see about the seat for Chitra, her boss' daughter but it so happens that it had been given to a VIP's daughter. Chandra asks why her boss did not use his influence and Ranjini tells her that he does not practice such things. Chandra asks if Chitra is very important to her and Ranjini says yes. Chandra tells Ranjini that she will see to it that Chitra gets a seat because she is one of the School Board Member. Ranjini is very happy and thanks Chandra. Chandra tells her that she is doing this because she ws very happy that Ranjini took time to visit her when she was not well. Chitra also thanks her but Chandra tells her if any thanks are to be said it should be said to Ranjini and leaves.

Doctor's mother in the kitchen, The door bell rings, she opens the door and is surprised to see Saradha, She asks Saradha to come in and asks what she wants to see her about. Saradha apologizes for her husband's harsh and insulting words. Doctor's mother tells Saradha that they are very angry and hurt because of her husband. She pleads with the lady to accept Ranjini so that she would have a good life. She also tells that her husband would do the same to anyone who comes to see Ranjini about marriage. Doctor's mom still refuses but seeing Saradha beg her, she promises to talk to her husband and son. Saradha tells her that she hopes to get a good reply from them and leaves.

Chandra is looking at her check book and sees a check not requested by her. Manager says that her daughter had wanted a new car and had asked for the check. Chandra throws the check book at the manager and tells him not to prepare anything without her approval. Chandra's mother comes there and asks why Chandra is angry and Chandra tells her that Aishwarya wants everything but not education. Mother tells her that because Aishwarya is getting everything easily, she is behaving such. Chandra then tells her mother how she helped chitra to get a seat at the college and Chitra would surely know the value. Mother wants to know who Chitra is and Chandra tells her it is the Customs officer's daughter and a friend of Ranjini. Chandra tells that she like Ranjini a lot. Mother says that doesn't mean she can keep Ranjini by her side all the time. Chandra says she wants to keep Ranjini by her side all the time because only by seeing her all the time, she will come out of her fear of Neelambari. She also wants Ranjini by he side for other reasons and walks off. Mother thinks.

Rajagopal walks into a photo studio and sits down. The studio operator asks what he needs. Rajagopal says he just needs to do some mixing. He says he just needs to do something simple. The man does not want to do something wrong. Rajagopal says it is something wrong but it is not wrong for him. He gives him Ranjini's photo and wants it to be joined with a boy's photo. He tells him to join a guy's photo but the guy must be good looking because his daughter is very pretty. He tells the man, he will be back soon for the finished product. The studio operator works on his computer and fixes Ranjini with a man's image. THODARUM.

THURSDAY UPDATE 14.08.08

Karthik is waiting for bus at the bus stop and Ramya comes there. Karthik scolds her and ask her to stop disturbing him. Ais says she loves him and she wants him to love her back. Karthik says cannot. But Aish says she loves him. Past is past, and she always looks at the future. Karthik begs her to leave as he got no time to love and has got no interest. He has his own ambition and lots of things to be worried. Unlike her, born with the golden spoon. Aish just smiles and listen. She ask why does he needs to work for somebody. If his married to her, he will have good life and job. He can be the boss. Karthik gets annoyed. Karthik tells Aish she can never buy him. Aish says everywhere needs money. But Karthik does not listen to her explanation. Aish tells Karthi he must love her or else, she takes out a ganja packet. She tells Karthik she will put it in Karthik without his knowledge and the rest .... he knows what will happen. Aish says what ever she dream for, she must get it. She leaves Karthik looking worried and annoyed.

Doctor and mother are talking. Doctor ask if she has made arrangements for the wedding. At the time, a courier comes for Moorty (finally the doctor's name) Moorth opens the envelope and shock to see the picture of Ranjini with a guy. Mother is also shock. He takes out the letter and reads. In the letter says Ranjini has already married. Mother scolds and ask what is going on. Doctor tells her mother not to blame anything first. They must check the truth. But mother does not listen to doctor. She scolds Ranjini family for doing such thing. Doctor is confused with the picture and letter.

Sanggetha walking in the road and notices Ranjini picture pasted outside a photo shop. She goes to the shop and ask the guy how to took the picture. The boy talks rudely to her so gives a hard slap the man and ask who is the boy beside Ranjini or she will call the police now. They guy tells her about doing it in computer. Sanggetha is very much angry and ask who is behind this. The guy said the father of the ponnu ask him to do it. Ranjini is very much shock and ask if he is telling the truth. He says yes. Sanggetha gives him left and right and leaves from there. (Padmini acting here is super, watch it guys.)

Sanggetha calls Ranjini phone. She ask Ranjini to come fast to the school. Ranjini says okay.

Ranjini goes to meet Sanggetha. She shows the picture and Ranjini is very much shock. Even big shock when Sanggetha said her father's work. Sanggetha tells her the whole story. Ranjini is upset with her father. She never expected this from him. So low of him. Sanggetha wanted to question her father, but he will reply her back rudely saying its not her business. Ranjini is sad and wonders why her father is doing this? Sanggetha says if only that day her father keeps quite, Ranjini will be married to the doctor. Rajagopal is doing all this because she is the only person earning. Ranjini said she knows this thats why she did not agree with the wedding at first place. Sanggetha wants Ranjini to go and question her father about this as this thing should not happen to Meena in future. Thodarum
