RPS's apprehensions are justified...

As much as I would hate to admit it... I did find a point in RPS's apprehensions with regard to Shankar being his successor. What didnt go well with me was the comparison with Shaurya😭 I am not comparing Shankar with any other possible Heir... I am talking only about Shanakr's Merits and Demerits as a successor.

The apprehensions of RPS arent overnight issues... he hasnt arrived at that conclusion in a few days... it has been working on his mind for a long time now.. it has been a continue battle with the father in him before he could even share the apprehensions with his wife.

We still dont know what kind of 'Business' do they have... by the look of it surely isnt legal. They are not the Mafia kind of people either... they do seem to serve anyone who comes under their shelter seeking help... but from where do they get the money to finance such charity? Collections from the underworld?Whatever they do... has a lot of risk involved... not even to mention legal hassles... Their enemies are going to be very dangerous... they must be on the look out for one opportunity and there could be a coup.

Will Shankar be able to handle it? Probably, Yes.... The only thing that goes against him his temper... it is mad rage.... His gun talks. If he takes control of the business... he is going to make enemies by a dozen every single hour... how sure are we that he will safe... All they need is one clear shot... 30 secs and he is gone. His family will be exposed to danger like never before. If he makes enemies outside, it is fine... but what if he has enemies with in his gang? He is too naive to note a black sheep around him. It hardly will be difficult to get Shankar caught in a legal web and get him behind the bars.

People look upto RPS as a father figure, a guardian, a leader... When RPS makes a decision... it will have an impact on many lives... not just of his family and staff... but lot many people.... can Shankar become such a leader? Will he be able to make an informed decision...gauge the risk and insure the decision against it?

Will years of hardwork, numerous sacrifices by Shankar, Undeterred loyalty towards his dad and their cause be overlooked by RPS? I fear that the answer to that will be Yes, IF and when needed to make a choice.

Well, it is too early in the serial for us to say that Shankar can or cannot be the Waaris... but the yes, given whatever information that we have... if there are a few apprehensions ... then they arent unjustified. Shankar has a long way to go before he can take on the mantle from RPS.

You're absolutely right on the points, very true!šŸ‘
But I guess because I still feel bad about Shankar, because either way, his life has been deprived of happiness! :(

I think RPS was kind of right on his desicions..until yesterday I were thinking it was unfair toward Shankar cause he have deprived..but RPS had his reasons for thinking like that....as you have wrote, its not only their family but also lots of poeple are depended on RPS and his decision affect them aswell..so fare they have showed us Shankar as a hot-headed guy, protective of his siblings and very impulsive. which may can cost him a lot...can he be a good leader and take the whole responsbility under his shoulder? Only time will tell us...!

Shaurya seems to have what its reguired of a good leader, but can he handle the whole burden?? maybe both of the brothers need to work together😊
btw...good analysis Ryka!😃

I completely agree with everything you've said. His apprehensions are justified.

But, I wonder, what about the other side? As far as temper goes, Shaurya may be the perfect choice. But can he handle the magnanimity of their situation? Can he handle dealing with so many people who depend on him? Both Shaurya and Swati have an older brother whom they respect and depend upon. They were protected and shielded from most of the dangerous things Shankar and RPS partook in.

RPS's apprehensions may allow him to rule out Shankar, but what makes Shaurya the better candidate? I guess that will be answered in the future episodesšŸ˜›

Wow; amazing analysis.

I understand Rudra's concern regarding Shankar's temper and the point that if he continues in the same way; then it won't be very long until he gets himself killed by his enemies.

So what makes the perfect Waaris?

Somebody who has knowledge of the business; but at the same time has enough control to make decisions maturely.

The latter is definitely not Shankar; then again it's not impossible to mature overtime and control your anger when responsibilities are thrust on you. So maybe, he can be the perfect Waaris for Rudra's business overtime?

Wow; my reply is so damn boring!šŸ˜†

Very true, I agree with what you said, Rudra is justified to have those feelings, because we too have seen the extent to how far Shankar's temper has go. And I'm sure that's not even what he's like when he's really angry.

I just feel, with whatever is going on, will Shaurya be able to handle any of this? He's always had his philosophy of no violence, of not wanting to be involved with those things... the magnitude of the situation is much higher than what we think, and I'm not sure if Shaurya is the better candidate for the 'waaris'. Though Rudra must be having his reasons... we'll have to see what he thinks later on!
I think if Shankar found out about this, more than angry, he would be upset, disappointed.. he may even blame himself. Because I think we can see that what Shankar doesnt ever want to do is to disappoint his father. Let's see though...
