That was lovely Shubs. Well my experience with Shabbo was similar. I did not like him in Nach Baliye where I felt he was over flirtateous with his co-host nor did I like him in the few glimpses I caught of KTH because of his characterisation of a playboy who practically ended up ruining his brother's love life (atleast at that point). His looks did not impress me either.
All that however changed when I saw him in the near rape scene in KYM (which I caught while surfing channels). Although I still had not started liking him, his performance in that intense scene left me spell bound. Luckily Milind did not carry out his threat because if he had I would have not watched KYM. Anyway I was hooked to Shabbo and KYM after that.
For me too acting is more important than looks and what an actor he is. He gets under the skin of a character and as Milind he has got to play so many different shades. He has proved he is the best they have in tellyworld and is certainly better than most in bollywood too.
As to his looks, he just grew on me. Though his looks are unconventional, there is something he has that cannot be put down in words. He certainly steps up one's heart beat. These days with a decent haircut, the guy looks hot and yummy.
I have never had such a strong crush on any actor, even in my teens, as I have on Shabbo. My hubby has given up me failing to understand what I see in him. I only wish all the very best for Shabbo in his professional and personal life.
