Here Is The Update For 31st July, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
The Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
The Scene Starts from what was shown on the end of the last episode. Rummy And Purvi seeing Vidya Wounded.
Akrithi, Markhand And Peter Meet at the hall, near the staircase. Peter is worried that Gunny is also looking for Vidya and the situation might go out of hand if Gunny comes to know the truth.
At the girl's room scene is still with Rummy, Purvi And Vidya. Rummy asks Why Vidya Resorted to kill herself over a letter joke, Vidya is taken aback and reiterates her stated position of accidental firing. She is in tears. And loss of blood makes her weak. Purvi asks Rummy to stop his talk and request's him to get Akrithi, without the knowledge of Peter and Markhand. Purvi Also Had Said Mistakes Are Done, And They, Rummy And Purvi, are guilty of that. Rummy Stops Her.
In the Hallway the trio is still wondering where to look for the other three which included Vidya. Markhand says now Rummy and Purvi are missing since they are supposed to come to the hall after an hour.
Rummy whistles to attract Akrthi's attention twice, once they see Orderly passing by, Akrithi wonders if the Orderly had whistled at her, Markhand say if the Orderly knew her, he would not dare to whistle. Second time a girl is passing by and Peter is questioned and Peter does not think so, and further something, not clear.
Finally the boys go inside the Infirmary ; Akrithi is pulled away by Rummy.
Peter and Markhand end up facing Shona. Doc Shalini is on leave and S D had come into pick up aspirin for her headache. when Peter and Markhand blabber, and look sheepish S D says that they needed the aspirin more.
Akrithi comes into the room and starts to help out. And Rummy tells that Vidya attempted to kill herself. Again" Rummy, Purvi " starts and since Vidya is wounded badly, Akrithi asks Rummy to go out since it is girls room. Adamant Rummy tries to argue but Akrithi is firm.
Rummy goes out.
Akrithi then tries to attend to Vidya, and also tells Purvi to leave the room, as Purvi leaves, Akrithi Thanks Purvi, and Purvi says there is no need for the thank you.
Akrithi tries to get the shooting story but Vidya is still weak and sticks to her earlier version of the shooting being accidental. She slips back into unconscious state and Akrithi realises the need for the immediate and better medical attention.
Peter in a fast paced speech reveals all those events that had taken place all through this time passed
Peter and Markhand plead with S D not to inform the other faculty members. S D says that she needs to inform the authorities and there were enough accusations of her trying to control them through her training methods. Peter Looked shocked.
Akrithi comes over to call Doc Shalini. S D asks whether Vidya had been located. One look at their faces Akrithi gauges the situation . Akrithi tells her that is in their room and unconscious.
Purvi is forceful with Rummy, but Rummy is not easily convinced to own up. And says that Purvi is equally involved in playing the joke on Vidya. And says that what ever did happen has happened. Purvi then says she is ready to own up to Vidya, since for them the love life may be a joke but to Vidya, it is serious feelings. And that they, Purvi Rummy Duo had no right to play the prank.
Rummy appeared stunned and speechless. And may be, a little later, thoughtful.
At this point Shona and the rest come over. While the boys stay back, ladies go in, Purvi too.
Shona and the girls walk in and Shona examines Vidya and opines that Vidya is seriously wounded and needs to be shifted to the Infirmary. S D also had asked what had taken place and got the answer as suicide attempt, by Vidya.
Akrithi and Purvi are against this move as it might jeopardise Vidya's career to be an Army Personnel, since the authorities in the Army would get a report and Vidya would be dismissed from the training period.
S D is in a fix because the protocol demands that she inform higher authorities of the mishap. On top of this she is under tremendous pressure and suspicion.
Peter and Markhand to come in to express similar sentiments and Markhand says that their dream to be Army Officers would be shattered as the mistake lies with them all. Peter too says he too is to take the blame, knowing Vidya he had left her alone with the gun.
But S D says that they would have to shift Vidya to the Infirmary to save Vidya.
Rummy's voice says that there is no need for that. As everyone looks in his direction he comes into the picture.
Rummy says that they take Vidya to the Infirmary and he will give a statement that the gun accidentally went off while he was handling it.
Markhand, Peter, Akrithi, Purvi, do not accept the idea and say all are equally responsible and they share the responsibility. S D is looking on in a very appreciative way.
In the meantime Akrithi suggests that they have look at the wound. On taking a closer look at the wound, Markhand says that Vidya need not be shifted as the wound is superficial and just loss of little more blood.
Peter asks Markhand how could be so sure and whether he had any certificates, etc. Markhand says that he had seen lot of bullet wounds and goes on to explain that 5the bullet had just grazed the upper part of the foot, not entered, nor lodged inside the foot. He further gives convincing and detailed explanation. S D too accepts the explanation and points out few things.
Again S D and the Cadets are confronted with how to treat Vidya's foot. Markhand once more provides the solution. That during his young days he had seen ad treated girls with similar bullet wounds. In the jungles few herbs are available and he would get them and make the substance to apply on, and treat the wound.
S D Has The Appreciative Look About Her, On Witnessing The Camaraderie amongst the Cadets And As The Fist Clasp Is Held By The Five Cadets.
