Somehow or the other although Baba is now being portrayed as negative, I doubt that he is with Meera in her plot to kill Pronita. Yes, he may be using 'Bani' with someone unknown ... perhaps Jigs or Nattu....or Pia to get back at Meera but I don't think he will deliberately hurt her. Perhaps he overheard Meera's conversation and staged his own accident where the body is not found or even one damaged beyond recognition , obviously not Pronita....and will set up Meera for the fall! I also feel that Ranveer has something else up his sleeve... He looks at Meera very strangely... as if with disgust.
