Somewhat of a landmark

I overall enjoyed the epi on the 28th of July anyways (a very rare thing for me😆)....but there was one thing in the epi that really touched me (even rarer😆)

The scene when R is trying to give that injection to A and after she asks him....'dard hoga na?' and he replies ki "maine isse bhi bade dard jhele hain".....

I think that must be the very first time (that I can recall) when a scene has been shown when R genuinely seems to (even if only for a moment) realize the amount of pain that she's caused Armaan.....and I think that's a huge landmark!

Overall, I thought that moment was very well handled....especially the way Armaan then tries to make light of the situation and apologize to her....cuz that's what you would do for a loved one, right? No matter how much pain they give you, if they genuinely feel remorse over it or are upset, you'll do your best to lighten the situation so that they don't feel bad.

I liked the AR I saw in yesterday's epi.....I wish that these aspects of their relationship were shown more often in order to provide a depth to their relationship.

Over the past few days, a lot of questions had arisen over what exactly a certain 'dissatisfied' group of people in this forum want to see in DMG....and I think the very simple answer (for me atleast) would be....more of the kind of epi that 28th July was....cuz it had other well done scenes as well....such as the Armaan-Angie-Riddhima one. To make it even more simple...an epi which is able to balance humor, romance and drama....yesterday's epi may not have had drama...but I felt it had a good balance of whatever it did have.

Oye Anu...came to IF for the first time today to see your post....
It indeed is a landmark...finally R had shown some remorse (even it is for a moment) for the pain that she had inflicted on A and acknowledged it too. Loved her remorseful and resentful look. It exactly was like a real normal life situation. You make a comment regarding some action and once you realise that your loved one is hurting, both for doing such action and for the comment you just made, you will try to make the situation light. And that was what happenned in yesterday's episode.
For a lot of us, these little things make a lot of difference on how we see the show and feel about it.
A very good post Anu about a small(?) but very important thing of the show. Awesome!!

Nafs!🤗

LOL yes, I don't usually make a post😆😆😆.....I think I made one on Nana a loooooooong time back🤣

Anyways, getting back to the topic....

Yep, I was very (pleasantly) surprised by yesterday's epi...and this scene in particular was a "is this really happening in DMG after eeeeeeeeeons?" kind of moment for me😆😆😆

Overall, I think what made the difference was that it was a comparatively much better written episode....with well written dialogues for a change....something like the DMG of the first three months which I thought was perfect!

The little dash of humor in the scene with Armaan mentioning the Jan confession as well...was also nicely done...'I hate you, I love you' and him moving R back and forth in time to that😆😆.....

Anu...🤗 it was so nice to see you post after such a long time.... The mention of Jan confession in a light hearted way was refreshingly good. Armaan rocking R back and forth with the I love you and I hate you's was natural and spontaneous. For me personally, A hugging Angie and R consecutively so many times was funny, but Angie falling for Armaan's drama is a little unbelievable. But R questioning him as to why A had to hug her di so many times made up for the scene completion. Overall, good natural scenes. Wish KSG could add a bit more spunk to the good scenes. I guess all the long working hours and lack of sleep are telling on his expressions. Ahh well...why am I cribbing again...I enjoyed yesterday's scene...
P.S: Now I have to paddle back to home (grrrrrr hate the traffic) and if I get time later, I will come OL.

@Anu: Well said...👏

I still enjoy DMG, but yesterday's episode had the essence I was looking for...It feels Riddhima understands him better now and truly loves him for him and I also wish they would show more of those episodes..Loved it when R shed tears for the pain she has caused to Armaan and the way Armaan handled it although part of me wanted Armaan to talk to her about what happened in the past.

For me personally, A hugging Angie and R consecutively so many times was funny, but Angie falling for Armaan's drama is a little unbelievable. Haan that it is😆😆😆...but then, I'd never really expected them to let anyone find out about AR anytime soon😆....arey jab the lovebirds ki khud ki basic story is going in loops then kahaan se they'll move it forward by letting other ppl find out???....But I enjoyed it just for the humor in that scene😆 But R questioning him as to why A had to hug her di so many times made up for the scene completion. Overall, good natural scenes. Completely agreed! Wish KSG could add a bit more spunk to the good scenes. *sigh* I know what you mean😆....but compared to the scene even from a few epis ago, this was a huge improvement yaar! As I was telling Sonali yesterday, it was like I was watching about 85% of the original naughty Armaan from the beginning days...and I totally enjoyed it! I guess all the long working hours and lack of sleep are telling on his expressions. Ahh well...why am I cribbing again...I enjoyed yesterday's scene...

P.S: Now I have to paddle back to home (grrrrrr hate the traffic) and if I get time later, I will come OL. Good luck with the traffic yaar! I empathize completely😆😆

Oh I really enjoyed those scenes too! The RM scene really was very cute! I just love the way Rahul looks at her all mesmerized...it's sooooooooo cute!

And Atul-Muskaan in general are really brightening up the proceedings these days as well!
