Rekha informs Vikrant of her leaving and says that she wants to see a sneak preview before she goes. When Liza brings Vikrant juice, she helps him to stand up and he purposefully trips causing them both to fall on the bed. Abhay sees this and is disturbed. Liza follows him and after he expresses his annoyance, she realises that he jealous of Vikrant and apologises, saying that from now she will make sure not to do anything that will hurt him.
Rama overhears this and is worried. She expresses her concern to Ranbir who is tensed to hear this but diverts her mind by reminding her of Abhay's birthday. Rama is happy as she remembers this.
Vikrant goes to Liza's room and asks about Abhay's reaction. Liza assures him that there are no problems between her and Abhay. Lajjo overhears and is concerned. She sits with Uday who tells her about Abhay's birthday – Lajjo is happy to hear this as then Liza and Abhay will spend time together. Uday smiles and says that she is sweet to think about everyone so much and says that he loves her.
The family sit planning Abhay's surprise birthday. After everyone leaves, Banwari asks Ranbir if they should throw Liza out now as Rekha is not here. Ranbir refuses and says that first they should think about Vikrant.

Abhay is driving home and thinks that Liza must have planned a surprise for him like always. He goes to his room and is hurt to see Liza sleeping. He leaves and Liza follows him, wishing him Happy Birthday. Abhay is surprised and happy as she takes him to a room filled with candles and balloons. They cut the cake and Liza gifts him a guitar and asks him to sing.
Abhay smiles and sings for her. Vikrant watches this from his room.
Morning…
Dadi wishes Abhay and gifts hima watch, saying that Dadaji had picked out the same one for Uday as well.
Lajjo is praying to Mata Rani and asks for no problems to arise between Abhay and Liza. The diya starts flickering and a concerned Lajjo puts her hand near the flame to prevent it going out. Uday does the same and they smile at each other. He promises her that they will face all problems like this together. UL hug.
Later the family wishes Abhay and Dadi asks about Liza who comes down supporting Vikrant. Abhay is unhappy to see this. Vikrant holds his hand forward to wish Abhay who ignores it. Liza presses Abhay and he briefly shakes Vikrant's hand before talking to Ranbir.
Abhay gets a phone call and leaves to receive it. The landline rings and Liza picks it up, confused at the mention of a party. Ranbir takes the phone of her and Liza smiles as she realises the family has planned a surprise party.
Abhay comes back and Vikrant smirks. He says to himself that today's Abhay's birthday will not bring him happiness.

Lajjo is in the kitchen with Rama and Naina. Uday comes to the doorway and signals to Lajjo to join him. Lajjo shakes her head and tries to send him away but Rama notices her lost look and with a smile leaves the kitchen. Uday comes in and sends Naina away, before taking Lajjo's hand and telling her that he's brought a sari for her and asks her to wear it tonight. Lajjo is hesitant but when Uday sulks, she agrees.
Liza goes to Vikrant and asks him to get dresses quickly. Vikrant refuses and asks her to go and have fun. Liza leaves and Vikrant smirks, saying that Abhay will remember this birthday for the rest of his life as Liza will be with him [Vikrant]
Uday takes Abhay to place where the party is held. The whole family wish him Happy Birthday and Abahy is surprised and greets everyone.
Uday spots Lajjo and follows her around the hall. He holds her hand and Lajjo blushes before pushing him and hurrying away, she bumps in to Anjana who glares at her in the sari. Lajjo looks down and leaves.
Liza dances to Soniye for Abhay. They then dance together on U, Me Aur Hum songs as everyone applauds.
Dadi tells Abhay that there is one more surprise for him. She points towards Dadji. Abhay is happy to see him, as is the rest of the family. Uday addresses everyone and says that they will start the night with a dance by a very sweet young couple – and that couple is Dada and Dadi.
Dadaji is stunned and refuses but Dadi insists. The lights go of and Dadi dances. Dadaji follows and dances to 'Oh meri Zorjabeen' as the family smiles and claps.
Back at the house, Vikrant plots how to get Liza to come home.

Uday and Lajjo dance to 'Chand Mera Dil'. Vinay watches them and imagines himself dancing with Lajjo to 'Tum Dil Ki'.
At the house; Vikrant pretends to be in pain and orders Nandu to ring Liza. Nandu is reluctant but tries to ring Liza's number. Naina, who holds the mobile, sees it ringing and looks for Liza. Meanwhile, everyone dances and Vinay is unhappy to see Lajjo with Uday.
The family sing 'Kya Kehna' as they bless Abhay. Naina takes Liza to one side and gives her the mobile. Liza picks up and Nandu informs her about Vikrant. Liza tells him to ring the doctor and then ring her back. Vikrant is unhappy to hear this but once Nandu leaves, he rings the doctor back and pretending to be Nandu, assures the doctor that everything is okay and he doesn't need to come.
Vikrant then disables the phone and is determined to have Liza back.
At the party, Liza continuously rings home but can't get through. Before she can try his mobile, Abhay pulls her away and dances with her. Banwari sees her tensed and becomes curious. Liza manages to get through to Vikrant's mobile. Nandu picks up and tells Liza that the doctor hasn't arrived.
The cake is brought out and Abhay feeds everyone. He asks for Liza and Banwari informs them that he had seen her talking on the phone.
Liza is shown driving home as Abhay tries to call her but she doesn't notice his call. Ranbir asks him where Liza is and Abhay says that he has an idea where she is. The clock strikes 12 and Abhay leaves. The family are tensed.
