28th July Written Update

• Characters introduced
• Shankar loses his temper on Gayatri
• Karan-Shourya clash
• Goons come after Shourya

The story starts in Dronacharya academy with a rugby game. The crowd cheers for the team captain Shourya as he runs with the ball. The opponent, Karan, of the other team trips him over and a penalty is announced as Shourya's girlfriend screams foul and berates the other team. On the ground, Shourya clutches his knee and a friend advises him not to kick as his leg is injured. However Shourya insists despite Karan's threatening him that the kick can hurt his leg further. Shourya takes the kick and wins the game for his team. Everyone cheers and Simran – Shourya's girlfriend – does a happy dance and runs to hug Shourya.

Shourya pulls away embarrassed and Simran frowns at him saying that this is her right as she is his official girlfriend. He replies that no one can win against her and Simran smiles saying that this is why he should keep quiet, after all he'll have to do that after their wedding so he should practise now.

Canteen…

Shourya, Simran and two of his friends are celebrating and congratulate him on making the state team. However Shourya replies that more important that sports is studies as this is his fathers dream. He explains how his father and Shankar Bhairay built up thei company with their hardwork and so he has to fulfil their dream and do well in his exams. He adds how his mother starts praying when exams are near.

A house is shown. Shourya's mum and a young girl are shown praying. The girl keeps checking her watch and hurries the Arthi. Her mom scolds her saying that she shouldn't have rushed with the arthi as it was for Shoruya's exams. The girl smiles saying that Shourya does all the hard work and she does a puja and gets all the credit for it. Swati [the daughter] also asks her mother to keep a Vrat for her exams but her mother teases her that she will get the blame if Swatri fails.

Swati starts to head for college and her mother tells her to take Dharma. Swati moans that he drives the car so slow but her mother becomes stern and tells her to take Dharma. Swati stamps her foot saying that everyone still thinks her of as a kid and storms of.

The pandit asks the mother for help regarding some sort of ceremony for his son. Maa replies that her husband is out fo town but she'll talk to her Shankar as he is always willing to help people.

Shankar's room…

Shankar sweetly talks to his unborn child and asks if he wants anything. Chocolate? Ice-cream? Gayatri [his wife] pulls him up and says that she wants strawberry ice-cream. Shankar replies that he was asking his child and Gayatri smiles saying that her childs choice is her choice. They have a cute moment as Shankar hugs her and wonders whether their child will be a boy or a girl. She replies that as long as it has a good upbringing then she is happy.

Shankar says that if it's a boy then eh should eb exactly like his father. They bother become serious on hearing this and Shankar corrects himself saying that he should be like Shourya. Gayatri looks upseta s she says she must be the first mother in the world who doesn't want her child to be a mirror of her husband. She asks why his parents didn't think the same about him [Shankar]. Shankar loses his temper and tells her not to repeat the same thing continuously. Maa comes in and asks for some help. Shankar agrees and leaves.

Dronacharya Academy…

Simran tries to convince Shourya to bunk class and watch a movie with her. He refuses but after much pleading from her side, he promises to take her on a picnic and a long drive. Simran is happy to hear this and hugs him again. Karan appears with his friends from behind and asks Simran what she si doing with a monkey like Shourya. He blocks Shourya's way and threatens him to stay out of his path. Simran loses her temper but Shourya stays calm and doesn't rise to the bait; adding that he ahs already given his answer [Referring to when he won the rugby match].

Karan is angry and leaves with his friends. Simran frowns at Shourya and when he calms her down, she tells him to keep his philosophy to himself at storms of.

Canteen…

Simran talks to herself and says to herself that she had to fall in lovw with such a man. She wonders how Shourya can remain calm all the time. Watch him so peaceful makes her angry. The peon tells Simran that the principal is waiting for her. Simran panics thinking that he wants to talk about her attendance and hurries to the principals office but is surprised to see Shourya there, along with Karan and his friends.

The principal asks Simran if Karan and his friends misbehaved with her and Shourya. Simran nods and the Principal thanks Shourya for reporting this and he won't tolerate this in his college. Simran adds that Karan also misbehaves on the field and explains how he tripped Shourya over.

The Principal suspends Karan and warns him that if he does this again then he will be permanently excluded. The principal also tells him to apologise to Shourya. Karan does so but thinks to himself that Shourya will pay for this.

Simran is impressed with Shourya for going to the principal. He replies that his Shourya brother had taught him discipline. Simran reminds him to meet her brother and impress him; that is if he gets free from all his clients, after all he's such a big lawyer. Shourya promises Simran lunch who cheers up and hugs him.

Shankar's room…

Gayatri looks through her pregnancy reports. Shanakr comes in and asks her what the reports say but she ignores him. He realises that she is still mad at him and apologises, holding out some gajra for her. Gayatri still looks the other way. Shankar holds her and tickles her until she laughs and says that he' forgiven.

Shankar thanks her and puts his head in his lap, asking what the report said. She asks him about his plans tomorrow as she has to meet the doctor for ultrasonography. Shankar is confused and asks her what that is. When Gayatri explains, Shourya becomes excited and says that he will cancel any meeting to see his child on screen. Gayatri smiles and they hug.

Dronacharya Academy…

Shourya is studying. Simran rings him and asks him if he is missing her. Shourya replies that she is crazy and hangs up. Outside, some goons get in to the building and bully the boys there for Shourya's room number. Shoruya's friends overhear and try to get away but Pande and the goons corner them and fore the answer out.

Ravi [Shourya's friend] rings and warns Simran who becomes frustrated when she can't get through to Shourya.

The goons barge in to Shourya's room but don't find him there. They go outside where they find Shourya studying and surround him. Shourya is confused to see them and asks them who they are. Pande throws away Shourya's book and punches him in the face. The goons surround him and hold him down whilst one comes forward to break his leg.

Maa asks Shankar if he will eb going for the sonography. Gayatri smiles and says that he always wants to be involved when the child is concerned. Just then Shankar's phone rings.
