Priyanka learn's from her mistakes

Priyanka Chopra believes in learning from her earlier mistakes. After being a witness to Love Story 2050's box office standing being largely affected because its release date clashed with that of Jaane Tu …Ya Jaane Na, Priyanka has now made sure that two of her films- Tarun Mansukhani's Dostana and Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion do not release on the same day - November 14.
Our source says, "Priyanka, UTV's Ram Mirchandani and Madhur Bhandarkar had a joint meeting to solve the issue of the clashing release dates of both of Priyanka's films. The meeting lasted for a long time.
Priyanka expressed her opinion and said that since both her films Dostana and Fashion has her playing glamorous roles, she did not want both the films to release on the same date.
Even UTV agreed to her point of view as Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Returns is also scheduled to be released on the same day.
"According to sources, Priyanka is very confident about her performance in Fashion, as it is a hard-hitting film, which takes on the fashion industry. At the same time she has a lot of expectations from Dostana too. Hence, she did not want either of her films to clash and eat at each other's business, which is bound to happen if they release on the same date.
The source adds, "Everybody agreed with Priyanka and came to the conclusion that they should change the release date of Fashion if they want it to do good business. Also, Fashion is a big film for the production house and they are keen to give it the best possible release.
Hence, Fashion will now release on October 17 instead of November 14. Everyone concerned is happy with the decision and are looking forward to the two-month-long promotion for the film."
Fashion also stars Kangana Ranaut, Mugdha Godse and Arjan Bajwa and is a joint production by UTV Motion Pictures and Bhandarkar Entertainment. Ram Mirchandani, Madhur Bhandarkar and Priyanka Chopra remained unavailable for comment.
