Today, the Telly Chakkar team checks out the rehearsal halls and studios in suburban Mumbai where the celebrities are getting ready to dance the nights away, practicing for the fifth Indian Telly Awards . Short interviews and sound bytes go on till late night, but no one's complaining.

8.00 pm

Tassnim Sheikh is rehearsing at the Sameer Studio in Versova. Tassnim is engrossed with her cell phone until Mini, assistant of choreographer Geeta Kapoor turns up. As soon as she makes her presence felt, Tassnim switches off her phone, and gets down to business. Our photographer does the same!. Despite being tired, she moves her hips non stop. This is what we call true spirit!

8.30 pm

We decide to rush to Shariq Studio where Aamna Shariff and Rajeev Khandelwal are getting back the old chemistry of the Kahiin To Hoga days. The rehearsal lasts for an hour, is exhausting, but there are no complaints. While Rajeev learns his steps from the assistants, Aamna sits with the choreographer and shares her designing tips. When the two team to give sound bytes they make an even better pair off screen. Worn out from the shooting and rehearsing for the event, the two make a move by 10 pm.

10.05 pm

Enter the masterji. Geeta Kapoor talks to our team about how excited she is choreographing in the Indian Telly Awards for the second time. As soon as she gives her bit, she rushes down to whack the artists for better performances!

10.15 pm

Shama Sikander in a ravishing red tee and red bandana beautifully moves her body to a latest Bollywood number at Shariq hall. Shama is all set to perform on Sunday, as she is done with rehearsing. Our team reaches the Starlight Studio at Oshiwara and catches the striking lady giving sound bytes.

10.40 pm

The day would be incomplete without having a look at the venue. The team sprints to the ground to check the lighting.

11.15 pm

We again reach to the Shariq Studio, where we have some more stars coming in for the run through. We first catch hold of Mansi Verma, who comes in for the first time to rehearse. She quickly goes through the dance steps and puts on her dancing shoes. Our photographer captures an excited Mansi's look through out.

While Mansi gives us her sound bytes, Karishma Tanna makes a loud entry. Karishma looks more excited than anyone to see two packets of McDonalds' eatery waiting for her. A tired Karishma gives us her sound bytes even as she takes a bite of the delicious burger! Then she moves on to the dance floor. A must say -- the two are extremely good at picking up steps!

12.30 am

Back to where we started! We reach office and head towards our CEO's cabin to take his sound byte. Mr. Anil Wanwari loaded with excitement, nervousness and thrill talks to us about the fifth Indian Telly Awards.

At 1.30 we end the day's work. But it's just the start! We look forward to another day full of excitement, frantic calls and yes, hope. A hope to make The Fifth Indian Telly Awards larger than life!
