FINALLY, PRIYANKA CELEBRATES HER B'DAY

Priyanka Chopra is different from many of her star colleagues inasmuch as many of them have entered into Bollywood via world beauty pageants. This Miss World 2000 at 18 only with large twinkling eyes and the most fascinating smile has had a very varied upbringing. Having joined an Army family, she moved from Ladakh (Leh) in the north to Kerala in the south, from Mumbai in the west to Jamshedpur in the East where she was born in 1982. Thus, she imbibed the ethos of the multicultural Indian society. From a short stay at Maria Goretti College in Bareilly she studied in USA. Having completed class 10th from Boston she decided to become a software Engineer or a Criminal Psychologist. However, the destiny made her win the Miss Bareilly contest and later the World pageant.

Her interest in Indian music and dance, flair for writing poetry and short stories, besides reading biographies and participation in social welfare programs motivated her into acting. So, Priyanka did a three-month acting course in Mumbai and signed up films in Hindi and Tamil. She made her Bollywood debut with 'The Hero: Lovestory of A Spy' opposite Sunny Deol but had her first commercial success with 'Andaaz' opposite Akshay Kumar. For that, she even won Filmfare for best debut. With her fantastic performance in 'Aitraaz', she won many critical acclaims and she became the second woman to win the Filmfare for best villain in Indian Cinema. With her back-to-back hit list like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', 'Krrish', 'and Don - The Chase Begins' she soon established herself as one of the most sought after actresses in the industry.

Though her recent release 'Love Story 2050' opposite her boyfriend Harman Baweja could not dominate the Box-office, she is moving too fast towards becoming the topmost heroine of Bollywood. She is eagerly awaiting her two movies - 'Fashion' and 'Drona' to hit the screens before the end of this year. The gorgeous 'Krissh' girl is ready to 'Don' her party dress this week as she celebrates her 26th birthday in style. She hasn't celebrated her birthday for years due to her busy work schedule coupled with her father's illness last year. In fact, the last her last three birthdays were celebrated on the sets while shooting for movies. However, friends have persuaded Priyanka to throw a bash as this time round. It's a coincidence that Priyanka's younger brother Siddharth's b'day fell on July 12th and that of sister on the 18th. Hence, Priyanka's birthday party will be a double celebration this time for both brother and sister. And, the host-cum-guest is none other than her reel hero of Priyanka's 'Love Story 2007', Harman Baweja

That is nice that she celebrated it for once and yeh werid coincidence about her brother as for Love story yeh it did ok which is fine for a newcomer and priyanka to be honest as you build on success shes definetly good to be one of the best.
