A special Dargah song, which was sung by the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, was shot for Bidaai last week. It is a very important sequence where Ragini (Parul Chauhan) and Ranvir (Kinshuk Mahajan) are going together for the first time to seeking blessings from God.
Parul, who shot for the sequence, an entire day says, "They erected a dargah like Haji Ali at Russian Villa in Malad. I reached there at 6.30 am and the set was amazing. They took care of every small thing – the way of the dargah through water, the flowers etc. The atmosphere was so pure that we felt like we are really at Haji Ali."
She adds, "It was an important sequence as both of us were going out together for the first time to seek blessings for us and our families. The sequence of the song is only for four minutes but it took us an entire day for us to finish shooting it. After two broken marriages, Ragini is hoping for true love this time. Moreover she told Allah that if her sister Sadhana's husband gets alright then she will come back to the dargah again."
She further explains, "We enjoyed this shoot a lot. I was shooting with Kinshuk after a long time and we did a lot of masti on the sets. We had some dance sequence too and got that feel of being at an auspicious place so in reality too we prayed for our show and us."
The shoot got over at 12 midnight and the episode featuring this will be aired on Thursday (July 17).
