This is atina's note: As such we have so much confussion going on due to this revamping stuff of the site and the members are getting frustrated.....please be patient and soon all the problems will be taken care. Right now there are three updaters for this serial Kutty Simba, Patraj and Netra.....And as you all see there are already two updates. But it is ok......I take this chance to request to these three updaters to sort out the days for updates....So that it is not a big burdon on one member totally.

Once again I thank Kutty Simba, Patraj and Netra....

Monday, July 14, Episode 001

A amman temple and is shown and the camera zooms into the amman temple. Mariamman in your moolsathanam is smiling and giving her blessing to devotees who are praying. Karthik is praying to the amman saying 'Amma bless akka that is she will get a good job and that him and his whole family would carry her around like a gold'. At the same time lady is praying to and she asks ' Amma Rajini is nice girl has gone through hard time many time you should bless her and gives her a good life'. In comes Rajini smiling in front of Amman and they prays to amman saying 'My family all should live a happy life and should live happy plus my brother and sister should earn a good life.. I don't care about me but my family'. The priest does the pooja to Amman and he comes out and gives the prasadham and they all leaving including Rajini sister. While heading a ouside a poor lady come with her son begging for food and money. Rajini looks at her sadly and asks her ' Why are you making your son beg while he can study'. She bends to the boy and says to him 'You shouldn't beg but study that we you can live a good life' and boy agrees. Rajini asks the money she gave to Karthik and ask for the whole money. Karthik is counting the money but Rajini interfering saying this is not the time to do thing like that and gives the entire whole to her. Meanwhile a male is in auto coming come and its Rajini dad. He talk to too much to the auto driver that he gets enormous headache. Meanwhile Rajini is packing up for interview in Bangalore. Rajini home is piling up all of food and cream that Rajini could use. Rajini says how akka is going to use this all poor akka. Rajini tells her to stop saying that much she wants me to fine. Rajini does a little magic trick and gives small slip to her (I wonder what is going to be in there) and Rajini reads. Rajini is confused and her sister says that its all the thing she would buy for her. Rajini gives a glare to her sister which she goes silent. Rajini gives allot of money to her family so they can use and not give it her dad. Rajini goes to her purse to check is she has everything and all her money is gone. At that time her dad comes and asks where she is going. Rajini gets really fed up and says why did you take all the money but the father pretends as if they he didn't Rajini akka tells her not listen to him and will go to the near Atm bank and cash money out. Akka takes Rajini in the auto and everyone is in tears especially Rajini sobers.

Rajini goes inside the airport and sits waiting for the flight to arrive. While waiting a man randomly comes up and her to help. Rajini is all puzzled and confused knowing what to say. This guy says ' That his daughter needs to get the medicine he has with him to Bangalore but his is not able to get the tickets'. Rajini is quiet for some time and then aggress (There is begins for already soo much problems is going to come girl😉). Rajini takes and medicine and gives her name and phone so his brother and call and get the medicine from her (Medicine ya my foot this guy is fishy). Rajini arrives to Banglore and while she is walking outside and gets another phone call and this time from another male. This male says ' that his brother sent his medicine you and he will come and pick it up but will take time so ''you can go to the cancer and will pick is up from there'. Rajini agrees and leaves that male that spoke to her comes behind from where Rajini was speaking to him and picks up the phone and calls the male saying that the Saraku is coming.

Rajini is in her Taxi going to the Cancer hospital. At the same time Gang of men are following the taxi behind her. Rajini gets to the hospital and waits outside. The guy waiting for the Rajini tries to come but then the gang of Men come and circle her around that she cant escape. The Men coming for the saraku escapes in his Jeep. One of the male start questioning Rajini which makes her furious. She says everything from the call to where she is now. Rajini with anger asks if they are the police to ask all this. The police says he is and shows his ID. Rajini stays stunned hearing all this and is in deep shock Shocked Shocked Shocked . Constable says that you are carrying 'World wide Bodthai that will kill everyone' Therefore that Rajini is under arrest. Rajini is all scared and shocked''.....freeze

Rating of this episode was 4/4: Background music was good and haunting and certain scenes

Everyone acting was simply superb👏🏻👏🏻

I AM PLEASED TO UPDATE THE FIRST EPISODE OF THIS NEW SERIAL. I DO APOLOGIZE IF I AM OVERSTEPPING ANYONE.

July 14 (Mon): EPISOE 1

At Amman's temple, a young man (Mano of Kolangal), prays for the well being of his sister whom he says is everything for him. A lady too is praying for the well being of Ranjini, Ranjini (Ramya Krishnan) prays for everyone's well being, watched by the young man (Ranjini's brother)and the lady (Ranjini's sister). After taking prasadham from the priest, they walk out and is met by a begger woman and a little boy who says that her husband had left them and the little boy tells them he is hungry and needs food and asks for money. Ranjini tells the boy not to beg just because his mother tells him to. Ranjini gives the lady some money and tells her not to beg and instead to do some work.

A man is in an auto and asks the driver how much it cost to go to the airport. The driver tells him it costs $200 but the man tells him to ask $400 instead and to take the actual fare of $200 plus $50 and to give the balance to him. The driver asks who he is and is told that he is the head of the family. Ranjini is getting ready to do to Andra and her mother packs her bag with all the necessity. Ranjini's younger sister teases her mother about the amount of stuff the mother is packing. Ranjini tells her younger sister Meena not to tease their mother and to help her if she can. Meena gives Ranjini a list of things she wants her sister to buy for her. Ranjini tells Meena that she would not be able to by all the things with her pay. She tells her mother that she had given $1000 to brother Karthik and not to give the money to her husband. Meena then asks Ranjini for some money and she is not able to find the money she had in her hand bag. Her father just looks smug. Ranjini asks if her father had taken the money but he denies. Karthik tells her sister that for sure their father had taken the money. Ranjini is upset that she has no money and she is gong to a new place and don't know what she will do. He elder sister tells her to leave and she will take careof it on the way. Once they get on the auto, the elder sister tells the driver to stop at an ATM machine.

Ranjino's sister bids farewell to Ranjini and she goes inside and sits at the waiting room. A man is asking around for something and finally comes to her and asks her if she is going to Andra and Ranjini says yes. The man cries to her and tells her that he has some medicines for his grand daughter who is very serious and that he was not able to get a seat on the flight and begs her to help. Ranjini finally agrees to take the medicine for him. The man gives her the medicine and tells her that her son will meet her at the Hyderabad airport and get the medicine from her and leaves. HE then takes her cell no. The man then informs someone that the goods are on the way.

Ranjini arrives at Hydrabad Airport and she looks around for the receipient of the medicines but no oneis around. She then gets a call from a man. Balaji Rao asking about the medicines his 'father' had given him. Ranjini akss if he is in the airport but is told that he had a flat and is not able to come to the airport and asks her to come to the hospital and give the medicine to his brother. Ranjini at first tells him that she is new to Hyderabad and doesn't know how to get there. The man begs her to go the ot Non-American Cancer Hospital and finally Ranjini agrees. The man was actually sitting in the waiting area at the airport, He then calls someone else and tells them that Ranjini is coming to the hospital and for the person to meet her and get the goods from her and thank her. He tells the person that Ranjini looks very innocent.

Ranjini goes in a call taxi to the hospital and gets down. She waits outside the hospital. A man too comes there and gets down from a van. He call her and tells her that he is on the way and willbe there in a few minutes. Just then three bikes come there and surround her. One of hte man asks for the bag but Ranjini refuses and asks why they wnat the bag and who they are. Ranjini tells the man she has brought some medicine given by a man for his grand daughter. The man grabs the bag and takes out the medicine and pours the contends. Ranjini is shocked and asks why they are doing this and if they don't stop, she will call the police. The man then shows some identification and says they are police and that she has been smuggling drugs and that she is under arrest. Ranjini is totally shocked. THODARUM.

TUESDAY UPDATE EPISODE 2

At the police station.Inspector starts questioning. Ranjini explain to him really what had happen. The inspector says he can't really believe it. Ranjini tells him what happen upon reaching the airport and she was asked to go to cancer hospital. The inspector ask Ranjini why did she take the risk of bringing the medicine to Hydrabad when she does not know the man at all? She is here for some other work matter, so why must try to help someone she don't know. Ranjini is silent. Inspector suspects that Ranjini must be in the same group on bringing this drug in. Ranjini denies it and says she has got nothing to do with the drugs. Inspector ask her not to lie. He ask her to tell the truth as she can never take it if they question her in police way. Drugs is a big issue in this world. He keeps on blaming Ranjini. Inspector ask her finally if she is willing to tell the truth and the inspector will help her out from this. Ranjini starts crying and says she don't know anything. She is here regards to her work. Someone has cheated her. She begs them to leave her. Inspector ask his guys to remand Ranjini. She carries on begging but they do not listen to her. Inspector ask the other guy to inform the press. Ranjini is taken to the lady cell, they do the normal procedure on her.

A new family is shown. A lady is crying infront of her son's picture (Ganapathy from Bandham). A little boy passes her and the lady ask him where is he going. The boy says its Appa's thidi today. The lady scolds asking who is he for calling her son appa. The lady ask him not to came there for the thidi. The boy leaves sad.

Aiyar is doing the thidi. Aiyar ask the lady to call out her DIL and grandson. The lady says there is no such person. Only she will do the thidi for her son. (Behind her, her grandaughter is standing). Aiyar continues. The lady carries on grumbling she had to do this thidi for her son when her son suppose to do it for her. Grandaughter ask her patti why talking like this while they are doing thidi for appa. The lady carries on her polambal. The lady ask her where is her mother? They show us a pair of hands wearing bangles. The lady carries on the thidi. A lady is wearing flower and putting potte on her head. The old lady carries on her polambal. Its okay to wear potte for safetly, but her DIL is wearing pottu, flower and bangles at home also and here they are doing thidi for her husband.

Next they show a lady. Its Ranjini's elder sister. She stands infront of the picture and tells him only he knows the reason why she is using flower and potte. She can't even tell the truth to her own kids also. She is feeling so much guilty right now. Outside the hall, the old lady is still crying about her son's faith. She tells her grandaughter that her mother is the reason for her son dying. The girl tries to calm her. Ranjini sister cames out from the room. Her MIL starts her polambal again. Ranjini sister turns and gives a look, smiles and leave.

A group of rowdies are talking about Ranjini being caught in police. They are talking about this business. This group is wondering who is Ranjini, is she from another group of drug dealers. They decide to find out more about Ranjini's group.

Ranjini sitting in a jail with a group of other ladies. Suddenly there is a fight between 2 ladies there. Ranjini is scared looking at this. One of the lady there is a big rowdy. Ten years she has been in that jail. She notice Ranjini and goes to her and ask if she is new. She questions Ranjini and ask why she is here. Ranjini keeps quite. The lady slaps Ranjini for staring at her. Ranjini tells what really had happen. The lady ask her not to lie. She takes a pin from her head and starts poking at Ranjini's hand. A police woman cames there and tries to stop her. The lady name Swarna, not scared of the police. She treatens the police woman and that stupid lady leaves them. Swarna ask Ranjini to tell her the truth tomorrow and leaves. Ranjini sits and cries.

Ranjini has flashback on her family. Her mother cooking and Ranjini talking to her. Then father torturing her mother, and Ranjini feeding her mother. Ranjini sits and cries, missing her mother so much. Thodarum

Episode 003

A jail lady comes and lends a hand to the mistreated Rajini. Rajini with pain and sorrow manages to get up. The jail lady explains about the girl who harmed her. she says that she escaped from outside from her job and ran inside by pushing others. She is not a nice and that see also killed a innocent lady dreadfully. Jail lady says to be on the where out for the women next time as she can attack anytime. She says she will do all her best to get her out off the jail and even asks the same question the police asked about the medicine got into her hand and how she knew them. Rajini all scared and tired of answering back says the same thing she is doesn't know how all this happened. The jail lady gives sigh and says to her that she is innocent lady and will help her get out in bail by getting a lawyer(These Hyderbad police are so annoying will do anything to get the answer of the victims).......Meanwhile back to Sangeetha home (Rajini akka or else Rajini father sister). Uma her daughter comes up to her and asks 2000rps. Sangeetha gets all annoyed and answers her back saying that why cant you just go get a shower and use shampoo rather then wasting on thing that is not going to help. Sangeetha says no and leaves that is when her Meany Mamiyar comes starts her polampal. She tries to be suck up to Uma by being mean to Sangeetha who doesn't care what she cares and answers her back righteously👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Mamiyar gets really anger at the moment. That is when Sangeetha son comes asks for 200rp so can go touring and she agrees to to give money. Mamiyar tells the boy to shut up and but sangeetha tells you dont tell that to my son and mine your own business👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 and the Mamiyar leaves with anger. Sangeetha with happiness in her face agrees to give her the money.

Karthik is going with his sister somewehre and she stops him and gives him a Nukal and they start chasing each other ( thank god this guy does not annoying role in this serial😉). Back at the Rajini house Rajnii mother is massaging her husband legs who is sleeping like a king (Mr. King watch one day I will come and give you massages and your legs will be disabled from that day one how dare you make a money suffering) . Meanwhile some lady comes asking for the money they have to pay for everything. Scared Rajini mother goes up to her and tries to calm her down before her greatful husband Angry

comes. Thanks god at the time like a life safer Sangeetha came and she paid the money. Rajini felt really greatful to have friend like and Rajini as well. Sangeetha came there becasue she forgot to give her oil and got in time before the problem started. While they were talking Mr. King comes and starts his talk. In a rude why he is asking Sangee what happened to Rajini and if that he should phone her office and ask. Sangee lying to him says that her phone has been switches and will call them. He leaves and Rajni mother asks about her family and Sangeetha with some emotions says that her family is not going to change abit. Rajini mother says that to tell them all the truth who is your husband and your sibliing father(Wait Wait a second this lady is hiding something and that why that Evil Mamiyar is shouting because of her son death something fishy is happening time to investiage😆😉). Sangee says is she says that then the family problem is going to become and into world issue. Sangee gives and oil to Rajni mother and leaves with a smile. ( Kudo to Sangee she does have the power to stand to Pombalai like her Mamiyar👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻)

Back at Hyderbad.......... Police are trying to find away to make the truth come out of Rajini mouth and Jailer lady who spoke to her told that she told a lawyer will come and that will her....Police agree and Lawyer comes. Rajini is taken to guest speaking room. Lawyer with all his power beggs Rajini to sign a document that will her get out on bail. But Rajini stay firm and not sign. But later what the lawyer said and agrees and sign the document. The camera zoom on to Rajini signature...freeze

Payya, thanks for the updates kanna. But there is some amendments, hope you dun mind my correcting you naa. Cast list have been amended at the front page naa🥰

Sanggetha did not rescue Saradha from the money problem. Actually Saradha gave the money to Sanggetha to keep as its not safe to keep it at home. Sanggetha is suppose to pass the money morning before going to work but she forgot. And Saradha ask Sanggetha, who is Gopi's father as Gopi only born 2 years after her husband died. If Sanggetha tells the truth, maybe her MIL and daughter will accept gopi into the family. But Sanggetha says if she tells the truth, a big disaster will happen so its better for her to remain silent now

Back at Hydrabad. The jailer is actually talking to the rowdies who are dealing with drugs. Their group is suppose to be the only group dealing with drugs but now their think Ranjini is from another new group. So they want to catch the new group as not to disturb their business. So the lawyer is send by them. I think the document she is signing is something to do with the rowdies kanna.

THURSDAY UPDATE EPISODE 5

Ranjini is to be send to Chennai police custody for inquiry. The jailer lady is told to get Ranjini ready. Jailer calls her drug boss leader and tells him that Ranjini will be send to Chennai today. Looks like they can't get Ranjini. The man tells her not to worry and cuts the line.

Meena mets her college friends and they start chatting. She parks her bike in the middle of the road. A car cames there and start honing. After a while this new character (Nirigan's wife in Arasi) snaps her finger and calls Meena and her friends. Meena ask her friend who is the girl and her friend says its first year student. Meena says first year and so much of timire. Just ignore her. The girl then just bangs her bike and leaves from there. Meena is shock.

Other the other side, Karthik and his friends are talking. (Not to important so i'm skipping it) Karthik notice Meena dragging her bike. Meena tells Karthik what happen and how the car hit the bike. Karthik scolds her first and says she don't know how to appreaciate what Ranjini bought. After a while he ask why did the girl hit her bike. Meena says its some rich girl. When she is on road, no vehicle must came in middle. Karthik's friend tells him this must be a timiri girl so don't scold Meena. Karthik ask where is the girl now and Meena says in college. Karthik follows her there.

They reach college and Karthik stoops the girl. He ask her where is her car and she ask for what. He says to break it. He scolds her for behaving really rude and think the road belongs to her. She tells Karthik to stop arguing with her and ask her sister what had happen. She waited in the car long and had hon but his sister ignore her. Meena say she did not ignore. Meena got angry because She sat in the car and snap her finger to Meena and friends. After all Meena is senior and she is first year student. Karthik says her body is full of timire. Both start arguing. Karthik says he don't care and ask her to pay for the the bike or else he will destroy her car. She takes the money out of her bag and throws it at Karthik's face and says porikiko. Karthik goes to her and give her one hard slap and ask her to pick up the money. She picks it sup and give it to him. Karthik leaves with his sister.

The villi looks at them and keeps thinking about the slap and gets really angry. She goes back home and complains to her mother Chandramathi. Chandramathi is angry for what Karthik did to her daughter. She is a real big badrakali in this drama. Big villi for this drama. She ask her guys to go and show Karthik who is Chandramathi. No one must dare to even look at their eyes. Chandramathi tells her daughter from tomorrow Meena will not came to college anymore. Daughter says don't do that, pity that girl. Chandramathi does not care. She ask her guy to call police and put Karthik in prison.

3 men comes to Jail. They are from Chennai and are there to take Ranjini with them. The warden is shock and ask them what are they talking. Just earlier, few people from Chennai Custom department had taken Ranjini (Gosh, i think the bad guys got hold of Ranjini already...) Warden lady gets tensed and worried. She shows them a letter given by the other group claiming the same. The guys are confused how came the court order given to their office is with someone else. The officers are angry and ask warden how can she be careless. Warden says she is not wrong, she checked the court order first and then only released Ranjini to that group. The officers now wonders where is Ranjini.

Ranjini is kept in a different place. Two guys comes into the room and Ranjini gets worried. The guys keeps asking Ranjini about how she got the drugs. Ranjini starts crying and tells the same story. They guys ask if Ranjini remembers the guy face that gave her the drugs. She says yes. The guy opens his laptop ans shows few pictures to Ranjini to identify. None of the pictures matches. Ranjini tells him the old mand is age between 50-60. The guys call a small girl name Neina. They ask Neina to take Ranjini to the old gudon and keep her there safetly. The girl is so nice and she talks kindly to Ranjini. She advice Ranjini to be careful here.

Karthik and his friends are sitting and talking about an interview for Karthi. A policeman comes there and says inspector wants to see him. He goes near the jip and the inspector ask if why did he try to kidnaps college student. He beats Karthik and pushes him into the jip. Thodarum

FRIDAY UPDATE EPISODE 5

Chandramathi's mama comes to see her. He informed her the horse race in banglore, they have lost. Chandramathi says someone has played out her this time. Only she decides which horse to came first and which horse to came last. Looks like someone is trying to play with her. Chandramathi must not loose for anything. She ask her uncle to shot the horse that has lost the race and the rider must not ride horse anymore. Her daughter comes there and beg her mother not to shot the horse. Its her favourite horse. Chandramathi ask her daughter not to interfere. There is no sentimental in their lives. Chandramathi ask her mama to go ahead with her plan. He leaves. Police calls Chandramathi and tells her they had arrested Karthik. Chandramathi ask the police to make sure he suffers three. Daughter is happy to hear this. Chandramathi advice her daughter on how to behave in this society.

Ranjini is taken to a gurdon by the little girl. There are many small kids there doing work. They are packing drugs in small packets. Ranjini is shock to see all the kids there. A rowdy is beating a small boy for not doing his work properly. The girl says this rowdy is very bad. He always beats childrens here. Ranjini watches everything.

Ranjini father is sitting and looking at the horse race results and cursing his luck. He scolds his wife to quickly bring the soup for him. Meena comes there and they start talking and then father ask where is Karthik. Sweata comes to Meena and tells her Karthik is arrested. Mother gets really worried. Father continues to insult Karthik. They both go to police station.

At the police station, Karthik says his side of story. The police tells him how influence Chandramathi is in this society. Karthik tries to talk out his side but the police refuse to listen. Karthik mother and sister comes there. Police tells Meena what had happen. Karthik ask them to leave. Meena tells her brother she will sort of this problem.

Ranjini is sitting and still looking at the kids. She feels pity for them. Ranjini ask the little girl how she end up here. The girl says they have been kidnapped two years back. Ranjini cries hearing all this. Suddenly she hears a little girl crying and the rowdy is pulling her in. Looks like he is going to rape her. Ranjini goes there and helps the little girl. The rowdy starts chasing Ranjini and says he will sleep with any girls. Ranjini gets angry and takes an iron bar and hit the rowdy's head. He dies. Thodarum

Monday Update

Kaslam Episode 006

Sangeetha is feeding her son and of no where the son asks why everyone is mad at him and ask if because she (Sangee) did anything wrong. Sangee asks her son would your mother ever do anything and because strictly her son says that my mother would never do such thing😉. She finishes feeding him and sends to done thing by himself. Meanwhile the uma comes in charging complaining all the time why she is always on him kissing him and etc. She asks her to come and get ready. Sangee is puzzled and asks why and she says that to go to the store because the latest sari and come and that she wants to buy it. Sangee gives her long speech saying that 'I am just only a ordinary teacher earning a small amount of money and on top all of this you are asking for money why ma'..plus this house is under rent and you want to buy things on top of this'. Uma gets angry and then is when Sangee Mamiyar comes in screaming all the time why always hating uma. Sangee shuts her up once again because her Mamiyar says 'If its wasn't for my son who wasn't here we wouldn't have this entire problem I would rather sell my head and😆buy things for Uma😡' which makes Sangee angry and screams making her leave. Sangee then changes her mind and says uma to get ready and so they both and can so buy the sari. That is when Rajini mother and sister come crying into sangee saying that Karthik got arrested. Sangee gets worried and says that she will go talk to her lawyer and get him out. Sangeee apologizes to Uma and says that she is sorry. Uma finally says 'I have shown care towards to this family ever only that family'. This makes Sangee go sad. (Poor Sangee a strong women but too much family problem especially her terrible making daughter and Mamiyar''kudos' to for standing up to them strong🤗)

Sangee arrives to the jail with her lawyer and go speak to the police constable while karthik is watching all this. Sangee asks why karthik arrested and the police says because he tried to kidnap a 1^st class family girl…….and that family member has high power in control. The lawyer asks what family and police says "Chandramathi". Hearing this the lawyer goes in deep shock and tells that lady is mad powerful lady it is impossible to get karthik out of jail since she has allot of power….Sangee gives a sigh and goes talk to karthik who doesn't want his akka Rajini to know about all this. Sangee says she will try all her best to get himout of jail and leaves…………..Meanwhile at Rajini house her dad is going mad because of his son going to jail and is speaking non stop meany words. Meena who is sitting and hearing all this bearing every thing that he is saying to his Saradha who else is there is getting mad. He says something really bad and Meena gets up and talks back to him. This makes Rajini dad mad and slaps her across the face badly making Saradha running and yelling to stop all that. He says that to to go beg on the girl leg to forgive what she did and let of her brother karthik.

Scene of the day

Meena and her friend are sitting and talking thinking about what to do. Her friend as well said that her father says that girl might have soft side and release Karthik……..Meanwhile at Hyderabad A bunch of Gundas are on the ground crying in pain as pile of policemen are beating then and one of them is the guy that Rajini hit really hard on the head. The Main police is shouting at them for hiding small children and doing things secretly…..Meanwhile speaking worker comes up and tells that P.police person and has come and she was behind all this…………………In come Rajini in her white police uniform smilling👏. While she is walking all the gundas are shocked and especially the one who got it badly. Rajini comes and introduces her Priducal officer(no sure if am right here) and came here unknown to find all this actions taking place😉. The main police male is shocked😲😲😲 and congratulated her widely. Rajini says that the guys are behind a big gang who are up to something and they computer that he had in their hidden place got erased and she knew they were going to do it. Rajini says that she has her treatment that will make things come out of their mouths (Aha Rajini has something in common good at torturing😛). Rajini asks for help which the police says will give full support and Rajini thanks him and salutes him……….freeze

July 22 (Tues):

EPISODE 7

Ranjini and another officer enter their superior's room. An elderly officer sits at a desk with another two officers a male (The police officer from Lakshmi) and Vanaja. The superior officer congratulates Ranjini for her success in arresting the drug dealers and helping the children escape. The two other officers are not too happy with the praise and tell their superior that Ranjini was only successful in saving the children and arresting the workers but did not get any detail on the ring leader. All this is due to Ranjini's emotions and she did not wait to get more details. The other officer who came with Ranjini (don't know his name) get angry but says nothing. Ranji then explains her situation and tells her boss she did what she could. The boss then tells them to go and when everyone leaves, congratulates Ranjini again. Outside the office, the office who is Rajini's friend tells her not to get upset. Ranji asks how they can talk like that but when the boss asked who is willing to do the job they all kept quiet. HEr friend tells her not to worry about it.

Aishwarya, the rich girl is on her cell talking. Meena goes there and tells Aishwarya she needs to talk to her but he is ignored. Meena asks agains and after a few requests, Aiswarya hangs up and asks what Meena wants. Meena apologizes and asks Aishwarya's help to release her brother Karthik from jail because since his arrest her mother had not eaten and she is afraid that this may affect her health. Meena falls at Aiswarya's feet and begs her. Aiswarya feels bad and tells Mena not to worry as she will tell her mother to release Karthik.

At the home front, Meena's useless father is pestering his wife for money. Wife tells she has no money, but husband tells her to bring the kadugu dappa. The wife brings the dappa and gives to the husband who opens it and finds $300 inside. He takes the money happily. Wife explains that the money is to buy gas for the house but husband says he needs to eat otherise he will have problems and then they would need more money for his treatment. Meena walks in and the father scold her as the useless daughter who always causes problem for him. Ranjini returns and her father immediately how she is and why she did not call him for so many days. Ranjini tells him that she could not call due to work. He then asks if Ranjini wants to eat something and he will buy for her as he had earned $300 that day. Ranjini tells him no Ranjini turns to her mother and asks what is wrong and why she is looking sad. Her mother tells of Karthik's arrenst and father joins in and says that it is because Karthik had hit a rich girl.

Chandramathi is talking to someone about a balance sheet. She gets a call from the police inspector who asks for a written complaint. Aishwarya goes to her mother and asks her to release Karthik. Chandramathi asks why and her daughter explains that Karthik comes from a middle class family and that his family has high hopes on him Chandramathi tells her PA to go to the police station and give the report. She then tells her daughter that they should not back out from their decision as this would weaken them. She tells her daughter to go change. When Aishwarya goes upstairs, she thinks for a moment, Chandramathi calls the police station and tells the inspector not to release Kathirk no matter who asks him to.

A few students are talking to the correspondent (don't know his name either. Sorry!) about their problems in the college and how the instruments in their college are old and unusable. They tell the correspondent when they complain they are not taken care off. The students say they paid high donation to get a seat int he college but their standard of education is poor. The correspondent then tells the solution is not to break things in the college and beat up the dean, The students apologize and the corespondent asks them to go inside and wait. After the students go inside the corresondent, calls two of his henmen and tell them to bash up the students but injuries should be invisible. A man comes to see the corresponden.(This is where my recording stopped, can someone please fill in.) THODARUM.

Episode 8

Karthick is in jail and the police inspector goes to him and tells him to sign the report. Karthik refuses but the inspector tells him he has too as the complaint was made by a very important and powerful person. Ranjini goes to the station to see Karthik. Inspector comes out and asks Ranjini what she wants. Ranjini tells the inspector that she is Karthik's sister and tells the inspector that her brother is a decent and educated person and would not do anything illegal. Inspector tells Ranjini that Karthik had gone to a dance class and tried to kidnap a girl. Ranjini introduces herself as a customs officer and the Inspector then explains that he had to arrest her brother because a VVIP, Madam Chandramathi had made a complaint against him. He also informs Ranjini that the lady had yet to give a written complaint and they have not filed FIR. He advises her to go see Chandramathi and asks her to withdraw her complaint. Ranjini sees her brother and tells him not to worry and she will bail him out. Ranjini tells the police officers not to beat her brother up again and leaves.

Ranjini goes to Chandramathi's house but is stopped by her watchman. The watchman asks if Ranjini has an appointment but is told she does not have one. He tells her that Chandramathi will not see anyone without any appointment. The watchman then asks if she is Karthik's brother and asks why he had to get into this mess. He also tells Ranjini that they are lucky that Karthick is detained at the police station and not killed. Ranjini is shocked and the watchman tells her to leave and come back the next day.

Uma sees her mother sitting in the living. She then goes to her grandmother and asks if her mother is going out but the old lady starts saying that she does not know and no one tells her anything. Uma asks her grandmother for money and the old lady gives it to her. Uma tells her grandmother to tell her mother that she had gone for a group study at a friend's house and goes out. She meets Ranjini who asks her where she is going and Uma tells her she s going to her friend's house for group study. Ranjini goes in and asks for Sangeetha and the old lady starts talking about her DIL. Sangeetha asks what happened to her and why her cell had been switched off. Sangeetha wants to know what Ranjini is going to do about Karthik. Ranjini tells her about the Inspector's advise to meet Chandramathi and ask her to withdraw the complaint but was unable to see the lady. Sangeetha also tells about how the lawyer she took refused to take the case after hearing the lady's name. Ranjini is upset and tells Sangeetha how her father is not bothered about anything. Sangeetha too tells Ranjini to go talk to Chandramathi as that is the only way they can help Karthik. Ranjini tells Sangethat they can only see Chandramathi the next day. Ranjini starts to leave and the old lady calls Sangeethat to go serve her food as she is hungry.

Ranjini in her room and thinks about how her brother was very happy when she became a customs officer. He tells her, she looks very pretty in the uniform. Karthik tells his sister that she is like their parent and she has sacrifice a lot for them. Karthik gives Ranjini a pen set as gift. Karthik tells her she must use the pen to sign the first document when she joins duty. Ranjini asks if he had borrowed money to buy her the gift but Karthik tells her it is his own money earned by donating his blood. Ranjini asks him why he is doing such things and tells him she is upset with Karthik's actions. Karthik apologizes and walks away. Back to the present, Ranjini cries and thinks hard. THODARUM.
