Even though shes from the kapoor khandaan i don't think shes had it easy, she was literally on a down spiral in her career before Jab we Met came along. if you can recall the media was starting to say shes out of business and is now only limited to item numbers.
So YES Kareena HAS worked Hard, and wether things are negative OR Positive it seems to work for her...LUCK?

Child artists do have it easy though, in terms of GETTING INTO THE INDUSTRY, but then at the end of the day its your talent that speaks and gives the status. Abhishek is a great example, and kareena.

As for her flop movies....every actor has to go throught this phase one time or the other....!
And she can't help it if the media guys want to report about her....! 😃
And yeah...as far as her acting is concerned....no one is mad to pay her a hefty amount if she is a bad actress!

About Kareena...you cant say she is successful jsut cuz she is from the Kapoor Khandaan or Karishma's sister!!😕 What difference does it make if she weren't from the Kapoor family!??

i do fyl Ash acting is a bit repetitve (acting ...not roles) ...i dno how to explain this ...hmmm like wen she plays damzl in distress ....da way she delivers...is da same ...be is role of paro ...or nandani

but kumin from her 1st film she has changed alot...she has worked hard on her acting skills ..... i think Ash has been lucky in da sense dat evn after givin flops one afta anoda ....she has managed 2 bag gud films because of her looks and da fact she had become a knwn face after winin miss world ....u reli fink afta films like jeans and aur pyar ho gaya ...she got HDDCS and Taal cosa her talent bak den?! nahhhhhhhhhhh i dn't fink sooo

as for Kareena her acting changes wid da character...Kareena was always a gud actress but choz rong films ...i wudn't say shez been lucky coza da name attached wid her ....tho she managed to make her way ...wid help of publicity ...good and bad ...but i dn't c how dat wud b linked wid her films

i wud say both wer lucky initally ...evn after givin flops ...dey managed to maintain a firm place ...but now da two are workin hard to maintain der status

Ash and Kareena are probably those actresses that you either love or hate. I happen to like them both not fanatically though, but I also think that certain directors bring out the best in them. Yet I do think Kareena is a better actress than Ash. But Ash is probably one of the most willing to experiment actresses in Bollywood. She has been willing to work with many directors in many different genres.

Ok as far as being PAID A HEFTY amount because youre a good actresses doesnt make sense...i mean if this were true apparently Rani would be the top paid actress..

Aishwarya is at the top at the moment BECAUSE shes a BACHCHAN now, ive no reason to believe otherwise, She has looks and a popular surrname now, which is publicity in itself, dont take it in a negative way because at the end of the day, these actors/actresses are happy with WHATEVER brings them money, apparently, thats what theyre there for, right? popularity and money are the main driving forces.

and i never said kareena has had it easy because shes from the kapoor khandaan or cuz karishmas her sister,

i only said having a popular name attached to your name makes it easy for you to ENTER into the industry, because you wont have to struggle as much (carrying portfolios and demos to producers), otherwise to mkae it to the top it is eventually talent that must prevail!

I can't say that I disagree with you about Ash though. I think she is a director's actress. I didn't like her in Devdas, I thought her performance was way overdone. I did like her in HDDCS, but considering how she performed in films like KHGN and Dil ka Rishta to name a few, I give alot of the credit for Ash's performance in HDDCS to SLB.

No they are not lucky...they worked very very hard.

Kareena..no one could survive the down turn in her career after initially doing big films..While the other stars like Ash Preity Rani had all the big banners..Kareena slogged it out,worked hard and never gave up.Now she is back with a bang.She is fighter.I really admire her for that.

As for Ash..after her Salman break up.She was rejected by all her directors who had signed her SRK,Chopras,Slb.All her films were gone..She went west..kept her head high and toiled..Got international recognition, Bollywood too recognised it..she clawed her way back and was rewarded with films like Dhoom-2,guru,Jodha Akbar.

It wasn't easy for them.But they had the spirit,belief in themselves and willingness to work hard.

I can name many who just folded up and disappeared after initial glory.

People can ofcourse sit back and judge them..it is their right!
