Well really we can't know whether it's original or not, but if it was copied then how come she can write other story lines just as good or even better than the chamber of secrets idea? She's obviously a good writer, and I don't think a good writer would copy someone else's idea, it sort of hurts their ego.

i haerd that she over heard sum1 talking about it and used the idea to biuld on
she prollie heard the snake part but i dont think its tru either i was jus wondering if anyone here new if it was or not
coz if it was then y wud sumone wait till she wort 4 more books to speak up
