Aaj Tak Response on 1st epi

Just saw Aaj Tak's feedback of people on the New Mahabharat...

Masses are not pleased with it...they said Ekta has failed to create the magic the old Mahabharat had created!

Costumes have also not appealed to many such as absence of "mukuts"...the Indian essence is missing...

People are also dissappointed with Draupadi - the fire in her is missing according to Nitesh

This Ekta epic seems too advanced and stylish...the traditionalism is nowhere to be seen...

Overall, audience is dissappointed with the Ekta version and thinks she has given more importance to styling and looks of actors, sets etc. and less to the true essence/meaning of the great Mahabharata...the youth thinks the show will only inspire the teens/youth to hit the gym rather than tell about the interesting war!

Haha when Peter Brooks made mahabharat they condemned BRChopras one and instead praised that for international appeal. Now when Ekta is doing that then why r u after her with a stick.

I knew this was going to happen...critics will defame and degrade the show...like they do with every other Balaji show..its nothing new...but audiences will watch this show...

hate it or love it you cannot ignore it... 😆

👏 👏 well said i think they r just jealous 😆 i kind of like it and it is too early too judge frm 1st episode. i like their costumes who wants to see them in heavy jewlry and mukuts

I m watching dis shw as it was ekta but i will watch dis shw as I luv dis. d ppl who hated dis shw of ekta will watch 2 remove more critics 4 her. so overall. every1 will watch it🤣

Ekta is not making some kind of fictional daily soap to which people have a habit of digesting them. She is recreating the epic mythology for which she just can't ignore the essence of Mahabharat and recreated her own world of Mahabharat which certainly is a big loss for her.

People may watched the show and she may gain lots of profit out of it but the buttom part is she failed to create the magic which was carried by the Mahabharat by seeing the first episode.

May be in coming episode, the show will shapes up but Ekta have to wake up from her dream land and try to create the aura of Manabharat.

well critisism is bound to happen..it happenned in the past and does this affect ekta kapoor..not one bit..

in fact her shows goes on for yrs .so more critisism she will love it as she knows how to raise her trps..

well ekta's mantra is "you dont like it so dont watch it"..

the truth we do know viewers will watch her shows no matter of how much critisism.. 😊

i actually think ppl r underestimating it..if they dont like it y wud dey watch..it was actually a wndow opening kind of..n pple r already judgin it..n as far as anita is concerend i think she is doing it better than any other tv actress wud have dun it ..(no offense)

I think many people made up their mind that they didn't like it... before even watching it 😆

But yeah, I really would have liked to have seen the crowns instead of those headband things 😕

Still, it was only the first episode, and there is a chance that changes will be made... I mean, the BR Chopra Mahabharat had many subtle changes in looks during the show 😊

btw no one knows how they actually looked in those times so i imagine them like this😉
