She may not have made an impressive comeback last year but that has not changed the demand for Madhuri. Very soon she will be seen rocking the stage during the American leg of The Unforgettable tour.

And, now comes the news about Yash Raj Films signing her for another film. The film is based on dance and a young girl's struggle to meet her danseuse mother's dreams.

The film will be directed by Shimit Amin and will have Sonam Kapoor in the lead with Madhuri in the role of the ambitious danseuse mother.

it wud be better if madhuri was sonams older sister / mentor or sumthing.....
the film sounds interesting but there is a chance that this news is false 😕

madhuri sonams mother, is that some kind of joke, i know madhuri is not in her early 20s but a mothers role to sonam, quite shocking to me.
i hope she plays her mentor like someone mentioned that should be interesting to watch, i cant wait to see madhuri again i hope she does the sequel to hum aapke hai koun too 😳

It would be wonderful if this news is true. I agree that it would be weird to see Madhuri as Sonam's mother. But after seeing Shefali Shah play mother to Akshay Kumar in Waqt when she is two years younger than him, it would not surprise me.
