Biography
On Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005
Vinit was a popular contestant in the show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005. He had never received marks that are not satisfying from the "Mento Meter" and he had never been in the bottom. During the final rounds, however, he lost in the competition to Debojit, after a tough challenge.
He was not selected to be a participant earlier on as he was under-aged, but was accepted later as a wild card entry from Fame 2005. From there he rose to be the sole representative of the Rock Gharana and quickly became Himesh Reshammiya's favourite, sparking the stories of the famous hat. Vinit has since retired the hat.
Vinit's first song in the Bollywood industry was in the film Rocky: The Rebel....Dil Rang le... With him in the song is Sunidhi Chauhan. Vineet will be performing in Himesh Reshammiya's concert, "Aap Ka Surror" Fall of 2006 with Himani Kapoor, Abhijeet Sawant, Alisha Chennai, and of course, Himesh Reshammiya himself. This concert is taking place in the United States. He has also performed around India with Himesh including cities like Ahmedabad.
Jeeta Wohi Super Star
Vinit Singh was a contestant in the show Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star. His consistent performances failed to catch the attention of the audience and he even lost his place just after being declared the best singer by Indian maestro Udit Narayan himself. In honour of his consistent performances, he was allowed to leave with a star, something that was taken away from every other contestant after being knocked out of the show.

Distinctive Quality : He was the most naughty and lovable participant amongst all. A really nice and humble person. You can never hate him.
His girlfriend's first name is Bansari.
He has participated in 49 competitions and won 48 of them. The only competition that did not result in a win for Vineet was Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 05 in which he finished second. He is currently a contestant on Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star, but was evicted from the show after a public vote on 28 June 2008. His departure was a surprise to everyone.[citation needed] There are also rumors going around that Vineet will host his own show soon, and his album is coming out in a few months. It will feature 6 or 7 songs, one of which is a Sufi number.
