And it obviously does… With six talented participants eliminated, the remaining twelve fight it out in this exciting war of music! The Battle of Musical Genres gets tougher and tougher with the elimination which all the more creates a tough competition.

Watch the eleven contestants, mentored by Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan; Ila Arun and Anand Raj Anand deliver some splendid performances, winning the hearts of music lovers across the country. As Mohammad Vakil from Jaipur is unable to perform in this week's episode because of a medical problem, his mentor Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan fills in for him by coming down to the battle field! The girls Malini, Kalpana, Antara and Harshdeep set the stage abaze with scintillating performances and prove that they are the stars of the show by garnering the maximum applause and the highest number of votes!

The elimination process of Junoon is purely based on the participants' performances. Each week, viewers vote for their favorite performer. Once the votes are tallied ever week, the weakest genre is identified. The mentor from that particular genre then has to make the difficult decision to eliminate one of the contestants from his/her team.
