Episode No 274 Tuesday 1/7/08

Thank God, no recap of yesterday's nonsense - A police officer - not
Karthik - comes to the hospital and learns that Megs is awake. He
goes to meet her and get a statement about all that happened. In the
meanwhile, Lakshmi deems it fit to keep Megs in the loop - talks about
how Viswa has been framed. Megs would love to have a RKO but has
no time - the police officer walks in and orders all the rest to go out.
Asks Megs about the incident - Megs narrates every thing
( fortunately faster than her other flash backs!!!) and asserts that Viswa did not stab her. The officer is happy to have every thing in black and white - orders his men to arrest Thyagu. Viswa is being taken to the court. Like all police jeeps do at the right moment, this jeep also brakes down midway. Like all serial police, the constables leave Viswa at the back, keep the door open and get down. Viswa has all the time in the world to scoot. Well, the inspector gets to know the slipping away - after Viswa has had a head start - then they chase. Of course, they can not catch him!!!

Thyagu's house - his cronies wait ..impatiently....one guy wants to go and finish off Muru but vakil thambi has the sense to wait for annan to come. Thyagu comes with pappa - today we know her name , Priya - all dejected. Priya goes to mom, makes sure about being striped off all her clothes, cries saying that she wants to die. Thyagu goes in..cronies want to see Muru "one hand" but Mrs.Thyagu flares up ( should have done this long back !!!) Sends out all the cronies saying that the same could happen to their daughters or wives - "u only reap what u sow"
shouts some more at hubby for being mean to a lot of people -" u hurt so many people and look how it affects our daughter" Thyagu is crying.
In all this they do not see that pappa has locked herself in. Looks like pappa will join Megs' thatha and enjoy the serenity of the heaven.

Some more tirade from Mrs.Thyagu - Roja can not sympathize with her because all this is useless now. Thaygu goes to the door and knocks saying that daddy has changed -"open the door pappa, appa will never do any more mistakes" Wife now points out that what he did to Megs is coming back at them -" penn paavam pollathathu, athaan namba ponnu mele idiyaa vizhunthu irukku" Thyagu calls the commissioner and says that he accepts all his crimes - "will come personally and surrender" - pappa is still inside ..is?? was??..

Episode No 275 Wednesday 2/7/08

Thyagu comes out of the house - looking dejected - all his cronies have been driven out by his wife - looks like he is going to the commissioner's office. Viiswa is hiding and calls out "Thyagu" - Viswa attacks Thyagu but gets beaten a few times. Finally, Viswa manages to pin down Thyagu and strangles him to death. Mrs.Thyagu comes running out and the usual "kolaigara, nee nalla iruppiya?? yen da enn purushanai konne?" Viswa stands like a rock. Priya comes running from the house (thank God!! she is alive) and right in the middle of the road oppari happens..

Danda household - Tams asking daddy for a walker -"A B C , 1 2 3
ellam pottathu vaangi kudunga ppa. Appothaan unga peran Englis pesuvaan" They come down the stairs and Viji is all set for a drama -
her parents play support actors - Santhanam feigns surprise to know that Viji was hurt by Angu and Viji doing her part -" I am the DIL of the house and I need to keep the family together. My FIL is thangam and my SIL Tams is affection personified. I do not want to tell them this and turn them against my MIL!!" Tams and Danda hear all this, are totally moved.... praise Viji to the skies.....and decide to uphold justice. Bhoo is summoned and told that Angu was the one who hurt
Viji - the moron seconds his dad's idea of confronting Angu - dad and son leave with Viji to meet Angu.

Nadu Road - Thyagu dead - Viswa arrested - dhadi and Kumar chiding Viswa for his hasty action - police ..ambulance etc., etc., Hospital - Megs in bed ...Lachu makes juice..... pasa mazhai...Lachu happily says that Viswa will be back and all will be well. Dhadi comes with his usual cry face and imparts the news of Viswa. Megs spreads her side plates - has not done it for a long time and so makes full use....all are back to square one ....RKO is in the offing......

Angu is confronted by Bhoo and Danda - Viji slowly shows her bandana head....Angu is surprised....but sees the scene ..... with the acumen of an experienced woman....

Episode 276 Thursday 3/7/08

Recap of yesterday - Bhoo and Danda shouting at mommy and Viji slowly comes behind Bhoo and shows the bandana. Angu's eyes narrow and Danda keeps shouting. Amutha finds her tongue and denies this accusation - "akka summa thalli vittanga..." Now Viji interrupts saying that she did not want to be the reason for the break up between Angu and the rest of the family -"athai yai yaarum onnum sollatheenga, she has every right to hit me , man(woman??) handle me...." Angu seizes the opportunity and doles out a few dharma adis - Viji shouts nicely and now the morons are convinced that Angu would have done the hurting
earlier as well -"enga munnaidye ipdi adikkare???" Viji still defends MIL, Bhoo drags her out, Danda tells Angu that she should never again step in to his house.... the moron family leaves. Amutha is surprised at Viji's drama ...Angu does Tilaga clan act...cries... alone😳😳

Viswa is brought to the police station - the inspector sympathizes with Viswa -" Thyagu is a rowdy but he has just reformed. By this u have spoiled your life!! Minimum 6 to 7 years jail thaan.." Viswa is not worried about his fate -"my Megs will be happy from now on".
Megs is being checked by the doctor and gets discharged -" u are
perfectly alright now, come and see me next week." Megs decides to
confide to mommy about her love - then and there - talks about Tilaga taking promises from Sezhi and Kirtana about falling in love - "u never asked me and when Kirtana made fun of that u expressed absolute confidence in me, I am sorry amma, I fell in love with Viswa at an young age...: Tilaga grabs the chance for a RKO - goes on to say about the goodness of dhadi and Lachu -" even if we had searched the whole world, we could not have found u a groom like Viswa and PILs like
these" - grants permission to Megs to visit Viswa -"go with your athai and maama and see him" - Now Megs condescends to empty the hospital bed!!!

Thani kudithanam of athai and Kavitha - settling down - Kavi's friend comes and expresses happiness -"hostel mathiri no restrictions, jooly thaan" Athai quickly interrupts and says the Kis her responsibility
and she will not be allowed to roam around. The girls go in and the friend pities Kavi ending up with some one worse than their warden.
The friend picks up the gift given by Sezhi on Kavi's B'day and makes fun -"love aa??" Now Kavi says that athai is Sezhi's athai and so
"konjam adaaki vaasi" But athai with her acumen to eavesdrop listens to the whole conversation.....

Episode 277 Friday 4/7/08

Recap of Kavi and her friend discussing Sezhi and athai eavesdropping. Kavi's friend takes leave and athai gives her a carte blanche to visit that house when ever she wants. Athai asks Kavi about Sezhi -"did he call u?" Kavi says no and athai gives a conduct certificate on Sezhi -" he is not like his mom and sisters, Kavitha, he is like my brother, a nice fellow" Kavi smiles.

Megs, dhadi and Lachu come to visit Viswa. Lachu cries ...cries. ...cries.... apologizes to Viswa for karichu kottufying Megsand finally dhadi takes her away so that the love birds can coo coo. Of course Megs grabs the opportunity to cry also - "kannai moodi padukkai le padukka vaichittar director - amma and co RKOpodarache, I could not join,missed out so much..." - tells Viswa that he hurried in to such actions" just my raasi, I was separated from my family when I was young, later I came in search of my dad and he refused to accept me,,
and now you.... finally when both our families accepted our love, u are going to be locked up for many year..." Viswa says that she will get back all the lost happiness but needs to wait. Megs promises to wait a life time if need be ( athu sari, Roja can not update that long!!! Ippo ve avalukku nakku thalli pochu😳😳) Viswa wants Megs to take care of his parents and Megs says that they will live with her from now on.
Tears tears and more tears uh huh/

Danda household - Tams is nursing Viji. Nandhu and Pechi make fun of
Viji's wound - Tams gets agitated and chase them both. As Pechi goes out , Vellai talks to Pechi and learns that Viji has enacted a drama -
" Angu iruntha kobam ellam kaatti, Viji mandai yai kallale adichi pethu dichi, athaan" Vellai further probes and learns about Kannu and the location of her work place. Dispenses Pechi and vows to see Viji "one hand"

Episode No 278 Monday 7/7/08

Diwa's friend and his wife visit Diwa's house. Are given a very warm
welcome by all - of course, the talk has to be directed to pregnancy -
friend says that they are on the look out for a good doctor. Durga probes further -" normal check up thaane??" The girl says that they aborted the first conception and are now worried that at least this child will be delivered safely. Durga seizes the opportunity to point out that Sakthi wanted to do the same and now is very happy that she did not go ahead with her plan. Diwa calls the doctor for an appointment ( Sakthi sayam innikki or nalikki veluthu pogumaa???)

Pasa mazhai between Megs and Lakshmi - Megs is being fed -
just short of singing Nila nila Odi vaa, nillamal Odi vaa - paatti is
overjoyed to see that DIL and MIL are bonding so well. Lachu says that she will take care of Megs until she is here. Megs is shocked to hear this -" inge irukkara varai yaa??enge poringa??" Lachu says that they have to get back to Trichur - "athaane enga edam?" Now every body wants them to stay. Tilaga says that they can not imagine life with out them any more (??!!!) ..... Kannu says that Megs is lucky to get PILs like this and that they should never separate ...... finally Megs
says that if they go back to Trichur, it will be difficult to fight Viswa' case...... dhadi agrees that Megs has a point -" athu thaan right Lachu.
If there is any thing to be taken care of in Trichur, I can go and come"
Lachu finally agrees but says that she would much rather rent a house nearby and stay there -" see, I get agitated easily and am used to talking rough. I do not want this relationship to sour and so I want a house of my own." Megs agrees and all are happy. Sezhi is asked to contact kanakku pillai and fix a house for rent.

Sezhi meets lover girl Geetha , after a long time. kanakku pillai is away. Geetha is upset that Sezhi does not meet her often. Sezhi says that he is busy with a lot of things but thinks of her all the time. Geetha says that her dad is planning to get her married - " yaaranum ponnu pakka vantha, coffee kuduthu ttu apram pidikkalai nnu solla vendiyathuthaan" Sezhi gets all agitated to hear this - holds her hands and says that he can not tolerate event hat -" I love u so much, u are mine and u came in to this world for me..." holds her hands...Geetha is all jelly..... K pillai is approaching the house..... Geetha sees her dad coming ...warns Sezhi..... daddy does not see the intimate moment.... Sezhi talks about the house for rent and leaves. Geetha is upset that Sezhi talks to her father as if he a servant.

Diwa, his friend and his wife - meeting the doctor - doctor does an examination and says that all is well. Diwa requests the doctor that Sakthi's delivery should be done by her -" we want u to give our baby in our hands" - the doctor tries to say some thing but Diwa interrupts. Doctor understands that Sakthi is yet to spill the beans. She wants Sakthi to contact her - asap. Diwa and co leave. The doctor is angry that Sakthi did not inform her family about the abortion -" family le kozhappam varum nnu sonna, abortion ai maraikka mudiyaathu, athanaale solliduva nnu nanum kept quiet!!! Ippo my name is at stake..let her call me......"

Episode No 279 Tuesday 8/7/08

Sakthi is getting ready to go back home - Tilaga packs a few goodies
for Sakthi and says that pregnant women feel like eating all that. Sakthi kadu kadu thufies -"yen ipdi pottu padutharinga??" Paatti asks Tilaga to go along with Sakthi and request her MIL to take extra care of Sakthi. Tilaga says that Sakthi's MIL is all honey and milk -"sheis dreaming about the grandkid.." Diwa comes to take Sakthi back, has some light hearted bantering with Kirtana and paatti appeals to him to take care of Sakthi -" intha kaalathu ponnungalukku , delivery nna yethanum problem varuthu..." Diwa agrees and talks about his friend - suddenly remembers that the doctor wanted to Sakthi - Sakthi pales.....
Diwa invites Tilaga to come along - "my mom will be happy if u visit.."

Kannu is being met by Vellai - outside the office. Vellai informs Kannu that Viji has been acting a drama - how she duped her son who is now mentally challenged.... how she instigated Angu ..... Kannu listens to the whole story..... and finally says that she does not want to involve herself in this ( aana poora vambum kettukkaraa?? for future use??)
-" ippo thaan konjam ellam calm aa irukku. If I start this now, my hubby and FIL will come to my house and fight - I want my family to live in peace and so leave me alone. Now vellai wants to know where Angu lives -" I will go and talk to her myself" Kannu vetoes that as well -" we have enough problems already, i do not want a new person to create some more..shoo shooo" -goes off leaving Vellai ...who has a constipated smirk as the reaction.

Sakthi and Tilaga in an auto - the driver looks drunk and is rash. Diwa is coming behind in his bike, tries to stop the auto but falis for a long time. Finally he manages to stop the auto, pays the driver and dispenses - hails a call taxi and puts wifey in. Instructs the driver to drive carefully -" my wife is pregnant and so be careful, ok?" Waits until the taxi takes off and follows in his bike. Tilaga applauds his concern and happily coo coos to Sakthi -"maapillai kku unmeleyum, avar kozhandai meleyum romba akkarai" Sakthi is in no mood to coo coo back - "enna da sothanai??? baby vishayam perisa aaginde porathe??" Slowly tries to tell Tilaga about the abortion but no ...wait... the viewers are not put out of their misery..... not so soon anyways....
Diwa's dad is walking and Tilaga sees him. Asks him to get in to the taxi...and yes the moment passes.... Tilaga probes "ennavo solla vanthiye???" Sakthi evades.......

Tams with Nandhu and baby - one of those credit card canvassers calls and says that he can lend money -" 1% thaan interest" Tams shows her business acumen -" fine, give me a loan of 10 lacs, I will charge 10% interest for my clients ...return your money with your interest, say what?" The other end says that she can run a bank of her own. Tams is not fazed -"exactly my plans, Tamarai World Bank - name epdi??" - other end cuts off. Vellai comes and Tams wonders as to why she is back!!! Vellai says that she forgot her keys, goes in and pulls Pechi out for a "tete et tete" session - wants the address of Angu. For once, Pechi is smart -"why?? the other day u wanted Kannu's office address and now Angu's??? u arehere as a servant and so just mind your business, ok?" Vellai is heart broken. Tams asks Vellai to wash her clothes and she obliges. Viji watches all this and knows that Vellai is out to expose her - thinks hard about keeping a check. Vellai takes the clothes from the cot and goes out. Viji comes in to Tams' room and finds a necklace lying around...picks it up....oh yes folks, the age old thirudi pattam.....drive Vellai away from the house.....uh huh Roja is tired of seeing the same old tricks in all the serials...

Episode 280 Wednesday 9/7/08

Well, folks, Sakthi gets caught - most unceremoniously - serves her
right , though!!!!! Tilaga takes leave and requests Durga to take care of pregnant Sakthi - honey, milk and sugar over flowing from all ends😳 and u know that all hell will break loose soon😳😳. Diwa asks Sakthi to call the doctor - she dilly dallies but Diwa dials the phone himself and hands it over to Sakthi. The moment the doctor hears Sakthi's voice, she goes on a tirade -" u cried, begged and so I agreed to play along. But u still have not told your people??? How can u hide such a thing as an abortion??? U better tell them, right away, ok??" Durga is upstairs, lifts the phone accidentally and hears the whole conversation. She is very angry and slowly comes down the stairs. Diwa wants to know about the conversation - Sakthi tries to say some thing but faints. Diwa and dad panic....want to call the doctor....but Durga shouts "stop fussing" Both dad and son are stunned and Durga breaks the news - " I heard her talking to the doctor. Doctor was shouting at her - she has aborted the child. Above all, she has been keeping quiet all the while!!! Ethanai nenju azhutham ( that Roja agrees - Sakthi should have at least told Diwa the truth - any marriage with out a mutual trust factor is no marriage at all!!!) Inimel iva namakku vendam, adichu thorathidalaam" Diwa is devastated. Daddy steps in..pacifies Durga saying that all can be taken care of in the morning. Finally sprinkles some water on Sakthi's face - she gets up , consoles a shaken FIL - "intha mathiri nerathile, ipdi mayakkam is normal" (neela sayam veluthu poch dum dum dum .....) FIL gives a strange look and sends her up to rest. She has no clue that she is exposed - pretty badly.

Another sick scene with Viji and parents - Viji talks about Vellai -
"she has met Kannu at work and now wants to meet Angu???" Shows the necklace suttufied from Tams - daddy darling has a plan - (aama enna periya plan??? as usual vellai kki thiruttu pattam katti anuppi
da plan!!) Viji leaves after warning daddy "sothappi da theenga, ok?"
Daddy plays jula with the necklace ( marwadi kadai , here I come - necklace dialogue by RTDW - Roja the dilalogue writer😳😳)
Padma looks victorious - ada ada ada enna mathiri hubby?? enna mathiri daughter..... is thre any one int he world who is luckier than me?? - look

Sadasivam (at last Roja got Diwa's dad's name - boy!! is she thrilled by such inventions!!😳) calls Tilaga and asks her to grace his house with Megs - asap - Tilaga probes a little but a morose Sada does not give out any thing -"phone le can not say, even if Megs is away, u pls come" Tilaga frets ( ada Raama, ennoda sontha milieu vai vittu vittu
avanga veet le RKO vaa???konjam kashtam thaan...hmmm sambhandhi amma nichiyama oblige panni company kuduppanga ...matha padi yaarai koopidalaam?? My own side plates providers are out!!!) - tells paatti that some thing is wrong but paatti is optimistic -
" can be some thing good too" - Diwa's house - mother and son exchanging their voes -"nee thoongaliya?? epdi mma thookkam varum?...hmm namba rendu per thaan affected by this...avalai paaru jolly aa irukka" Just then Sakthi comes humming a tune (apdi podu, ithanai naala eppo parthalum oru soga face kattuve, innikki ipdi yaa??? Roja sings - Vithiiii valiyathuuuu) Durga asks Diwa to take Sakthi to the doctor but Sakthi vetoes -" intha mathiri nerathile mayakkam is not a big deal" Diwa is quick to ask -"entha mathiri neram??" A puzzled Sakthi says " I am pregnant, u see" Mommy and son exchange an angry glance - Tilaga walks in - ( bali aaga pora aadu mathiri - oru malai and yello water sprinkiling thaan missing😳)
Sakthi is shocked.... Durga is all set for a lage lage fight....

Episode 281 Thursday 10/7/08

Recap of yesterday - mother and son exchanging glances...Tilaga
walking in..... Durga shouts at Tilaga and says that they are waiting
only for her -"your daughter has aborted the first child of this family.
Not just that, she has been hiding this fact and acting as if she is still
pregnant. Avvalavu nenju azhutham..we do not need her in this house
any more" - Tilaga is shocked and Sakthi is also shocked -adada kuttu
ipdiya odaiyanum mmmm - ( Roja agrees with the anger of Durga -
not for the abortion but for hiding it like this all along and on top of
that acting as if she is still pregnant!! Considering the background -
it is understandable - Sakthi should have told her hubby - then things would not be this bad - Roja also marvels at the azhutham of Sakthi -
Roja's face is her give away - she does one little unacceptable act, even the pet dog of the house can read from her face!!!) Sakthi appeals to every one, individually to listen to her side of the story but no one cares - guess even the true situation will be looked at with green glasses. Durga pushes Sakthi out of the house and closes the door - of course Tilaga follows as well. Tilaga is furious with Sakthi - scolds her
-" u will never change your attitude??? U always do what u want eh??? Your MIL is right , I am angry as well. U better come with me. Petha kadanukku life poora sapaadu podaren, va"Sakthi refuses to budge -
" I will leave here only after I explain the truth to them. You go" Tilaga compels a few times but Sakthi refuses. Tilaga leaves. Diwa and his parents listen to all this from inside - Durga goes in , Sadasivam is helpless and so is Diwa ( again Roja can understand - if Sakthi does not trust her hubby then what is marriage??? True that when ever she tried to broach the topic, he steered her away but if she really wanted to convey, she would have - her attitude and personality is such that she does what she wants, some how!!!) Sakthi knocks at the door a few times, cries and is outside.

Wasted 5 mins - Santhanam asks Viji's ex to come and meet him - some vetti "maama ..mapple" talk - Santhanam gives the necklace to this fellow (what is his name??) and asks him to go to a marwadi shop.
Kirukku leaves happily and Santhanam informs the pawn shop guy that the man sent by him is on the way.

Tilaga comes home and starts muttering from the threshold. Lachu, dhadi, Megs and others are happily talking about visiting each other.
Tilaga comes....sits on the floor and goes on about Sakthi spoiling her life... of course Tamil serials have characters who never come to the point straight - she goes on and on......finally Lachu says that unless Tilaga spells out the reason, no one can help. Finally Tilaga says that Sakthi has aborted and kept it as a secret - saucers and side plates extend to the full caliber... Megs chides mom for leaving Sakthi behind. Tilaga says that she can not beg her for ever -" she is so used to doing things her way and she wont listen. She is outside their house." Sezhi and Megs leave to get Sakthi home....Tilaga cries.... Lachu consoles....

Vellai's son in the marwadi shop - the pawn broker holds the mad fellow and calls Danda's house - Tams is searching all over the house - frets and the whole house is on the wheels - Tams laments -" ayyo antha hara thai potta Mahalakshmi mathiri iruppen nnu sonnanga, antha function kku na thaan chief guest hmmm" Pechi suggests calling in the police but Viji vetoes it -" namba family name will be tarnished "
( ayyo, ippo family name kOdi katti parakkarathu😳😳) Then comes the call from the marwadi asking for Vellai -" her son has brought a chain and wants money. He looks slightly off the rockers...athaann.. Vellai amma vai koopidunga pls." Danda says that his men will collect the chain and the boy - in the same order - sends Pechi and Nandhu-
"Ippo antha Vellai velaikki varuvaa, naalu mithi mithicha apram thaan dismiss" Viji frets and nondhufies her vithi -"appa , marupadi sothappi tingale?"

Viji calls Santhanam - dad thinks that the daughter is calling to applaud but Viji is furious -" u messed it up again?? now the mad fellow and his mom will be here soon - ennoda pazhaiya kathai will be out.." Asks dad to go and take custody of the maddie before Pechi. Dad runs. Pechi and
Nandhu arrive, collect the necklace...cajole the maddie and get in to an auto. Santhanam comes running...finds out that Pechi beat him...starts running to catch their auto...... collides heads on with an auto...not sure if it is the same which has Pechi and Co..

Sakthi is still outside. Sadasivam appeals to wife - "we must either send her to her house or keep her in. Ipdi veliye vitta, naalu per enna pesuvaanga?" Durga is furious -"oh that is her plan. She wants to have some audience and sing. I will have nothing to do with her". Megs arrives with Sezhi in tow. Sezhi shouts -"even if she has made a mistake , is this the way to treat her?" Durga and Co arrive...Durga shouts at Sezhi -" your sister is atrocious and u wont ask her any thing??" Sakthi says that she is only waiting to be heard but as usual goes in circles -" na solrathai keluga" ( enge solre??? thiruppi thiruppi suthare!! patt nnu odaikka maatiyaa?) Durga has no time for such dilly dallying ( Oh yes, Roja understands - she neither) Megs plays advocate -" even a murderer is heard before being sentenced, Please hear her out and then if she is wrong, I will take her back" At laaaaassssstttttt Sakthi narrates the incident. Diwa is livid -" ok, so
u are not guilty, fine but why did u not tell me?? I have been talking about the baby with enthusiasm and u kept quiet??" Megs says that Sakthi must have been scared to spill the beans - this statement irritates Diwa no end -" Ivalaa??? bayamaa?? iva yaarukka vathu ethukka vathu bayanthirukkalaa?? nanga thaan iva vay, kovam ellathukkum bayanthu bayanthu nadanthom..." turns to Sakthi -
"che un mele how much love I had?? u made me look like a fool in front of every body??" Tells Meg that Sakthi has no place in his heart.. goes in. Sakthi calls out "Diwa Diwa" - no use. Durga says that sonny boy is very upset -" your girl made sure to torture him...all along... and now he has decided to throw her out...so get lost" Sadasivam tries to say some thing... Durga shuts him up and the door. Megs leaves with sis and bro....
