Episode No 284 Tuesday 15/7/08

Kannu arrives at Angu's door - Angu is all excited to
see DIL and welcomes her with her open arms and danger
light forehead. Kannu is asked as to why she bunked work
(Angu plays manageras well!!) - Kannu laments that her
"ullam" is boiling like a volcano and what is the point in going
to work??? The slowly Kannu narrates all that was said at
home - " when every one points fingesr at my hubby and
say that he is the reason for all the turmoil, yen manasu
apdiye koosi porathu" ( helloooo, are u mad?? u still drool
over hubby moron??!! uh huh) Angu says that she will go
to that house now - " from now on you will have no problems
from Bhoo" ( che neeyellam enna manushi??? Angu is
interested only in her son reforming and for that she is
ready to sacrifice Kannu!!! - if she really loves Kannu like
how she claims, she should ask her to divorce moron and
get her married to Saravanan...enge????selfish woman grrr)
Kannu does some mooking - sinusitis at its peak -
"athai ...athai.." but Angu looks determined.

Loosu payyan and Vellai reach home - he laments that
Viji has forgotten him -" yennai yaar nnu theriyalai nnu
sollitta amma" - amma tries to reason out -" she has
married some one and gone away. Why do u still nurse
this feeling??" -makes him lie down and goes in to bring
food - maddie is upset and wants to die - goes to the toilet,
grabs the acid bottle , goes to sit near a well and drinks.
Vellai brings food and looks around for sonny boy - calls
out "Mahesh...Mahesh..." (at last we get the name - but we
may not need it any more, he might die today!!) Finally sees
him lying down...with frothing mouth..... screams and the
neighbors move him to the hospital.

Viji and moron - moron is lying down on the bed and eying
the ceiling (that is the only job he does, I guess!!!Of course
drinks and picks quarrels when ever possible) Viji senses
that moron is upset about the visit of Mahesh - knows how to
handle moron (hey, u have to give her credit here - she knows
exactly where to tap!) -tells him that she can understand
moron's feelings - "sooriyanai parthu naai kolaicha mathiri,
he was running behind me. But my manasu was waiting for
my Sri Ramachandra Moorthy ( uh huh, what a comparison!!)
U are my sunshine...... " sings effectively and offers to take
a "fire bath" to prove her chastity (athu sarii moron is
Sri Rama nna ithu Seethai thaane?? nalla logic) Moron melts
and says that Viji is every thing for him and he will never suspect
her. Viji lies on his lap and says that she needs only his love -
"nothing else matters for me" - Just then Sezhi lands and
shouts -"Bhoo, dey Bhoo...vaada veliye" Moron comes out...
seethes.....smashes Sezhi.."unga akka anuppinaalaa?"
Sezhi gets beaten black and blue..Danda and Viji try to stop
him but he is anger personified "yehtanai naal porumaiya
(???!!!) irukkarathu? " Ties Sezhi's hands at the back..pushes
him in to the car......and is off to Kannu's house....for another
round of abuse and fight (uh huh..Roja is fed up of hearing that
language grrrrr)

Episode No 285 Wednesday 16/7/08

Bhoo comes with Sezhi to Tilaga's house - Sezhi's hands are
tied at the back - Bhoo gets out, shouts so that the clan can assemble outside the house and doles out a few more dharma adis . The RKO gumbal comes hurrying out, sees Sezhi all beaten up and press the panic button. Bhoo is all angry about a "chinna payyan" raising the hands against him -" enna thimir iruuntha, intha payyanai kombu seevi anuppi viduveenga??? athan nalla saathinen". Megs, Lakshmi and Tilaga want to know the genus and species of Bhoo. Sakthi is very angry and shouts at Bhoo -" paavi, unnale I lost my baby. Un nizhale vendam nnu othungi irukkom maru padi yen prachnai panre?" Bhoo is over joyed to hear this piece of news -" oh??apdiyaa?? I should have celebrated this!!" Now all comes out. Bhoo says that he was the one who sent the auto to Sakthi so that she can be stopped from going to the court. He goes on -" now both Kannu and Sakthi are vazhaa vettis in your house. Megs has lost her life. You get Kirtana married..I will spoil her life as well. My anger wil not abate so easily..." storms out ....bingo Kannu arrives after her mooking to Angu....Bhoo tells her that he is very happy with wife no 2 and impresses the fact hat he is a man(???!!) He leaves and before some more mooking is done by her, Tilaga leads her clan in - " time up family, come on let us do a RKO - Roja is ready to sell tickets..."😉

Pechi visits Angu and gives her a report of all that has happened.
He also talks about Viji's romance story with Mahesh. Amutha has an excellent idea to subdue moron -"akka, Bhoo vai oru kuri solravan kitte kootti polaama??" - Angu is worried about the fate of the kuri solravan and so vetoes that. Both Pechi and Angu are worried about the sabam of Tilaga family - " ithanai sabam vaangina namba kudumbam uruppadumaa??" Pechi says that
Vellai also has joined the cursing club ( intha amma kku than kudumbam, athu mele sabam..ithuthaan issue!! Kannu vai pathi not bothered!! Aana kannu mele paasam!! still no one talks about Kannu's divorce!!! enna janmangal??!!) Finally Angu wants to go to Tilaga's house and apologize for all Bhoo's acts. Pechi says that Angu has never been saner than this😉

This part does not merit much mention - Diwa with parents - he cries copious tears and laments about his baby not seeing the light of the world. Mommy lends cry support and never forgets to point out Sakthi's nenju azhutham. Diwa wants to be alone. Mommy decides that she can not let sonny boy mope like this - "he just made one mistake of marrying Sakthi and he suffers a whole life?? No way. Sakthi has to be divorced and we need to get him remarried " - Diwa hears this and gives us a confusing expression - is he for the motion or against it??? yaarukku therium???

Episode NO 286 Thursday 17/7/08

Some thing really stupid - Pechi meets his lover girl - Pazhani ,
the house owner's sister - 1000 thamarai mottukkale BG
(intha kashtathai yenga poi solla???) Pazhani is coming back
from tample and after some silly romancing, Pechi wants to treat
her to bajji from the tea shop. Pazhani says that there are some
"porukki pasanga" making fun of her and so does not want to
go there. Pechi promises to take care of them, goes there and
see some old men - they say that they did make fun of Pazhani
as she is their classmate. Finally Pechi lures them with some
money and sends them running away - of course boasts to Pazhani
- she leaves ...thirumbi parthu hi hi nnu oru illippu, ta ta kaatarathu. ..
habbbaaaa

Angu visiting Tilaga's clan - discussing Bhoo - Angu takes over
Tilaga's pastime - Sakthi says that she has to punish Bhoo for
the atrocity done to her. All talk ill of Bhoo and Angu now also is
worried about the suffering of her family - " Sakthi kozhandaiyai
kalaicha thu maha periya paavam. Ithu kku yen kudumbam ennallam
kash ta padumo??? Kannu tells Angu -" I have to sufferhim because
I am married to him. But how can he target my family?" Now Kannu
becomes Jhansi rani warns Angu -" u better tell him, I have been
patient and he must have thought that I am scared. if I were to return
all the favors, he can not live in peace for a second. Tell him." Kannu's
eyes are gleaming and every one looks at her with new eyes...

Megs is in consultation with Anitha - discuss the Diwa /Sakthi Issue.
Anitha says that Diwa's mother maybe right n talking like
this but Diwa needs to understand. Anitha says that they should meet
Diwa alone and explain every thing. But Megs is very smart -
tells Anitha that there is no point in meeting him alone - "we better
go to their house and meet them all together. Both leave.

Sezhi is in the hospital - getting his wounds dressed. Kavitha meets
him and learns the whole thing - she is there to get a
check up for athai. Athai comes, sees Sezhi and panics. Sezhi shrugs
her and leaves ..well does not leave hides himself and listens to athai
and Kavi talking. Kavi tells athai everything - how Bhoo got beaten and
why - athai cries for sezhi -" enga veetu kku ore aambalai pillai nnu nanum
yenthambiyum Sezhi yai romba chellamaa valathom... Ivan nalla payyan thaan ,
veet le irukkira women sari illai..ivanai keduthu ttaanga . he has come alone
to the hospital, can't one of them come along....." Sezhi listens to all this looks
as if he is moved...by athai's affection..

Episode No 287 Friday 18/7/08

Danda's house - Pechi and Danda are checking accounts. Viji
brings coffee - Danda asks Viji as to when she got up - Viji
says that she got up at 4 am and has done all the chores.
Danda pities DIL for all this extra work and wants to employ a
maid -Vijidoes not want one - "after the Vellai incident, servant
nnu sonna bayamaa irukku, naane ellam seyyaren" Danda chides
Tams for not helping and asks moron to look for a maid. Danda
misses Angu and so asks sonny boy -" aama, antha Sezhiyan
payalai adichi virattiniye, athukku sandai poda Angu yen innum
varalai??" Bingo...Angu has telepathy....senses hubby darling's
love...calls home...first Viji picks up...Angu cuts....next Tams picks
up...Angu cuts...... finally Danda asks Pechi to pick up - pechi
identifies himself and Angu starts talking - Danda grabs the
phone and hears Angu asking for Vellai's address - shouts
at her saying that Angu is an accomplice to Vellai -"when Viji
said that Vellai is not a good person, I did not believe fully. But
now I believe her" - cuts the phone. Angu ponders .."Vellai
address venume?? appo thaane VIJi pathi theiyum!!" Sara
promises to unearth that mystery.

Diwa's house - Megs and Anitha narrate the whole thing
and seek justice. Pushpa is there and is happy to chip in.
Sadasivam tries to shut her up - "vetti velai nnu solrathu
ithai thaanaa?? - Megs is appealing to the good sense of Durga
who is unrelenting - "Sakthi could hide the abortion so well!!
what if she throws a granite on my son's head when he is sleeping???
Ithanai nenju azhutham ulla ponnu enne vena seyvaa. Well,
she does not come back here as my DIL" Diwa is sitting
quietly and Anitha confronts him -" we are talking about
your life and u sit there as if u are a third person?? what
happened to your senses??' Diwa tries to say some thing
but Pushpa shuts him up - asks Anitha -"will u side Sakthi if
she were your bro's wife?" Anitha retorts -"will u talk the
same way if Sakthi is your sis?" - Durga is adamant and calls
Sakthi as "odu kaali" Megs says that Diwa is a "odu kaalan" -
'avar thaane kootti poi kalyanam panni kittar!!" - well, no logic
or reasoning works here -Megs fumes and leaves with Anitha.
Does not forget to shed a drizzle outside Diwa's house.

Danda household - Pechi manages to get back a long standing
loan - some 15 lacs at one go. Viji sees that money and draws
moron alone. Goads him to ask daddy for money -"neenga
business panni periya aal aaga vendaama??" Bhoo goes and
asks dad for 10 -15 lacs. Danda lists all his "kalyana gunangal"
and says that he better stick to getting his pocket money. Bhoo
gets angry and says that he can raise the loan some how -
walks out. Danda calls Viji and says that Bhoo does not understand
his concern. Viji is all docile- promises maama that she will make
hubby understand and apologizes for his act....

Monday Episode No 288 21/7/08

Yet another drama from Viji and her parents - as usual Santhanam is
being fed in Danda's house - Viji sees Danda and Pechi entering -
drama starts -Viji asks her dad to sell the Sriperumpudhur land(???!!)
and give her the money. Santhanam says that the appreciation for that
land is growing every day and it is a good idea to wait for some more time.
But Viji needs the money now -" My hubby is my priority. He wants to
stand on his own two legs and needs money to start the business.But
maama does not want to part with his money. I totally agree with maama
in this because my hubby has always been useless. Maama's money is
hard earned and I can understand his stand. My maama is my deivam.
I do not want to hurt him. So, u better sell and give me the money ... and
make sure that other than the 3 of us no one knows this deal" - well she
made sure that Danda listened to all this. The parents acted their roles
well. Danda is moved and goes to Viji crying - Viji feigns surprise -"maama,
neenga eppo vanthinga?" Pechi says that they came right when the drama
started. Danda praises Viji to the skies..... says that it is his poorva janma
punniyam to have a DIL like this....and says that he may not trust his son but
trusts the DIL so much that he can give her all his property. Viji and co are
pleased.....Pechi is spell bound -" maama vai le irunthu ipdi oru word??? hmmm"

Angu with Amutha - it is time for the A sisters to do a duet - Angu narrates
all that happened in Tilaga's house.....Sakthi's pregnancy ...abortion...
and finally Kannu mooking that she is all set to take viswa roopam...
Laments about soonyakari Viji having the Danda clan under her thumb...
Just then sara comes with Vellai's address - Angu finishes crying...
asks Amutha to go ahead.... leaves with Sara to meet Vellai.

Tilaga household - Megs says that Diwa's mom is very angry and is ready
to get Sakthi out of their lives. Tilaga as usual laments.Lakshmi deems it
fit to chip in her 2 cents. Says that the anger of Durga is understandable -
"they lost their first vaarisu and there is also some mistake from Sakthi's
end. So, after all their anger abates, if Sakthi goes and apologizes, all will
be fine" The old Sakthi is back - her unreasonable anger surfaces. Shouts
at Lakshmi for her two cents -"who are u to talk about me?? I also feel
bad about loosing my kid!! No one cares about me... I do not want any one
to go and beg for my life.....leave ....let any thing happen.. i do not care"
Lakshmi apologizes for interfering and informs Sakthi that she will move
to her house soon..Sakthi barks some more and leaves the arena...
all the rest look helpless....

Episode No 289 Tuesday 23/7/08

Angu meets Vellai - learns the whole thing - wants Vellai to
come along with her and spill the beans at Danda's house.
Vellai refuses to oblige saying that Viji might even kill her
loosu son - "he may be a loosu but i would much rather
have him alive" Sara and Angu leave.

Part two uh huh - Viji "oothi uduthufies" and gets moron's
consent for starting a business.

Angu meets Chandru and Padmini - Padmini comes out with a
wonderful idea - "u and Kannu must go and sit in that house -
u have the right to be there - stay there and drive Viji away" -
Angu is elated by this idea and so are the others. Angu goes
to Tilaga's house - to take Kannu to Danda's house.

Episode No 290 Wednesday 24/7/08

Angu comes to Tilaga's house - Dahdi and lachu are getting ready
to move home. Angu chalks out her plans. She oozes selfishness
- " my family has to be saved, my hubby is innocent, believes that
Viji..... so can u pls send your Kannu as 'bali aadu??" Tilaga hesitates
and again Lachu pokes her nose - takes Tilaga aside, praises Angu
to the skies and goads Tilaga to send Kannu -"pesame anuppidu,
avalai biriyani yaa thiruppi anuppi du vvanga , nee thatha photo
pakkathile iva photo vaiyum vaichu maalai podalaam, say what??"
Tilaga is game -'nalla idea, appo RKO poda neriya chance kidaikkum,
RKO le micha naalai spend pannidalaam" - Tells Angu that she is
ready to send Kannu.

Kannu packs her belongings - Kirtana comes in and chides her
for being so foolish. But Kannu says that she has some ulterior
motives - says that she accepted to go to Danda's house for a
totally different reason -" I am not going to exercise my rights
and live as that moron's wife. I will make his life a living hell, he
gloated the other day that he is a man and can do whatever he
wants... I will show him that if a woman decides to take revenge
she can go to any extent - once that is done, i will just throw him
aside and get back" Kirtana looks satisfied and approves Kannu's
decision.

Lachu and dhadi in their new home. Geetha helps around. Megs
praises Geetha.... Geetha beams..finally Megs wants to go to her
house for some "mukkiamana prachnai" Lachu is unhappy to let
her go. Megs leaves. Lachu has a bright idea of getting Viswa
married immediately "bail le eduthu kalyanam pannitta Megs
inge ye iruppale" Dhadi says that they have to wait until Megs sorts
out her family problems -"sea le waves adangattum Lachu, apram
namba rendu perum sernthu kulikkalaam, ok?" Lachu agrees.

Viji and moron in the car - discussing their business venture.
They pull out to a side and wait for moron's friend. Diwa is on the
opposite side off the road..sees moron...gets all worked up...comes
to confront...... Viji wants to leave but moron can not miss an
opportunity ... "yeey, chance kidaichaa pesiye aaganum. Director
kitte evvalavu abusive words irukku??paavam, na illatta vera yaar
athellam pesa mudiyum?" Waits for Diwa to cross and come -
Diwa does an unauthorized crossing....hit by a vehicle....
hurt badly.... crowd gathers ..moron happily watches.... Viji wants
moron to call Diwa's family..moron refuses.... some one in the
crowd gets to know that moron knows Diwa...wants him to
call Diwa's people.... but moron is unhappy that Diwa is not dead....
leaves the arena...the crowd move Diwa to the hospital....

Saravanan and Angu are so shocked to see Pechi. But Pechi promises and assures them that he will not tell anyone.

Tamarai and her husband are talking some crap when Angu enters with Kannu. Tamarai makes it a big fuss and calls Danda to let know the matter

Sakthi gives drink to Patti and Patti at that point starts to advise Sakthi about her behavior. Sakthi reasons out her points and expresses her pain of having had to go through the abortion. Patti advises Sakthi to talk to Diwa, but as usual Sakthi is adamant saying when her MIL ill treated her after knowing the news, Diwa did not even utter a word to support her. She expected at least him to be understanding, but now loses hope on it (then you should have told him earlier). She goes on talking bad about Diwa's behavior on that day, and the phone rings.

As expected Sakthi gets the news of Diwa's accident from Anita. And immediately she runs to hospital...

Attai is in the same hospital where Diwa is for her regular check-up. She gets suspicious seeing Diwa's father there and finds out the news of Diwa's accident. Attai and Diwa's mum pick an argument there, blaming each others family for the current situation. Diwa's husband tries to stop it, but as usual he is ignored. Attai curses Diwa that something terrible than that should have happened to him for what they have done to Sakthi. As Attai keeps on cursing, Durga keeps rebutting and Diwa's father trying to bring peace; Sakthi enters the room... Freeze...

Episode No 293 Monday 28/7/08

Sakthi comes running to see Diwa. Athai is already there - fighting with
Durga. Athai doling out curses -" not just this, u will suffer some more"
Durga shouts back - Sadasivam is angry as well and asks athai to leave
the arena ...well Sakthi times it....and comes running to see Diwa. As
Sakthi runs towards Diwa, Durga blocks her -" we have decided to drive
u out of our family. We do not want u any where near our son, get out.'
Now athai finds a new avenue for fight -" who are u to separate the couple?
She will stay with her hubby and nurse him" Durga says that Sakthi
is not a 'sariyana ponnu" and asks her to quit. Athai now wants to go to the
police station and lodge a complaint -"come Sakthi, we can give a complaint
saying that these people are asking for dowry. then the whole family will
be inside" Durga says that the police station is "mama's house " for Tilaga clan -
"u spoiled Kannu's life by going to the police station and now u are on
to Sakthi". Sakthi orders athai out -" this is my family and I will deal with
it, u get out." An unhappy athai leaves. Durga orders Sakthi out as well but
Sakthi refuses saying that Durga is trying to separate her from her hubby.
Both Sakthi and Durga engage in a verbal war. Diwa gets angry andasks
Sakthi to leave - "get out of my sight - i do not want to see u ever" Durga looks
happy that sonny boy tows her line - a shocked Sakthi leaves.

Danda household - As Danda walks in Tams goes outside to greet him -
"appa , amma vanthirukku" - she tries to say some thing more but Danda
starts gloating that Sara must have driven her out. Tams tries to talk but
Danda goes in...sees Angu and gloats some more - bingo Kannu is there
as well - with a glass of milk - obviously MIL and DIL have done a "milk
boiling" ceremony - Danda frets and fumes - orders both out. Angu says
that she will erect a tent outside the house and " pidungufy"Danda's
Maanam - "Danda wife and DIL ai thorathittaar nnu oor pesum. Paper
kaaran news poduvaan" - Danda concedes. Looks for support from Nandh
but he is not game.

MIL and DIL - karuvaatu kozhambu - sappu kottufying - Pechi wants to join
the party - Danda vetoes. Tams is licking her lips - both MIL and DIL sit
in the center of the hall with their food. Moron arrives with Viji - fumes
and frets, wants wifey no 1 to quit ...tries to raise his hands....Angu stops
it in mid air and warns "u touch my DIL, be rest assured to end up with
fractured fingers" Moron says that he can not stay under the same roof
as Kannu - Kannu looks dejected -"athaiii" - Angu holds her hands and
pacifies - finally Danda asks moron and Viji to stay in a hotel -" we will
allow this for the night , first thing in the morning, they will be driven out"
Moron leaves with Viji - the rest of the clan goes in hungry - MIL and DIL
look happy - a smiling Kannu - call it as the "eighth wonder" of the world!!!

Episode No 294 Tuesday 29/7/08

Durga calls Tilaga - "Diwahar oda unlucky amma pesaren. I just
have one son and have so much problem. Your daughter and your
SIL came to the hospital and created a chaos. We treated your daughter
as our own daughter and she paid back very nicely. Talked all rubbish....
called me names..... let me tell u this, Your daughtershould never
come to our house .... ever" - Tilaga tries to appeal to "sambhandhi"
but Durga is unrelenting. Tilaga goes to Sakthi and slaps her a few times
-" U did get a good hubby and PILs but u do not know how to live happily
with them..." Megs tries to stop amma but Tilaga is furious - asks Sakthi
to stay away from her vision. Sakthi announces that she will leave the
house soon. Megs is clueless.

Viji and moron in the lodge - moron fumes about Kannu 'dera
pottufying" in HIS house - Viji consoles him - of course Oothi
kuduthufies - saying that maama will make sure to set right
things in the morning. Moron is elated to have a wife like this...
both try to romance...... bingo ...police arrives - the same lady
inspector who was taken by Angu.....asks moron about staying
in the lodge with his "dhoorathu sontham" Moron is unable to
declare Viji as wife..... along with a few other "jodis" moron and
Viji are taken to the police station. Night time ....phone rings.....Danda's
house ..before any one can pick, Angu picks it up -" oh? apdiya?? sari" -
wakes Kannu and takes her some where. Danda tries to
find out but Angu refuses to talk. Tams gets up and comes out-
wants to know details but Danda has none. Danda despatches Pechi
to go behind Angu. Nandhu is also asked to follow but he
refuses. Tams goes behind Pechi.

Police station - Viji is crying ...moron is as usual sitting just with his
vest. Angu and Kannu arrive. The police inspector tells them that
moron was caught in the lodge with Viji - compromising pose -
Kannu cries saying that it is her life and moron is her hubby -
"pls do not punish him. And antha ponnoda per kettu poidum.
Fogive them this once and I promise that no such thing will be
repeated." Police inspector shouts a bit and finally releases the
couple. Moron hurries out followed by Viji. Angu and Kannu just
look at their backs...
