Video of Abhijeet insulting Atif

I saw ek se bhadkar ek on zee today,and Aneek Dhar,was singing Pheli Nazar from race.When he was done Ravi Kissen asked Abhijeet one of the judges what he thought about his singing,and he started by saying,this song deserves a 0.He said he doesn't know who sang this song,but I'm sure he does,and he said he's a respectable and expeirenced singer and is sitting in the judges seat for a reason,,and said that who ever sang this song is a very besura singer,and that he doesn't want to listen to these kinds of songs anymore,and even made fun of the song by singing it, he also said that when we have such talented singers in India,why do we have to go get them from somewhere else.I'm sorry I couldn't find the video,if someone finds it,please post it on here,this is something I found on Raja Hasan's website about Abhijeet,please read it.Please comment on this,listening to this made me feel very disgusted. Former playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya's political views and his politically motivated ideas on Pakistani singers are rather well documented. So is his past track record on breaking laws - where he has booked on at least two cases of physical assault - in one case he tried again to wriggle out of the scenario by accusing the assaulted of being "pro-Pakistani".

He says among a lot of other nonsense: "Filmmakers like Mahesh Bhatt and Karan Johar are promoting Paksitani talents like Rahat Ali Khan, Adnan Sami and the Strings band. Those who do not get recognition in Pakistan are being promoted here at our cost. Very soon we will have a quota reserved for them. Even bhagwan will not forgive them. They should not invite the curse of Indian singers. Talent discovered through reality shows like 'Fame Gurukul' and 'Indian Idol' is also not being promoted. Music is art. To play politics at the cost of Indian talent is not fair."

In 2003, he even petitioned the Government of India seeking a ban on Pakistani singers performing in India.

So it doesn't come as a surprise when Abhijit has a go at Atif Aslam when Aneek sings his song in tonight's Ek Se Badhkar Ek. If the promos are to be believed - he goes on to say - that nobody will sing such songs on this stage from now on.

Now, is a former playback singer, with no work in hand, going to decide on what or who we want to hear?

Apparently even during Raja's performance of Jiya Dhadak Dhadak, Abhijeet is supposed to have said - "If you have such talents out here, why does one need to import singers from Pakistan?" Rightly so, Zee edited that part out.

This is a shame..! I love Atif.. he is a great singer.. love all his songs.. Abhijeet needs to put a lagaam on his tongue..!

I find it funny that if india has such talented singers....then why do all the songs by "pakistani" singers go big and become so popular?!?!?!?!?! 😕

There's prob alot more songs either sung by pakistani singers and/or copied from india which were originally sung by pakistani singers. Somebody should really ask abhijeet.....how many of his songs went big???? I dont know abt u guys....but lately i dont see ppl roaming the streets singing one of his songs......but def hear them whistling to songs like "bakhuda tumhi ho".....oh wait....thats a song by a pakistani singer...whatta ya know!!! 😃 😳

Abhijeet seems to be a frustrated man because of no quality work on hand...Talent sees no boundary, so it doesnt matter if they are from Pakistan or any other country for that matter, so if audience loves songs sung by these talented people there shouldnt be any issue of nationality coming between talent...It just goes to show how small a person Mr Abhijeet himself is

sombody needs to remind him that all the singers that either go to india or called by indian music directors are already stars and very popular in pakistan india doesn't make them star thier talent does. many pakistani dramas' title songs are sung by indian singer but nobody ever objected its just that people love em all regardless of thier nationality.
