Would it be cliche for Edward and Bella..

I like Jacob because he has his flaws, and I embrace that about himself.. but Edward is too much on the perfect side.. and I'm repelled by that. Edward and Bella are just too perfect, and perhaps that's how they are supposed to be.. yes, they have little obstacles. I think E&B are kind of cliche.. so, before you attack me or throw rocks at me, just think about what I'm saying.

There not a cliche. Cause edward and bella in the right sense are made for eachother, however, them being together does cause lots of problems, so they aren't exactly the perfect couple. I dunt think they are perfect. I mean what is perfect? A vampire & a klutz? 😆 I believe there really isn't anything perfect in their relationship, theres good things (their feelings for eachother ) & of course the obstacles, the bad stuff. What makes them two click w/ eachother is their love. Thats what it al comes down too. Edward loves bella, and Bella.. loves Edward. 😊 😆 even though were all confused about the bella part since she "lloves" jacob too. 😕

I'm actually not the kind of person to get repelled by perfectness. Almost all of us want perfectness. Edward's so perfect its scary. I'd totally mismatch with him 😆

And I think Jacob's flaws are cute! The only reasons I don't like Jacob is because 1.) Bella loves him 2.) When she didn't love him and only flirted with him to get info, he totally didn't get the idea and kept annoying her until she eventually fell in love with him. Otherwise, he's cute, I mean, even I want a perfect guy, but then if one thinks about it, when guys make little mistakes and have their unique flaws, it's prettyy cute!

It kinda reminds me of Karan(Saif) in Hum Tum. Not that he resembles Jacob, but the whole imperfectness, despite all of it, Ria (Rani) fell for him. In the beginning, he definitely seemed the last guy she'd fall for. And then in Chalte Chalte, SRK and Rani, two completely different characters would fall in love.

Yes, if you analyse it on the level of reality , its scary because its impossible.

I read it as pure fantasy and i find it impossible to imagine a guy like Edward existing or someone loving their partner the way he loves her. its like she is the centre of universe, Everything about him begins and ends with her...

Infact Despite his obvious flaws (which most neglect) , i find the reason most of us love Edward is because we all wish to have someone who could love us like that


Jacob-bella wud make a good pair if it was reality.. Bt its fiction, thats where we go to escape imperfectness (at least I do. ) And hence its beautiful!!!!


P.s. Can you name one love story where the Guy was perfect???????
