Aguilera Urges Wedding Guests To Give To Charity
Big-hearted pop star Christina Aguilerais urging her family and friends not to buy her wedding gifts when she exchanges vows with Jordan Bratman - she wants them to give the cash they would have spent on her to charity.
The Beautiful singer is set to wed music executive Bratman this Christmas and, as the couple send out invites for their big day, they have asked potential guests to remember the victims of recent natural disasters.
On an ornate card, sent out with the invites, the couple write, "While we celebrate the richness of life and all the circumstances that have blessed us in career and love, we are mindful of those who are suffering greatly as a result of hurricanes Katrina and Rita."
"The best gift you could give us is a donation to any of the organisations helping the stricken citizens of New Orleans."
